  My thoughts with Page Turner is that of a great friendship. I started 10 years ago with what I thought as a reputable company. Only placed a big amount of cash selling me thar a certain package would be what I needed.No one ever called me so 9 years later, I called to ask why my book was so expensive on Amazon. I did not receive royalties to speak of $ **** some were $ *****. Made nothing for all those years. Upon speaking to them they no longer carried the package ordered fom them. Went to a second company and never received $$$$. Just spent. Now I am with a friendly company who in a short time have sold **** books. Page Turner media press have been good for me. I especially like my agent who calls faithfully to give me updates. ****** is refreshing to talk to and I trust each word he speaks . We all need words of encouragement. He knows what to say and is very knowledgeable on publishing. Cannot say enough about them.**** D may 16 2023

  They will not stop calling me, even after I refuse to work with them. I have asked them not to call, given them reasons why I am not interested in them. They keep calling. They insist on staying on the line, trying to convince, and questioning my lack of interest in their services. This is harassment.

They have been in constant contact with updates on their progress My agent ***************** has already shown my book, What Do You Say? in ******* and other book shows. They have done more for my book than 2 other companies I had tried to work with previously. I have faith that *** and Page Turner Press will be successful in getting my book acquired by a *******************************

  Page turner took me to the cleaners In other words, they depleted my checking account.I went to my bank and had the charges removed.I was promised the gillies for my book.Only the cover was submitted.Please do your homework before you give them your banking information.Live and Learn!

  They are lucky to get one star. I am in my early 60's, live in *********, and am on welfare, so financially struggling. I already had a bad deal with another company Xilinris, when these guys came along. They started the pitch with being a gay person who had turned his life to ******, and asked me for $** 867 to represent me as a literary agent. I nearly paid. However I am very vulnerable and gullible and I have disabilities, so I have a recovery coach who found they are literally a scam, so fortunately I have not paid, but the agent worked so hard on me, bringing me to tears so many times. Anyway I also blame me, for why would my book be so special when thousands of books are printed and if he knew the genre of my book, he would not have pitched God to me, which shows they do not know the contents and are preying on people who are suffering like I am. If you want to publish a book, you can do it for free at kindle/amazon.

  I am a caregiver for a man in his 80s. I started in Oct of 2022. He had 8 books of poems Page Turner was suppose to publish. They would call him 3 to 4 days a week. Each call would last an hour. I could only hear his side of the conversations and it was always the same..."I have no more money to give you!" I heard him say let me call you back. Then he called them back and was giving them a credit card number, so I had to step in. So far over $18,000 has been invested. I looked at and printed every correspondence with them. He definitely got scammed. The emails and first initial payment was in Aug of 2022. I sent them an email asking if it was OK to ask a few questions on his (the author) behalf and with his permission. The next day they called him and he told, ****** that I was right there that she could talk to me but she declined. She did email me saying it would be her pleasure to answer any questions I may have and that she was happy that I was taking care of their friends (my client and his wife). I didn't put all my concerns and questions out there yet. I wanted to see what direction they was gonna go. They emailed 2 of his 8 books back for approval. One the format was changed and butchered his 20 poems. The 2nd was an exact copy of what he sent. I asked who was suppose to do the editing. They said they will take care of it but it will be a while before the editing ***** would be done with it. I printed my own copies of his 8 books of poems and have edited them in 3 days...still waiting to hear back from them. It's been 2 weeks now. Does anyone know if it's possible to get money back from them in some sort of civil suit? I am also filing a complaint with the *** fraud *****

  I am *********************, Author of 9 books, BooksbySandy, LLC. I have a story to tell and want every potential/aspiring author to know what a horrific bunch of scammers Page Turner, Press and Media, Metro Films are. They have milked me and my son of nearly $300,000 in Metro Films Book to Film adaptation with non existant contracts for 6.2 Million and later **** and Paramount claiming 9.2 Million appraised value of my books.. I paid $40K each for REQUIRED Screen Writers that never produced one screen play for me to review. I was asked for 200K and then 150K to keep from 'losing the deal". That I needed a Publicist because I was a nobody and needed publicity to be somebody before Metro would make my movie. I did not have 350K and saw red flags everywhere. I want my 300K back. But as important, I want anyone thinking about getting a book published by them to know they are precision ******** and I still have not gotten one book of the 9 in print mailed to me or my PDF files. DROP THEM LIKE a HOT POTATO. I'm ****************************************************** devastated and fiscally broken. *****

  I wrote the book "The War in ******". It is a political analysis of the war in ****** 1992-1995. Readers of the book are war reporters, politicians, historians and Bosnians. So, quite a narrow circle of people in *******. It would be completely pointless for someone to make a movie about my book, which is a political analysis with a relatively small target audience. I was called by an "agent" from Page Turner Press and Media. He tried to convince me that Hollywood was longing for a film based on my book. I didn't fall for it, and I'm writing this to warn others that these guys are scammers.
