They've ripped me off repeatedly charging more and more everytime. Even placing my account on auto renew without my consent. All of the work I"ve put into my website over the course of 4 years is now lost because of their ridiculous and distasteful business practices. I hope they get shut down for the terrible services and practices they've subjected me to.

DO NOT USE! We decided to try them for hosting our website. They assured us it would be no problem to migrate to their platform. We spent 8-10 hours on the phone going in circles with them. Each person we spoke to said it was somthing different that was the problem each time. Keep in mind the initial calls are actually salesman disguised as tech guys. It seems only a handful of them actually know what they are doing. The rest of their staff you are just wasting your time with. They have ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES! PLEASE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK FOR A BETTER COMPANY FOR HOSTINGS OR *********** THE END THEY FIXED NOTHING AND WE WENT WITH ANOTHER SERVICE. THEY COST US A LOT OF MONEY HAVING OUR SITE DOWN FOR DAYS. EACH TIME TELLING US IT WILL BE LIVE IN 24 Hours.GO DADDY = VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Misleading ********* 365 Reseller GoDaddy Caused Business Email Loss GoDaddy completely failed as a ********* 365 reseller. They offered what looked like a cheap first-year plan, but the second year became surprisingly expensive, with little warning. When my business email account ran into issues, I lost access to critical emails and folders and with it, important business communications.I spent two full days trying to recover my data, and all I got was over 100 pages of generic, copy-paste solutions that led nowhere. No real support. No clear answers. No accountability.I urge ********* to seriously reconsider who they allow to resell their software. GoDaddy is damaging their reputation by delivering such a poor and misleading service experience under the ********* 365 ******* strongly do not recommend GoDaddy to any business. If your company relies on email, go with a provider who truly understands and supports small business needs.

These actions have adversely affected my business operations and raise significant concerns about the company's business practices. On April 3rd 2025 I contacted GoDaddy's customer support after receiving alarming email notifications indicating potential damage to my DNS records. During this interaction, on April 2nd 2025 between 1-2pm EST- the representative suggested purchasing an **-based feature, purportedly designed to enhance my business's online visibility. Trusting the expertise of GoDaddy's staff, I agreed to this additional service.Unauthorized DNS Modifications: Following the implementation of the ** feature, unauthorized changes were made to my DNS settings without my explicit consent. These alterations disrupted my business operations, leading to potential revenue loss and reputational harmImpact on My Business:The unauthorized DNS changes resulted in website downtime, causing inconvenience to clients and potential financial losses. Additionally, the misrepresented ** feature led to unnecessary expenditures without delivering the promised benefits.A full refund of $199.00 for the ** feature, given its ineffectiveness and the misleading manner in which it was sold.Implementation of measures to prevent similar incidents, ensuring that customers provide explicit consent before any DNS alterations.Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.Sincerely,

Horrible, horrible customer service. Online with their "customer service" chat for over 2 hours. Changed the *** every 30 minutes who started over with the questions. Asked for escalation ***eatedly to no avail. Never talked with someone with a brain who could 1) read the chat; or 2) address the issues of a simple login. Run away. Stay away. Once you are in, it takes an act of god to switch to another provider. They should be charged by the attorney general for fraud since there is no customer service.

I called to see if I could transfer my commerce services from one domain to another . The *** talked me into agreeing to a refund and then he would attribute it to my other account. He then stated he could not refund after canceling the service. Spent hours on phone and text with ***s and they wont simply restore my service , they keep saying its not eligible for a refund. I wasnt seeking one. Now they charged me for a service that I do not have access to. They stole my money.

Let me tell you what GoDaddy did. My services were up for renewal, I called GoDaddy and negotiated at a cheaper rate for the same services I had. So I decided to go through ****** to pay for those services. Then two weeks later down the line Godaddy decides to charge me for the same services that I have negotiated at a cheaper rate with an old debit card that is no longer active with an old billing address that I no longer live at. When I found out about this, I decided to cancel my services with Godaddy, ******** refuse to do business with a company that has those type of business practices. Any business OK that will debit your account without permission. Dont do business with them. So I called Go Daddy and asked them to refund me the funds. They only did a partial refund. They refuse to refund the other half of the money. I asked Go Daddy how was it that you were able to charge a card that was no longer active and that my bank suspected a fraud, they proceeded to tell me that my Bank allowed that to happen. When I called my bank, they did a full thorough investigation and said that the card that Go Daddy invoiced me with hasnt been used since December 2024. My question is How go daddy was able to charge my account when I never gave them the information to my account nor my current billing address. Not only am I letting people know on this site what Go Daddy is doing, and I dont know how they are obtaining peoples information, and how they are able to crack people and get their information and bill them and charge their accounts without their permission. What Im going to do is find out how much higher this can go. Businesses should not be allowed to charge peoples accounts without their without their permission, especially if theyre using a card that is no longer in use. And somehow they got access to the current card Inever gave them the information to my current card. My bank is behind me and Im seeking legal advice.

It Two days for the BBB to post my complaint and yes I wanna respond. I have filed a complaint with every single known consumer bureau and also Im filing a complaint with my state. This card was never expired. OK. This card was reported for a fraud, and I was issued a new card with a new expiration date. The fact that you charged me twice and then purchased my information from my bank, tells me a lot about your business practice. I want a full refund because I no longer have your services. Your product was removed from my profile. I want to make this publicly known. There has been too many complaints about Go Daddys business practices and people need to know about this. People need to know what type of business Go Daddy is. I wanna go on ******* make a series on this based on my interactions with Go Daddy, and the fact that my card was reported for fraud. And that you guys are paying banks to obtain your customers information without their permission . And the fact that youre obtaining my information after I had already paid you is suspect. And now I see that you reported that my issue was not resolved and you still want collect money on services that I dont have. Why in the world would I give you permission for access to my account to charge me twice for the same product. People need to know about this people need to be aware about Go Daddys practices. People need to know about Go Daddys products and how youre stealing from your customers even if it was in the terms in the conditions, I never gave you permission to charge me twice that I did not agree upon. You guys should not be allowed to do this. You guys should not be allowed to do this. I want a full refund. I want the full refund for the $143.

Needed to change hosting companies so contacted godaddy to walk me through all of the changes to ensure I didnt mess anything up. They have a security feature that requires a code they send to your email for every record you change. Under the guide of the employee I changed the ***** and entered the code. After I changed the ***** my email stopped working because of the change so I couldnt get anymore codes. Now my website is down and in indefinite limbo because I dont have access to the email that stopped working after the website was no longer pointing to the old host. They were completely unwilling to help in any way and Im losing business and money every hour its down. Not to mention I cant contact my clients who have appointments this week. The lack of help is absolutely absurd.
