1 starI have not been provided the service that I was originally promised. I was told that I would get three months free service. My bill wouldnt exceed $188. I was advised my Service would be active as a March 27, 2024, it was not. April I received the bill in the amount of $567. Better Earth apologize however told me I didnt have it in writing so I had to deal with the charges. The following month the bill was $268 opposed to the $188 that I was guaranteed. Were now in August my bill has gone up to $307. I have sent Billing statement after the billing statement for review, no . Better Earth customer service phone number ring constantly busy. **************** is ridiculous. This was the worst decision I ever made in my life.Review fromChris S

4 starsBeen dealing with better earth for a short time so far so good, but when they came to install the solar they left quite a mess. Almost pop my tire with some screws but other than that, they're really attentive.Review fromYi H

Good luck if you are doing business with Better Earth. A Sales Rep. approached me last year. After providing him 12-mo PG&E bills, he sent me a proposal at cost of $52k. I am okay with the price. This year when I filed tax, I found that Better Earth overcharged me by $26k from the proposal without letting me know before signing the contract. They didnt send me a revised proposal, didnt inform me of the price change, and not even gave me a reminder at signing. The Sales Rep. even sat in my dining room & rushed me to sign the contract. Obviously, this is out of compliance. I filed a complaint. ***************, CX Schedule Manager, confirmed by email that Better Earth will investigate. I waited for 2 weeks but haven't received any update, so I emailed her on 4/5. **** did not reply until 4/9. She said per the ************* the price increase is because I financed the cost rather than paying cash. I told her that this is not a valid reason of increasing the project price by 50%. I also told her that they should inform customer for any change of proposal in a timely manner rather than hiding the info. This should be considered as a fraud! She forwarded my concern to the ********** and assured me that I will be contacted by 4/12. No update until I received 2 emails from *****************, Legal and Compliance Admin, on 4/23 &4/25. She admitted on BOTH emails that Better Earth did the wrong practice and will issue me the payment. On 4/30, ***********************, Escalations Manager (from Sales Side) informed me that Better Earth will not take responsibility coz I already signed the contract. He also said that I myself have sent many proposals or renegotiated things last minute so the proposal I initially sent does not match what was ultimately agreed upon. I told him that the Rep. NEVER sent me revised proposal! He didnt reply. I also told him that their Compliance already admitted TWICE that Better Earth did something wrong. He didnt respond. I will file the complaint to CSLB and FTC.

1 starI GOT SUCKED INTO SOLAR! Better Earth made a promise that I would produce more than enough for an **, AC and a Pool. NOT!!! I have the ** and am paying More now than before I had this CRAP! Dont fall for itMy experience was nothing short of awful. The infrastructure of this company isnt solid from scheduling, install (it took a year to get panels working and it was a combination of info not submitted to PG&E as well as inexperienced installers). I had to manage the project to make it move so please dont trust their process, there isnt one. Youll get a call to schedule and either they dont show or randomly show up without a confirmed appt or time. There was a commitment to reimburse until I activated solar but I was just told they are no longer offering this because of financial issues. Think I was notified?? ****, I had to reach out only to be told this and its possible Id qualify in the future? What a joke If you want terrible customer service and the worst possible experience, this is the company for you.Better Earth Solar
