I bought a vehicle from Hyundai of Anaheim as per part of our agreement to purchase was a price match on my trade in. A price match car *** was willing to pay me on the spot. My salesmen ****** and his manager *********************** me to do the trade with them and to make the deal. They went as far as delivering the vehicle and taking my trade. In the contract it states $3,000 check and rims and tires included in the deal, never said we needed to swap tires with the vehicle we purchased. When we signed the documents we were promised our check 3 days later along with our tires and rims. It is now 8 days later no check and no tires and rims. I am being asked to swap tires before getting my rims and tires off of my trade. First of all those tires are custom tires and cant be swapped. We ask to speak to the general manager he is no where in sight and not reachable. The finance manager ******* is now claiming deal needs to be funded? What is that about this is not a small mom & pop dealer ship I should have received a check immediately. I have never had a more difficult and un professional experience in my life. Back peddling going back on their word, and integrity and most importantly on our signed contract. I want my $3,000 and rims and tires as promised.Initial Complaint

We recently purchased a car from this dealership. The car was delivered to us and we were given paperwork to sign. The salesperson said our copies would be emailed as soon as he got back to the office. My copies have yet to be emailed to me. I do not have paperwork for my new car. The second complaint is that the address for the car registration was written incorrectly. We have tried calling them several times. No one answers from finance and their voicemail is full. We have left messages for their general manager and finance team and someone has even taken my name and number but no one has contacted us from finance to change the address so that I may be mailed the plate and registration. We absolutely need someone from finance to call us back to correct the address.Initial Complaint

Listed price for car was $24,200. When I go to buy the car they say there are aftermarket extras of $5,975. And they tell me I must purchase a service agreement whether I want one or not - $4,000 That makes the $24,200 car now nearly $34,000. I can buy the same car brand new for less than that! I complained about the upcharges and I got a story about how it's perfectly legal to add extras and why would they sell me a car worth much more for $24,200? So I ask "then why do you list it at at $24,200?" And he actually said "To get people interested in the car." In the end he says "If I can get you an out the door price of $26,000 would you take it?" So he sends me a quote that has the costs added up to $26,000 (now with only $1375 for the service agreement I must get) plus a $5,000 down payment. How stupid do you think I am? That's a $31,000 out the door cost. Shameless, lying, false advertising just looking for anyone they can *******. Dealers like this give dealerships a bad name.Initial Complaint

Saw a vehicle online at Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Anaheim, went down to dealership to purchase via financing. ******** explained vehicle was Certified Pre-owned vehicle and was not completely ready because it did not complete the certification process, but vehicle only had nearly 5k miles on it there4 it should be ready soon. Asked if I wanted to test drive similar vehicle. After test driving another vehicle decided to purchase the vehicle seen online. Signed paperwork on Dec 17th 2022, and put $1500 down. ******** explained dealer would deliver vehicle when ready within a week or two. Called every week to check on status of vehicle and vehicle still undelivered. Ask to speak with a manager and manager agreed to pay first month car payment which is due on Jan 30th 2023. *************** is now billing me for the vehicle and dealership started evading my calls to speak with a manager. Called finance company and explained I do not have the vehicle and have no idea when Ill receive it from the dealership. *********** explained theyve already sent a payoff check for 30k to the dealership. Its now a month after purchasing the vehicle and I still dont have the vehicle. The dealer has my $1500 down payment, the car, and a 30k check from finance company and Im currently liable to make payments on the vehicle I still dont have. After filling complaints with ********** AG, ***********, DMV and bad reviews online. Sales manager called to allow me to choose another vehicle, but at this moment I still dont have a vehicle. They just dont have an urgency to get me into a vehicle after theyve received their money. I will continue to file as many complaints as needed until Im compensated. I dont know if this is race related, but their treating me very bad & disgraceful.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Certified Preowned Hyundai Vehicle that provided a 5 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty that covers the infotainment system, however Hyundai Corporate in conjunction with Russell Westrook Hyundai of anaheim failed to honor it. I have been having electrical, a/c and radio problems since i purchased it and have been coming with the same problems for the last 8 years, none of which have been fixed by the dealership. This complaint is specifically in regards to a faulty radio that has been malfunctioning since 2015, i was at the dealership with this problem more than 10 times and the service department kept misdiagnosing the problem and stating that it's a faulty fuse and kept replacing or reconnecting the fuse, which continued to short out every few months. the problem persisted: my radio would shut off and won't turn on, and every time i came to the dealership they gave me a different reason why it's happening. I have all the records. For example i brought my car on 1/27/16 while it was still under the full bumper to bumper warranty, however it was not fixed. Finally on 6/19/2017 the service **** told me it's a faulty radio and i need a new one, however now they wanted me to pay out of pocket. They stated that Hyundai denied the claim to replace the radio. On my consequent visits with the same problem (dead radio that won't turn on) they kept giving me different reasons for why this is happening and resetting the fuse. The radio, which as the service manager stated is faulty should have been fixed or replaced back in January 2016 when i brought to to them while my car was still under full warranty. The dealership's service department has been failing to determine the problem for years until my car ran out of warranty. Several months after it did, they told me it was a faulty radio that needs to be replaced and that i need to pay for it out of pocket while it should have been covered by warranty and fixed years ago.Business Response

I spoke to GM *********************************** on Dec 7th and he advised that the **** mark up must be paid and that they dont control advertisement on autotrader. This is inaccurate, because the dealer controls the content of their advertisement. In fact, they state all the fees on their advertisement in regards to registration, taxes, docs, and licensing. This dealer has an incredible track record for false, deceptive, and misleading advertising:
Please see:
*************************************************************************************************************************************************
This dealer should be thoroughly investigated for their deceptive and predatory advertising efforts. I will not settle this complaint until the **** fee is removed from the vehicle.
