On 3/18/2024 I came in a purchased 4 tires with ******** ******** invoice # ********. Manager at the time advised me that to keep warranty tires must be must be rotated every 5k miles and also do alignment with it. ********* was also purchased for a year. Also invoice given on March 18th was a photo copy and did not have warranty printed on back side. On 2/19/25 I came for an oil change, syrpitine belt, and inspection of tires. I spoke to assistant manager ****** he advised me that since thread on tires had worn out 35k he would be prorating the new set of tires. I advised him that I didnt have the money at the time and ****** advised me to come back and he would still honor the discount. On 3/4/25 I talked to ***(manager) advised him that i needed set 4 tires and was advised by ****** that it would be prorated. *** advised me that he personally had to inspect my car for any other issues to why my tires had worn out so quickly and he was not made aware of my situation and could not honor previous statements made by ******. I came on 2/25/25 for tire inspection and appointment was made with ***. When I came in *** was not at the store and ****** received me with an attitude. He said told me he could not honor the warranty the vehicle need to be inspected. I advised him of what he had previously advised me ignored me and dodging questions. Since that day ****** has been unprofessional and constantly ignores me when I am at the store. I came in on 3/11/25 purchased set 4 tires and was not given discount even though my previous tires were still under warranty. But *** did try to upsell alignment, shocks, and control arms. Which made it seem (again) like he only cared about making money and not taking care of customer. Store location **********************************

I came in to get a FULL VEGICLE DIAGNOSIS. The mechanic came back saying I needed tires, rotate and brakes and assured that after $2,600 in repairs my car should be running perfectly fine. The first day I got my car fixed there were 3 new lights on dash. Came back a second time and they just reset the codes for the **************** came right back on. FINALLY They ended up doing an actual full vehicle diagnostic when I came back for the 3rd time. And let me know what the real Problem was on my car. ****** let me know that the parts I needed from ****** were going to be $500 to actually get my car actually fixed, which is why I went in the first place was to see whats wrong with my car, so now Ive paid $2,600 on stuff I didnt need as much as the mass air flow sensor and now I have to spend $500 more when I wouldve just spend the $500 if they told me what was wrong with the car initially. The mechanic offered to do it for no charge of labor but thats ridiculous that I had to come back 3x to get what I asked for. They just gave me bs I didnt need as much Now I have to drive my car around, not in the best state for the next couple of months because I cant afford to get the parts I actually need because I spent way too much on the brakes and tires and paid for a diagnostic and didnt get a full diagnostic. I was just contacting you to see if theres any possibility that it can get some kind of refund so that I can get these parts for my car. Because for paying $2,600 for what I thought were the correct repairs. I shouldnt be still Driving with problems. Also I was on communication with the district manager ***** and Im sure he blocked me. My messages no longer come through and when I call its straight to voicemail. I will never be coming here again and would not recommend. I complained and the district manager ended up buying the mass air flow sensor that I needed since they know they didnt fix my car like I asked. And now my car doesnt work at all.

On 4/27/24 I had them perform a front brake job. A week later I again had problems with the brakes. They redid the brakes. A week later I was again having brake problems and took my ****** Corolla to the dealership to have the third brake job. I have had no problems since then. I requested a refund from DTC for the job they did since I had to have it done correctly by someone else.

Invoice # ******** WO#******** Today, Wednesday July 17th I went to the ** in ********, ** Store #**. I had made an appointment the day before as I wanted to ensure I had a smooth experience but I had a horrific one. I walked in and was greeted by ***********************. As I was sharing with ***** that I was here for an oil change appointment and that I had come in on February of this year, purchased four tires and was given 3 years of free oil changes but that I hadn't received the coupons. Before I was done with my interaction with ***** I had the store manager step in *************************** and he instally said "YOU NEED THE COUPONS" pickup his cell phone and walk away abruptly. ***** and I looked at each other and he started asking me more questions. I told him that I had come in when ******* was the manager and that the district manager ***** had taken my rebate application (Invoice ********) and that as of today I hadn't received the coupons. I also shared with ***** that ****** was a bit rude as he was still on the phone 5 minutes later (PLEASE REVIEW CAMERAS 11:27am) ***** went back and spoke to ****** and then he came back with a better attitude and told me that he was going to take care of it. My car was finally ready at 12:37am and I was told by ***** that my car had an"oil leak" as the CRANKSHAFT SEAL was wearing off. I said that I came in on Feb and It's now July (5 month since my last visit) and I now have a problem that wasn't identified 5 months ago. I told him this seemed off and I declined the service. I walked out and checked the car and I noticed I was missing a tire cap. ****** replaced it. As I was driving home in 107 degree weather I notice my car making a noise. It turns out the bottom pan of the vehicle was left loose. I had to get my my knees in the middle of the street check under, looked at the damage caused by me driving, made an illegal U turn and returned to the store. I told ************** was NOT HAPPY and that the pan was just fine when I arrived.

