1 starI am writing this to document a deeply disappointing and unresolved experience with Better Earth Solar.After the company installed solar panels on my home, I began noticing visible structural warping in my roof directly underneath the installation site. I contacted Better Earth and submitted clear photographic evidence of the bowing, which appears to be the result of poor installation and insufficient roof assessment.Despite over three years of repeated service visits related to roof-related issues, Better Earth has now refused to take any accountability. Their Escalations Manager issued a vague denial claiming the damage was not solar related, without providing any technical explanation, report, or supporting documentation. When I followed up for clarification, they completely stopped responding.I attempted to escalate the matter directly to the CEO, Zain Jan, to seek resolution in good faithbut he also did not ********** be clear:Better Earth has failed to engage or explain its findings.They have refused to provide basic transparency around an issue that could affect the structural integrity of my home.And they have now chosen to ignore a paying customer altogether, leaving me to deal with the consequences of their installation.I have since retained a licensed third-party roofing expert to evaluate the damage and am preparing to take legal action to recover all costs associated with roof repairs, system removal, and repayment of the loan tied to this installation.I am also filing complaints with the California Attorney General and other consumer protection agencies, and will be sharing this experience on public solar forums to help other homeowners avoid this level of negligence and non-responsiveness.Homeowners deserve better. 1 starMe dijeron que recibira un reembolso de aproximadamente $17,000 como insensible al ahorro de energa cuando presentara mis impuestos.Tambin me dijeron que poda usar este dinero como quisiera, incluido pagarlo a la compaa financiera, pero si decida no pagarlo a la compaa financiera, mis pagos aumentaran. Resulta que solo obtengo un crdito fiscal, sin dinero, punto. Supongo que mis pagos tambin aumentarn. Puro fraude. Esto tambien me pas! No quisieron resolver el problema y solo me dijieron que lo tomara como una leccin y si trataba de resolverlo en mi propia cuenta con un abogado que me poda meter en grandes problemas.Review fromNathan P

We were under contract in 2023 to install solar on my home in *********,**. We hit an obstacle w/ SDGE regarding a mysterious pipe under the electric panel. I told them our house was 100 % electric, no gas lines. I called the City of *********, and had water, gas electrical etc... come to determine the purpose of that pipe. It wasn't gas as Better Earth ********* was water . They basically abandoned the project and closed it. I wasn't notified. They kept the $1,000 dollar deposit. ***, every time I called and asked to talk to so and so, they notify me that "those people" were no longer with the company. I continued calling , talking w/very "nice"people who gave me the round about for almost 2 years. I sent them a certified letter to headquarters in ************. Was returned to sender. My last call was 1/2025 , talked with ****** ******* to whom I explained my situation and asked to have my deposit refunded. Again, very nicely, she agreed w/me and said she would request a refund right away. She forwarded the email she sent to management. I was ecstatic !~! After that, I never heard from them again. I called again 2 weeks later, and again 2/7 leaving messages to call me back, w/ no response. I finally told them I would send complaint to BBB and share it in ************* I want a refund and an apology from this company !!!

My sales person ***** ***** stated IN WRITING that after going solar I would be paying "absolutely no more fees to APS" (my electric company). Not only am I still paying additional electric but I have paid up to $200 to them per month. I was misinformed and lied to IN WRITING. After reaching out to them, ****** ******, from the escalations department, make one excuse after the next trying to cover up what his salesperson did to get my sale. This company is unprofessional and unethical. The review will speak for themselves. To anyone considering using them- I warn you- DO NOTBetter Earth Solar

1 star****** ****** has been very difficult to work with from the beginning. He will not try and find solutions. Better Earth has been a headache from day 1. The first day they came to install was a headache leaving our home with the trash all over the yard and broke some of our tiles from our roof and left it in the yard. They even left paint all over at the time our 1 month old concrete. I should've known at that point this was bad news. We were told by their *** that our power bill would be incredibly reduced to dollars and this has not happened. We are now 1 year with the system and not 1 month with reduced electric bills leaving us now with 2 massive electric bills. We have been in contact for the past 6 months looking for solutions and we keep getting the run around. We've asked for more panels and get no response. So many promises at the beginning and now complete quiet. They have now hit my credit score because of late payments that I'm trying to make but I never expected to have 2 massive utility bills, had i known i would've NEVER got these panels and now after so many attempts of trying to find solutions there are zero responses from ****** ****** or anyone from betterearth. Unprofessional, unethical and deceitful company, I'd stay far away if I was able to do this again. All of this left our family with a feeling of being taken advantage of.Review fromDan A

1 starExtremely unprofessional, unethical, and bad business practices.Better Earth has withheld payment to its contractors and has ignored all forms of communication to resolve the problem.
