      I joined 24 Hour Fitness ************************************** *********** promising to build a super gym; they had a very small room with very limited equipment. They missed promise after promise of a grand opening day. I was worried I had been taken advantage of because they delayed time and time again, but finally they opened. I paid a large one-time sum with a $100 dollar per year maintenance fee for what was suppose to be for a "Lifetime". All has been fine as contractually agreed upon until Saturday, March 9, 2024. I went in to work out and was SHOCKED to find out that my membership had been TERMINATED. The front desk staff could not explain or find the "reason(s)" they canceled my LIFETIME Membership. They even showed me the computer screen and it stated nothing!! I asked for FOREST, the gym's manager whom I am worked with on broken equipment and safety issues in the past. ****** and another female staff member told me that ****** was not in the gym this Saturday. So they took my cell phone number and said that they would give my info to *********** would call me on Monday. He didn't! I called on ******** **** & all MGRS were in a meeting & that he will call me afterwards. He did not! I went in on Wed. again, and again he was "out"; no call back again. Called and left another / last message on Thursday, March 14 with no call back again. I just want my membership reinstated as we contractually agreed. I never received any Letter Stating any issues / Termination / Outstanding balance or ANYTHING! I would like to avoid taking legal action with a Lawsuit for breach of contract if possible and reinstate my membership.

      I paid 3 years up front in 2007 and pay $49 a year as I am "grandfathered in" This was supposed to be a "lifetime" membership as signed in the contract. Now they have jacked my rates to $94 per year with blatant disregard to contract laws. I know there'll be class action lawsuits for this breach. The corporate customer service is a complete joke as you can't speak to anybody live. They direct you to the local club. Local club says they have no say so over corporate legal which makes sense 24 hour fitness = on the brink of absolute collapse and bankruptcy.Also cant leave no stars so ONE it is.***Gym that I was going to is dirty, no one is ever cleaning , supplies are always out - I was keeping the membership in hopes that I would be able to go back after management changes or staff restructure.

      24 hour fitness ***** is extremely dirty and the new General Manager lacks integrity. An account that was paid for up front but never used and closed due to an ACL tear, was mysteriously charged again a year later.

      This 24-hour fitness is located at *****************************************************************************************. The showers and the steam room has a lot of black mold. The club does not take care of these areas. I have contacted the corporate offices of 24 hour fitness by text they have not got back to me after 2 weeks of waiting. I went into the club and talked to the manager he said that they were doing the best they could, it is hard to believe that they're doing the best they can do when these areas are not taken care of weekly. The tile in the showers has black mold on it, also there is soap scum on the walls, and hair, and garbage on the floors. I go in nightly to go in the steam room and also I take showers every evening. Week after week nothing is done, I complain to the front desk often. This problem was not there before the pandemic. I have been a member of 24 hour fitness for 36 years, since the pandemic nothing is cleaned in this club. *****************************, **********************************************************************.

      Avoid this location at all costs. On Feb 6th, ****, my locked locker was broken into. My wallet and car/home keys were taken. Before I found out, the person entered my home as they had my ID. I'm so so so grateful that my family wasn't home at the time.This location has absolutely so understanding on how to run a fitness center. There are times when the desk is completely unattended and when it is attended, the staff could not do less to keep the gym secure.This location is also a COMPLETE health hazard. No description would do the ***** THAT THEY'VE ACCOMPLISHED justice.Management has apologized and will not be offering me any reimbursement for the thousands that THEIR LACK of security has cost me. In addition, the lost sense of security, mental anguish, and lack of sleep.The person responsible can still access my building and certainly still attends 24 Hour Fitness at the ****************************. I'm so angry with myself for not taking the poor reviews seriously and for not leaving this location sooner. Stay safe.

      Trying to get into shape and start a new year with physical health goals. Was gonna purchase an annual pass but wanted to do a 3-day trial first to see the location, equipment and schedule. Says online "Try Us for 3 Days Free", signed up and got the pass. When got to this gym, was told it costs $25.This is false advertisement and false offer. Please either don't say 3-day trial pass is free, or actually acknowledge the offer.Called the gym number at 10:45am on 2/11/2024, a staff called **** or ***** took the call. When asked about the inconsistency between online offer and the price in the club. Her answer was "I really don't know". It is black and white online says Try Us for 3 Days Free. An employee who does know the sales details is either not well trained or incompetent at the job.It made me feel unwelcomed and lied to in a way. Filed complaint with 24 hours fitness and will file to bbb and other consumer agencies.

      I paid lump sum 17 years ago and pay $49 a year for the past 14 years. This was supposed to be a "lifetime" membership as signed in the contract. Now they have jacked my rates to $150 per MONTH with blatant disregard to contract laws.I know there'll be class action lawsuits for this breach.       Awful experience. I activate a THREE DAY GUEST PASS ONLINE TODAY.Came to have a quick work out with a friend and check out the facility and end up paying a day fee. I dont mind paying but management need to be on the same page in regards of what they have online as far as the 3 day guest pass advertising and rules go. I had everything they required online for the pass to be activated.Not a good impression at all.Just moved to the area but most likely I WILL NOT SIGN UP.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I was a previous employee of 24 Hour Fitness and a customer after leaving the company. I canceled my membership in July and have still been charged monthly. When I reported the issue to management at many different locations I was told that either the manager is not in (dont understand how thats possible every time I come in) or that they were unable to refund. The only time I got any somewhat decent response was when i complained via social media and tagged the company. The directed me to wait for someone to contact me with a resolution but once I was finally contacted after a whole week, I was told they were unable to give me a refund but could offer a discount on a future membership with them. I literally laughed out loud. This company is a complete joke and wouldnt recommend anyone to work here or workout here. (Also just so you know they never clean *********, saunas and hot tubs)

      I signed up for 24 hour fitness about 15 year's ago and paid a lump sum fee up front and then was to be charged $49/year thereafter. For 15 years I have been invoiced the $49/year. This year they increased the annual fee to $94. They said their costs are going up. No kidding!! An agreement is an agreement and they should honor it. If you call they just have a script to read and hope you go away. Has anyone filed suit for their disregard for your signed agreement?
