The customer service is highly frustrating. After an accidental overpayment, I spent well over a week trying to contract a ***resentative by phone about a refund. Messages were never returned. I finally broke through and spoke to a live *** who can see the credit and reached out to the individuals who will review and consider the refund claim. They mentioned there is no system in place to review the status online and they do not permit anyone to reach out to customers, via email or otherwise. After much conversation, they said they were allowed to reach out via email to confirm they've received documents you've sent them, although that was the only communication they're permitted. Finally, they said I would need to continuously call back and try to get ahold of another ***resentative using the same system that took me over a week and a half in the first place. I still have no guarantee they will refund money that isn't theirs to keep.Breg

Incompetent, no communication. Reported to Cigna, Tricare, BBB for not keeping complete records, not communicating between departments and no follow up from anyone in management position on billing, refunds requested. Just received an erroneous bill instead of my refund for overpayment of $400-500. This has been going on for 2+ years and no followup on my multiple monthly calls for the explanation. I rate this company as a scam to bill insurance and. Myself.Breg

Horrible people that don't honor their product. I have a knee brace. One of the straps literally came apart at the seams within a couple of weeks of owning it. I only use it for playing pickleball. Went back to the Ortho who verified that it was poor construction, got new straps under their warranty. They have been trying to bill me for this replacement strap now for over a year. No matter how many times I talk to them and they assure me they will take care of it, they continue to bill me and threaten collections/litigation. My ortho finally paid it themselves. Breg should be ashamed. I would never buy anything from them again on principle alone.Breg

( Actually ZERO stars ) VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE for an already inferior, ill fitting product. Original bill was billed out of network even though before purchasing we were insured it was in network. That sales person mysteriously quit. This issue was never resolved and we kept getting collections letters, We eventually paid the incorrect amount .Our insurance eventually paid them the correct in network amount. Breg has owed us a refund since last may . I have made NUMEROUS calls regarding the issue. It is NOT being taken care of and I am ready to call an attorney. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY under any circumstances !!Breg

I have supplied by insurance information and they continue to send me bills (past due) stating they billed my insurance. I have spoken with my insurance company and looked on line, there is no submission for this claim. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. I will be going to the ** with this. This is FRAUD and they should be stopped. I have worked in healthcare for 25 years and I can't understand why a hospital would use such a place for their DME.Breg

I wish I could leave - NO star! I have never dealt with a business like this! We paid a bill twice due to receiving three additional invoices after first payment was already made and cleared - for the same invoice. Once we realized the error of double payment (totally our error we admit!), we contacted Breg right away providing check information and the online payment complete with dates, confirmation numbers etc. That was back on April 15, 2024. We've spoken to customer service numerous times regarding reimbursement, and have been given every excuse as to why our money has not been reimbursed. (ie."it's in finance for review, it's in finance to determine how we should pay you back, it's under review, send me all the info so we can follow up, we see that you've called before - don't call back for atleast a month!, not sure why there is a hold up - are you certain you've made a double payment?," after several phone calls with my wife - now they can't talk to her anymore!) It is now July 23, 2024 - still no reimbursement, at the end of our most recent phone call I advised that we'd be calling back again next week since we're certain there won't be a reimbursement by then. Breg's just said "thanks!" So ridiculous! I wish healthcare facilities would realize what kind of "business" they are dealing with and subjecting their patients to! I think Breg just wants us to give up and "bank" the overpayment. What ever happened to a company having integrity and customer service?Breg

This company is a sham stating its a medical fitted device. They charge insurance 950 and its not even a product that is patient friendly. If you cant put it on yourself it isnt worth a *****. Overpriced Velcro is what it should be called. I will be contacting my insurance company to dispute this charge and bring awareness of this shoddy product being sold as a medical device with no customer service or consideration.Breg

I believe this company prey on people who are going through much pain and agony in their bodies in order for their company to grow financially! I was in pain on May 18th, 2024 and went to urgent care for my left hand, I have come to find out that I have trigger thumb. The PA that assisted me that day could not diagnose me so sent me home with breg wrist brace and a referral to an orthopedic doctor. About or around the end of June of 2024 I received an invoice from Breg for the wrist guard for $315.00 dollars!! I was in shock!! Online the brace is worth about $30.00 to $40.00 dollars!! How can this company take advantage of the sick and working class in such a terrible manner, it's embarrassing for even I to be making this complaint! I talked the customer service line and the lady said I agreed to it by signing something at urgent care! That's because I was in pain and wanted help! My insurance will not pay for it since it is considered an over the counter item. Why was this not disclosed to Mr? ** the doctor and breg running a scam on us and taking advantage of the working class citizens? The lady at breg had me on hold for ********************************************** back, no call yet. Please help me with this bill, I do not want my credit ruined!!Breg

I paid at Breg.com with my debit card and then started getting fraud charges from this company. They stated that they do not have a breach, however, that is the only place I had used my debit card for and then purchases at ************* ******** Headquarters Pharmacy-they are in on it too), ****** plus subscription, and an online order from CHEGG. It took more than a day to get the supervisor to contact which of course did nothing. I think they need to check their employees but I strongly feel they were in on the Fraud. The customer service representatives were not native to *******, they did not have an "America" access, nor were they Spanish speaking. This concerns me due to the scammers I have previously experienced. I would strongly be concerned if you pay this company for the medical devices they offer, the brace was not great quality and hurt my daughter to wear as well. Truly concerned for others and hope they are not scammed as well.Breg

We continue to get the same bill for our daughter from this company even after sending our health insurance information to them as requested. We were told to follow up with our insurance company which we did & our insurance company said **** never sent them a claim. We continued to be placed on hold for a long time. How can Breg not send a claim to our insurance and take it upon themselves. Then we finally were able to speak with a supervisor who said they will now send a claim to our insurance company.Breg