Below: Email to business plus more information on my part (sent twice and they never replied)Hello,My name is *********************** and have been a customer at ********************** Tires in ****************, since November 2022. I've spent almost $2600.00.My recent visit was a total of $977.13 (includes a $200.00 deposit paid earlier).Invoice info: date 2/23/2023 Invoice number: ******** I rented a car for 19 days for a job that should have taken no more than 4 days in my opinion. The manager *******************, was friendly and professional, but I fell victim to horrible timing and not a lot of urgency as it related to my car being fixed. Between a defective part, a part delay, some employee sick calls, I was forced to wait and incur charges in a rental car. **** and his staff need two things: urgency and more staffing. I don't want to complain about **** since he was trying his best according to him. But towards the end, I was fuming and starting to get irritated and annoyed, again, it was a 19 day rental. Although he said he'd pick up most of the rental charges in an email (via a reduced repair bill) I didn't really see anything except for a $100.00 discount (proof is in invoice). I am not sure how the $977.13 invoice total came about, but if you can look into this, that would be great!I paid $939.30 for the rental with Enterprise for a 19 day rental to replace a heater core/actuator/module and a total of $977.13 for the repair bill to Discount Tires for a total of: $1916.43. I chose to get a rental, and didn't expect to use it for more than 4 days and always pay *************. However, considering these unique and unusual circumstances, my level of anger, frustration and inconvenience, I would like to request a reimbursement for 15 days @ $49.43 (daily rental rate for me), which comes out to: $741.45 in reimbursement. So far, I am in debt $1916.43 for a heater core/actuator job that took 19 days to complete, is this ok with you? The rental, cost almost more than the job itself! If I were your accounting department, I would just write off this whole transaction considering the extreme nature of the duration and all the other stuff that had nothing to do with me, yet I paid for in: anxiety, stress, irritation, time, and money. Again, how did this end up to be a 19 day job?? How?I don't want to leave a bad review (this is it) and most likely won't return to Discount Tires, but there needs to be a consideration for people's time and money. There needs to be efficiency. Put yourself in my shoes, how would you feel, if you were in a rental car for 19 days for a job that should've been wrapped up way way earlier? Please let me know your thoughts on this and if you can issue me a refund to my card or check in the amount requested.Thank you for reading this and hope you can understand where I am coming from as a consumer.***********************

I came to them to dismount some tires asked ****** how much it would cost , he happily told me they would dismount them free of charge because I am a returning customer, but in the process they damaged 5 of my tires that I planned to still use After further discussion ****** and I came to an agreement $1000 for a new set of 4 tires in the same size and brand, and when the day came to pick up the tires ****** isnt there and now a different ******************* doesnt want to honor the deal that was made, told me if I wasnt happy with what he was offering then I could take my business elsewhere he doesnt care and he doesnt understand why we were even having a discussion about it, *** has a terrible attitude and terrible customer ********************** and it was him that dismounted the tires and caused this whole ordeal it was his negligence and I was told they wont own up to any damages or honor the deal that was made

Took my car in for oil change. When removing the reminder sticker from the windshield, they said the previous sticker caused the tint to be pulled off. Problem is that they "conveniently" could not find the sticker that caused the damage. The company they tried to blame the issue on has no proof that their sticker caused the problem. I contacted ***** from Discount tire and he said he would find me a good deal on tint 'to help me out" but would not cover any portion. The cost for replacement is $480.

      Business Response

      Date: 11/07/2023

Customer has already complained to the ********************** that put in the oil change sticker in question and they have already agreed to pay him for the claim he has, why would customer get paid twice on something that was not our fault?  we stand behind our work 100% but removing a oil change sticker from a car should not damage a vehicle with a proper tint job.  if there was a failure with the sticker or incorrect sticker installed on vehicle that would be the fault of the person who worked on the car the time prior.  oil change stickers are static cling most often and would be almost impossible to create any damage.  bottom line is customer is trying to get 2 companies to pay him for the same issue.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 11/07/2023

The statement they are making is incorrect. The other company, whom I feel is stepping up even without proof, has offered to cover a portion. The total is $485 and they are willing to pay $300, which is generous. You can call them and ask, but I told him I think Discount is responsible for the entire amount, but if they were willing to split it that would be more than fair. So to make an accusation that I am trying to get paid twice is ludicrous. However, Im not opposed to getting paid for my time spent dealing with this entire issue. As a consumer that just went in for an oil change to get caught in the middle of a back and forth and time spent dealing with this is ridiculous. Also, before the other company stepped up, ***** at discount made it clear they were not going to help at all. Zero responsibility and somehow could not produce the evidence that it was another companies fault.

Damage customer is claiming is not related to our service and not caused by our personnel or our products.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 12/01/2023

it was 100% caused by them. They can claim it was another companies product, but they have yet to furnish that product, therefore they are liable.
