    I am writing to address an ongoing issue with my AKRacing reclining gamer chair, which I purchased on January 9, 2020, with a five-year warranty. While the chair initially performed well, I recently encountered a problem where it no longer locks in place in the upper reclining positions.

    On February 3, 2024, I submitted a request for a replacement part to address this issue. Since then, I have been in continuous contact with AKRacing, but I have been informed that the required part is out of stock, and I have not been provided with an estimated timeline for its availability. Despite multiple follow-ups via email, I have not received any response since March 18, 2024, and there is no available phone number for direct communication.

    As the condition of my chair has deteriorated further since my initial request, the issue now requires additional parts and repairs. Given the extended period of inactivity and lack of response, I am requesting a resolution in the form of either a replacement chair or a full refund. The current situation has significantly impacted my experience and has made what should have been a straightforward issue an exhaustive and frustrating ordeal.

    If needed, I can provide a complete digital record of all email correspondence related to this matter. Please advise on the next steps to resolve this issue promptly.

    I originally purchased an AK Racing Core Series LX Plus Gaming Chair on May 12th, 2020. Product price was $449.99, plus tax. The chair I purchased came with a 5 year defect and workmanship warranty plus a 10 year warranty on the steel frame. Had the steel frame in the chair back of my chair break, and now their customer support is refusing to honor the warranty suddenly. They have since refused to communicate with me on the issue, and ignore me. The company advertises a 5/10 years warranty and is refusing to actually back up their warranty.

    A purchase for a chair was made on 12/13/2019 which carries a 5yr general warranty and a 10yr warranty on the steel frame. On 7/10/2024 I experienced a catastrophic failure of the steel frame and attempted to initiate a warranty claim.

    Despite automated messages of my request(s) being received and daily attempts to have actions taken on my claim, I have yet to hear anything from the company about next steps. I have provided clear documentation and evidence of the issue a d have been trying daily to receive a response for over 3 weeks.

    I need assistance to ensure my warranty is properly honored.

    I have continued to exercise and exhaust every avenue to contact the company. This includes phone calls where I leave a voice message, emails to all available aliases, and even posting on Twitter and replying to their threads publicly. No amount of attempts and no avenue leads to action on a warranty claim.

     

    This should be incredibly simple. However, it appears to be quite a trend based on the conversations happening publicly, on Twitter, and in Reddit. It appears this company has no interest in helping customers or honoring warranty!

    I purchased a computer chair from AK Racing in 2019 via Amazon. The product has a 5 year warranty on all non-metal parts and a 10 year warranty on the metal frame.

    In 2024 the metal frame on the bottom of the chair developed a crack in it that results in the chair leaning to one side. Over the course of my workday, it becomes painful to use the chair, as it has lost its ergonomic properties. I first contacted AK Racing about this issue via e-mail on June 17, 2024. I received an automated response that someone would get back to me quickly. I have never received a response to that original e-mail to this day, July 17, 2024.

    Since then I have tried contacting the company in numerous ways. Via phone and different e-mail addresses. I have left voicemails. I have sent e-mails. There has been no response from the company.

    Finally yesterday, July 16, I called Amazon to see if they could provide any assistance. They tried to contact AK Racing and were unsuccessful in doing so. They basically said I just have to wait for AK Racing to respond, but as far as I can tell that's not going to happen.

    This company's warranty appears to be nothing short of a scam.

    Sent in a warranty claim through their website on 12/26/2023. They opened a case in their system with request number 43732. I submitted pictures of the bent seat support as requested. On 01/04/2024 they responded that they would be sending out a replacement seat. On 01/14/2024 I responded asking for an update on shipping, got a response the next day that I would get a tracking number once it is shipped. 02/10/2024 I asked for an update again and got a response on 02/15/2024 that they were not able to ship my replacement part as soon as they were expecting, and that they would get it shipped as soon as they can. On 04/05/2024 I received a Fed Ex tracking number, 273060150910, to track my seat replacement. The label has been created, but FedEx has never gotten the package. I have responded to the emails asking for an update several more times, with no actual response from a human, just some automated emails that they have received my request. I would like to get the seat so I can put my office chair back together.

