I ordered a watch on watchshopping.com I never received a watch and they have not answered any phone calls or emails. They took $1100 from me for the watch and now I have gone silent. I read other reviews subsequently and found out that they just take your money and never deliver the watch. The website should be taken down at the very least.Initial Complaint

Purchased an Omega watch online 31/2 weeks ago. No delivery of the watch since and zero response from customer service after 4 phone calls and 6 emails. Site says delivery in ***** business days now going on 17 business days again with no answer or delivery or notification of a start of a delivery. Placed an order (Order#: *********) on 4/10/2023 for a "GucciG-Timeless Quartz Green **** Stainless Steel Unisex Watch SKU: YA126463A" at $791.80. Received an email that stated it would ship within **** business days. Emailed them on 4/21/2023 for an update as I had not even received a shipping confirmation. A week later I still had not heard back via email so I called their number and immediately got an agent who told me the original watch was scratched and they would have a new one shipped out to me in a few weeks. Three weeks later I called their number again and was immediately sent to voicemail even though I called as soon as they opened like last time. Left a voicemail with my information but did not receive a call back. Called again the next day, same thing. Been calling everyday for a week and still being sent to voicemail and not receiving call backs. It's been 6 weeks since they took my money and I have only been able to talk to them one time about what's going on with my order. April 24, 2023 Purchased a watch from ************* online April 25, Order confirmed with shipping time estimated in 5-8 business days Sent follow up email on May 5 Reply received from ************* that watch was faulty. I would receive full refund in 3-5 days or I could consider another watch.I provided a list of 4 other watches that were in stock on the website only to find they had been recently sold.May 5 Email from ************* that my full refund was being processed and I would receive it in 3-5 business days. I have sent 4 emails regarding my refund without reply. I have called their number and only received an answering machine. Left message. I have yet to hear anything. Following my complaint, I was finally reimbursed. However, I lost money due to a difference in the exchange rate and charges for currency.
My bank chose to cover the difference.
I remain convinced that ************* is maintaining a bait and switch business model as additional items they claim are in stock are, in fact, not. The consumer is only made aware of this following the purchase, at which point other watches are offered.
I appreciate the support of the BBB in getting most of my money back.

I ordered a watch on Watchshopping.com for over $8000 on April 10th. I immediately got an email that it will take about 10 days for the watch to be shipped. 9 days later, I didn't get any email. So, I contacted them to see what was up with the order. They told me it will take a bit more time. Finally they mentioned it will arrive by May 12th. On May 12th I contacted them again, and they told me that the watch was there but no one was in their office to ship it. They offered to refund it, since I needed this watch for a birthday absolutely on the 13th (Sat). When I asked if I could get a receipt of the refund being done, they mentioned the refund team was outsourced and would do it later. I keep emailing and calling (you never get to talk to some one BTW it's always the answering machine), no one updates me on the refund. We are Tuesday. I called yesterday and today, sent emails yesterday and today. No one is answering anymore. So all that seems fishy...Business Response

Ordered a watch 4/7/23 from watchshopping.com for $1406. Was told the watch would ship in **** business days. After three weeks of the run around about why the watch hasn't shipped I decided to cancel my order. I was told I need to wait for "confirmation" the order was cancelled, then it will take another 3-5 business days for the money to be credited to my account. Aka they can hold onto my money indefinitely. The original order confirmation reports an 8% fee if you cancel before shipping. So basically l the company is charging me for lending them money and probably had no intention of ever sending me a watchBusiness Response

Good day! We appreciate your feedback.Our standard processing time frame for orders that will be coming from our ******* facility takes 8 to 10 business days, unfortunately, for the past 2 months our company has been experiencing transit delays from our shipping courier which affects the shipment of orders. This information has been provided to **************, and we appreciate his understanding regarding the delay and he waited a couple of weeks before deciding to cancel the order.
Up to this day, the watch that he ordered hasn't arrived at our facility yet and it is still marked as in transit going to our ********** facility. For the security of our company, we don't keep our watches in one facility only, hence, we have international facilities as well.
As per checking, the order has been successfully canceled and a full refund has been successfully processed back to the original payment method used by ************** used to place the order. The funds should reflect back to his account in 3 to 5 business days depending on the bank's processing time. Our policy of an 8% cancelation fee only applies to those orders canceled within our standard time frame.

This company is charging 8% return fee for an order that is still in their queue. The order has not been processed. I cancelled within a few hours or ordering when I found out the delivery date would be weeks from now.Business Response

Our 8% cancellation policy is written on our website (*****************************************************)and also stated on the confirmation email. (see attached photo)
Weve reviewed the order and the cancellation request on our system. The order was placed last December 23, 2022. And for purchases within 24 hours, we can cancel the order without any fees.Unfortunately, the cancellation request was made on December 27th. Please know that our shipping timeframe is already included on our website and as well as the cancellation fee.
The policy is under returns/exchange and the cancellation fee is also included in the email confirmation that we sent to every customer.

I received a Longines Hydroconquest quartz blue dial in December 2022. The watch came with a warranty with "date of purchase of March 30, 2021". I did not buy a watch with a warranty belonging to someone else dated 21 months ago. Apoarently, it is pre-owned. I purchased it as a "new" watch with a 2 year manufaturer warranty. The watch customer purchased from us is a Longines L38434966, he paid $804 on our website includes free insured shipping. The watch retail at Longines at the moment $1500.

For watches that include manufacturer warranty, the warranty period is valid from the date listed on the warranty card.
Please note that there may be warranty restrictions for some watches. If the watch manufacturers provide their own warranty, then customers will be provided with a warranty card or booklet from the original Authorized Dealer. Depending on the manufacturer, the origin of the Authorized Dealer can be unknown. The Authorized Dealer will not provide the original receipt. The manufacturer may refuse to honor the original warranty as we are not an Authorized Dealer for the watches we sell.We offered few options to this customers as a courtesy for good faith, that includes an in-house warranty (date begin on his purchase date which will extended the warranty period) , partial refund, and return. However, the customer already resized the watch and as per our policy, if there are any signs of wear and tear or removed parts, the item will not be returnable. This is clearly stated on our website under returns/exchange.
Our team conducted an investigation on the order, we reviewed our packing video and we at ************* stand by our products to be brand new and unworn. The reason why the customer received an older date is that the warranty is dated by our dealer at the time it leaves their facility and is stored in a safe at our facility.Tell us why here.

I am rejecting this response because I do not appreciate being lied to as they did not offer me a partial refund or an inhouse extended warranty. Everytime I called to address the situation, everytime with a different agent, they kept brushing me off. They kept on telling me that because I sized the watch band I could not return it. As a matter of fact, when I advised them that I was going to take action and file a formal complaint with the BBB, they seemd not to care. In the past I have purchased 4 Longines watches in addition to other brands, and this is the first time that the wrapping was not properly done by the manufacturer but by a third pary. In addition warranties go in to effect from the day of purchase from the ultimate consumer and not from the dealer to a third party. The warranty is dated March 30, 2021 leaving just a few more months for the original warranty. There were no warranty restriction at the time I purchased this watch or would have NOT purchase it.
