      I have a cancelled membership and they still charged my bank account for a renewel. Now they wont credit it back.

      I have canceled my membership with 24-hour Fitness. I am a part-time personal trainer and I will never do business with this organization again. I had to go out of town for a death in the family. I contacted the store and was told I needed to come in. I said to the person via phone. I can't do that. I couldn't even get my word in before he said. I CAN'T HELP YOU. I was out of town for 3 months and spent 150 for no reason. I came back and asked to freeze the account as I was not happy. The person who assisted me said sure but there's a re-activation fee. WHAT??WHY! I spent money and wasn't even here. I said cancel it. WHY?? Lack of customer service, lack of accountability, lack of cleanliness in the gym, sauna, steam room, showers, and the weights are thrown all over the place at 430 am. I work 2 jobs and don't need to go look for my weights at this hour. So I will drive 30 min and pay 50 dollars more at Lifetime as I will not be treated like a number. **************** should be the priority of a client. I am glad I am writing this because people need to be aware of big box gyms that don't give a c*** about a person at all. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY

      I worked at one of the locations in the ******* area. I was being verbally abuse by one of my co workers. When i ****** it up to management they came up with everything they could to make it look like it was me, and for what I hear he treats everyone poorly. I never missed a shift. I cleaned the bathrooms, and completed my daily duties, and I was always on time. The turnover in that place is high. People come and go as they want.

      I signed up for the trial membership to try out the gym and see if I liked it. I did not like it and that is why I canceled. I signed up for a particular plan because I was informed by a 24-hour fitness employee at the front desk that I would only pay a dollar and I could try the gym out until the 18th and see if I liked it. If I didn't like it, I could always cancel and there were no other costs. He said it would only cost me a dollar. I called to cancel the account and was informed that I had to pay a $50 late fee. So, either the employees are providing improper information, or they're lying. If this late fee is in the fine print somewhere, it is very buried and obviously, the $1 bait-and-switch routine is extremely deceptive. There is fine print on the first page that states there "may" be early termination fees but the link goes nowhere. The only fine print available is AFTER you've gone through the lengthy sign up process and any "early termination fee" is buried in a bunch of other fine print on many pages (quite intentionally). I'll be leaving a 1 star review on ******* Trustpilot, and Yelp. I'll be filing complaints with a Better Business Bureau and the attorney general's office of ****************. Businesses should not be allowed to continue these deceptive business practices.

      I called a representative and she had me sign up online. I paid for a full year and kept asking if I would be charged a monthly fee or anything else since it was my moms card. I am 12, and do not have my own card. The lady on the phone kept saying no, so I signed up. My moms card was charged this month an extra monthly fee - they should have been honest when I kept asking to make sure that my moms card would not be charged. My mom read complaints and saw that they have shady/unorganized business practices. Shes mad since that was something I asked multiple times and they were not honest. She could hear the conversation since I called her in a different phone so she could hear. Ugh. Not cool at all.

      This is unfortunate bc the counter staff is usually so helpful and kind, even management was when I'd called, but I'd spoken with one of their team about being automatically charged for my yearly membership. I said I did not want that and they said that's doable and it shouldn't be an issue, that it would be taken care of. And then I was charged $300 for a membership I don't want, haven't used since this issue began ***** I'm disputing it with 24hr fitness I haven't used the membership. I've spoken to management at the actual location along Holgate and they were nice yet said they couldn't do anything about it. I reported the charge to the credit card company as being unjust and unwanted and I'm still working on that process after being denied simply bc 24hr fitness said so rather than inquiring further into the issue. I want to be refunded. I spoke with an associate who said they'd take care of it before I was charged and they didn't, plain and simple.

      Totally, ripping a customer off from, not frozen your account, ask when I was supposed to leave the country, and talked one their customer service, that I would like to put a frozen on my account until I get, back they told that they will take care of, it is was not like that, when I came back after 2 months later my bills piled, they want me to pay 3 months payments, and I call they headquarters and the lady offered me to pay $60. I said no, because my account was supposed to be on hold, why should I pay $120. That I didn't even go to the gym for a 3 months very, dishonest business. I offered to make a payment for $30. They didn't want it, I would like to make complaint going to a publics or maybe even the local news, make sure people be aware of the rip off. That 24hrs doing. That's maybe they went Bankrupt. Still peoples money.

      24 hour fitness in *********************************** ***** The place constantly stinks, it's like management doesn't mind working in that stink. And the employees are constantly on their phones, they need to really be curtious to members. Pins missing, staff dosent put weights back either. Please fix it, it's so frustrating because it's the gym closest to my home.

      Clearning crew need to get fired at the woodland hills facility, there is a clearning lady who tends to splash dirty water upon people, rant about Hispanics, that she's tghere to clear our ****, etc. *****, manager has been emailed, contacted many times without resolution. There are videos that will come to light if nothing is done.