    In July 2020, I purchased a gaming chair from this company, lured in by the promise of a comprehensive 5-year warranty. When I encountered an issue and reached out for support, they approved a repair and assured me that replacement parts would be promptly dispatched. However, it's now been two long months, and I'm still waiting for those parts to arrive. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them via email, I've received no response for weeks. It's incredibly frustrating, as this product is clearly covered under warranty, yet they're failing to fulfill their obligation to rectify the problem. What's more disheartening is discovering a plethora of similar complaints online from other customers. If they are unable to deliver on their promise of repair or replacement, I believe it's only fair to request a refund for my purchase.

    I bought an AK Racing gaming/computer chair on December 6, 2020. Last year the chair mechanism broke and it will no longer stay in an either upright or a laid back/rock position. It stays in between that. I looked on their website and they offer a 5 year manufacturer warranty. I submitted the claim through their website on April 16, 2024 and provided the pictures of the chair and receipt/proof of purchase. On April 18, 2024 someone named I**** from the company emailed me asking for that information again. I provided it again and also even added a video of the issue this time. On 4/22/24 I had not heard back and sent an email requesting a status update and received no response. I did so again on 4/23/24 and no response. I sent another email as a reply to our conversation on 4/29/24 and still no response. It is now 5/14/2024 (24 days) since the representative contacted me and has not updated me and is not responding to my emails for an update. I even tried to call the number on website and it says it has been disconnected or no longer in service.

    I purchased this gaming chair as a gift for my son. When the chair arrived we were unable to assemble it because there was an issue with the screw connecting the chair base to the chair back. I contacted the company and they advised they would be sending out replacement parts, once they received photos from me of the damaged chair parts. I accepted the replacement parts instead of the refund because they said the parts would go out immediately upon receipt of the photos. However, once I sent the photos, I received an email from them (dated December 8, 2023, attached here) stating that the parts were on backorder and would not be available for shipping. I then tried multiple times to contact them regarding a replacement chair, but no one ever picks up the phone on the customer service phone number ###-###-####, and they have not contacted me back through email. I have also attempted to contact them through their customer service chat, but no one ever responds. It has been approximately two months and the replacement parts are still not available. At this point, I would like the chair to be replaced with a new unit and I will send the old chair back. It is ridiculous that I am waiting for replacement parts on a chair that has never been used, cannot be put together correctly, is completely useless!

    I placed an order for the Masters Series Max Gaming Chair - Blue by Akracing on 12/21/2021. About 6 months ago, one of the bolts on the advanced mechanism broke causing the tilt locking function of the chair to stop working. I contacted their support about the issue, and they sent a new advanced mechanism. When I tried to replace the part, I was unable to get the gas lift to detach from the base and the broken advanced mechanism. I contacted their support and was sent a video on how to detach it. I tried to detach the gas lift and in the process the gas lift was damaged and is still stuck to the broken part. I have contacted support about this with a request of the parts I need, the gas lift, base, and wheels, and was replied to with an email that stated that they were sending the parts as a, "one time courtesy." They have also only sent the wheels, not the gas lift or base. I have sent them another email requesting the other two parts with no response. As a final note, all of these correspondences have been drawn out in the response time on their part, if any at all, while I have always responded the same or next day of their email.

    I purchased a chair from AK Racing and recently it broke, while our son was sitting in it. I reviewed the warranty which state it was covered and immediately contacted AK racing. They sent a part in the mail for us to repair the chair ourselves upon removing the base of the chair, we found another component was broken and sent another picture to their support team, they intern sent a second part out for us to repair on the chair. The middle part of the chair would not come apart for us to install the second part they shipped. So I contacted them and let them know and that we would just prefer to get a new chair at this point per the warranty. I was informed that I would need to buy a piston to replace on the chair. They cannot send me a new chair from that point no one has replied to any of my correspondence not via phone, email, or chat. This chair was over $400. This company should honor their warranty, this is not a way they should be doing business
