Do not do business with this company. I was given an offer and showed up with ZERO maintenance lights on, and as they were inspecting the vehicle a check engine light magically appeared. They tried cutting my offer over $1000. I travelled 180 miles round trip to sell a vehicle for my 80 year old parents and this is how I was treated. Do you research and look at reviews outside of their website. These people are scam artists. Highly recommend not purchasing or selling with Carvana.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARVANA. Their rating should be a NEGATIVE NUMBER!! A shipping charge should be the LAST thing to do. Ok, if a person is not eligible for financing...inform them....BEFORE a shipping fee is charged. And now for the shipping refund.... Carvana tells me that they will refund the charge...so, 11 days later, the refund is showing "pending" in my account....great. BUT, the next day it isn't showing at all....so I contact the bank, and the bank says that they could not collect on the funds, funds are not available...WTF..... S0 caravana says they will process a check..... ANOTHER 10 to 15 business days. It didn't take 10 to 15 business days for carvana to withdraw and receive the funds! Vehicle order was cancelled 1 days, after placing the order. STAY AWAY,,,STAY AWAY....STAY AWAY FROM CARVANA !!!

We are very frustrated with customer support from ********************. They purchased a vehicle from us and had the credit union pay off in our sales agreement. After we signed paperwork, they contacted the ************ knowing we had to make another payment and paid them the lower amount. So, essentially they paid less for the vehicle than they should have. When I contacted them about it, I got the song and dance about a mistake being made ad the refund should have been credited back to us. That wa a month ago. These people are nothing but scammers and quite certain illegal in their methods.

Carvana is a joke. I paid them all of these "extra fees" for them to take care of the paperwork including registration and plates. They order registration, but no plates. Then, have the nerve to tell me oh well not their problem. The 7 day money back guarantee is a joke as well. I had to take the vehicle to an approved mechanic- they only had one in the whole city- and it took 3 of the 7 days for the whole process, only for Carvana to look at the list of what needed done and say, nope, not repairing anything. By that time, the 7 days is up and you are out of luck. Best to just return it from the get go, don't wait for their clown of mechanics and ridiculous process to run its course. I wish I never bought the car through Carvana.

Undisclosed Sunroof Damage and Very Slow Resolution
I purchased a vehicle from Carvana that had some damages disclosed, but the cracked sunroof/panel roof was not listed anywhere in the inspection report. I reported this issue within the first few days after delivery so I would not lose my 7-day return period.
Unfortunately, the process to get this resolved has been extremely slow and confusing. I have been passed back and forth between Carvana and SilverRock multiple times, with no clear guidance or accountability. Each time I call, I receive different instructions about how to proceed.
Because of these delays and the lack of clear communication, my return period expired while I was still waiting for a resolution. I still do not have any confirmation or timeline for the repair.
If Carvana sells a car with undisclosed damage that is reported right away, they should cover the full cost of the repair or provide fair compensation, not delay responses until customers have fewer options.
This experience has been very frustrating, and I would not recommend buying from Carvana based on how this has been handled.

      Predator sales practices
      Deceptive practices
They make committed offers that they have no intentions of paying you.
Be aware and read the fine print

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! Attempted to sell them our car, but they refuse to pick it up. They say we have to drive 157 miles to drop it off, leaving us with no way to get 157 miles home. Beware their scam!!!

My recent experience with Carvana has been an absolute disaster, turning what should have been an exciting car purchase into a never-ending nightmare. If you're considering Carvana, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
It all started when I tried to sell a truck I bought from Carvana a few years ago. After moving and updating my address with them, Carvana failed to update my address with the bank. When I paid off the loan, the title was sent to my old address. Carvana sent me a lien release, but my current DMV won't accept it, demanding a title from my original state – which is impossible for me to get.
When Carvana came to pick up the truck for a sale to them, their driver refused to take the vehicle without the physical title, even though their own mistake caused the issue! So, I'm stuck with a truck I can't easily sell, all because Carvana couldn't manage a simple address update.
Adding insult to injury, I bought another vehicle from Carvana last week. I literally just drove it for one day, and guess what? The tire pressure indicator lit up. This comes after the car already had electrical issues that needed immediate mechanic attention right after delivery. It's truly unbelievable.
I went into this process expecting a smooth trade-in and a reliable new car. Instead, I'm left with a vehicle I can't sell, a brand-new purchase already having problems, and an immense amount of frustration. Carvana's lack of accountability for their mistakes and the poor quality of their vehicles is astounding. My advice? Steer clear of Carvana if you value your time, money, and sanity.

This company will take your funds and hold them hostage with their ridiculous internal policies.
I purchased a truck through Carvana on 5/21/2025, and overall, the experience was pretty good. There were a few cosmetic issues that weren't disclosed in the ad, but the truck was in great shape for its age, so it wasn't a deal breaker.
My main complaint and concern with Carvana are their complete lack of customer service. You have to fight every step of the way to get anything out of this company. When I placed the order for this truck, they ended up taking an extra $600 more than the agreed down payment/shipping cost. I noticed this before I even took delivery of the truck, but at the time I didn't think this was a big deal. I figured that they would make it right and since it only took them two business days to withdraw the money from my checking account, they should have no problem returning it, right? Well, it is now 6/29/2025, and I still have not received my $600. At this point, I have already paid the first payment on this truck, received the title, and fully registered it in my state. It is completely unacceptable that this company has no sense of urgency when returning money to their customers. With that being said, I do still have confidence that this money will eventually be refunded. In Carvana's defense, they did issue and ship a refund check on June 2nd. Although, the check was lost by USPS and never made it out of the state of Arizona per the USPS tracking information. I DO NOT blame Carvana for that, USPS is a joke, and most people would agree with that. What I do blame Carvana for is their total lack of remorse and competence. I contacted them on June 17th to report this and request a new check, but due to their ridiculous internal procedures, I still have no update on the status of a new check. Basically, we're back to square one. They prioritize taking your money, even if it wasn't authorized, but good luck getting anything in return from them!

I bought my car through them in the middle of January. Six months later, I just finally navigated their near-impossible registration process. I went to the DMV 3 times in one month, filed an internal investigations complaint, was required by them to drive 5 hours for an emissions test and I am still left waiting for my title which they have not sent to me. I was given $200 for my inconveniences and that was not enough. Carvana with humans is like dogs and cats, the cats are always screwed. I will strongly advise the next three generations of my family to stay far away from Carvana, from the grave if needed. They are scummy and do not deserve their business.
