Thank you for writing Experian(R) about your membership. Our records indicate you have enrolled in our complimentary Experian CreditWorksSM Basic membership as of January 23, 2021 and that membership is still active. As of January 11, 2023, we have opted you out of our marketing emails that you were receiving with your membership. As for the accounts that you want to add to your credit report, we have Experian BoostTM that works by connecting with a customers financial institution via their online banking account for the purpose of scanning for eligible utility and telecom payments. Eligible accounts include utility or telecom with at least three bills paid from the connected bank account over the last six months. Experian Boost only picks up online payments as well.Unfortunately, we are unable to honor your request to insert credit information into your personal credit report. We do not add data to our database from private parties since we would be unable to verify or maintain the data.We receive credit information from credit grantors who subscribe to our services and public record information from vendors who collect it from the courts or other government offices. Some creditors may choose to report their data to the other consumer credit reporting agencies, and they may not report it to us.Please note that each national consumer credit reporting agency may interpret the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act differently and each company has their own policies and guidelines for disputing information. Therefore, we cannot update or delete information in our database based on the results of a dispute with another consumer credit reporting agency nor can we dispute information for a consumer with another consumer credit reporting agency.Positive credit information may remain on the report indefinitely, although paid closed accounts generally display for up to 10 years from the date paid or closed. Requests for your credit history remain on your personal credit report for at least two years.Accurate information cannot be deleted. Potentially negative information, such as late payments and most public record items, which are obtained from courts and other government offices, remain on the personal credit report for up to seven years from the date of the original missed payment, with the exception of Chapters 7, 11 and 12 bankruptcies, which remain for up to 10 years. For additional assistance, you may call the toll free telephone number provided on your personal credit report obtained directly from Experian, or write to Experian at *************************************, or visit: ********************************************************************************** hope this information is helpful when considering this matter.Review fromWish I could have gotten my replacement phone sooner than Friday am to Monday 8;30 pm

I have had my recent credit ruined by ********* and its inability to fix the fraud on my account. I have talked to humans at transition and equafax and they were helpful and had number to talk to humans but Esperanto does not, they have a robot that does not get you anywhere and will not connect you to better communications and help, they want it done on line or through a filing, well some of us senior citizens arent good at this.. yes they discriminate against the seniors by not helping them in the phone instead . Rude robot and not helpful, transition and equafax answered and helped with a dispute to help me get my credit score back up to 820 when it has dropped overnight to 648 due to fraud on my account at Citibank card 3 months of charges on that card from ******* hackers and ********* had been working on it. Ive called at least 30 times and somewhere along the way Citi dropped the ball. Esperanto did not help me when I needed immediate help. So disappointed, they are not as good as the other 2 credit companies due to this robot system. Fix it Experian step up and fix it. Answer your phones.Experian Consumer Services

Can't speak to a human!!! I can't set up an account online. The system froze during set up and it seems the password I chose doesn't work. When I do the reset password it says username not found. When I tried to set it up again, it tells me username is already in use. A virtual assistant can't help me. the other two credit agencies have numbers where you can speak to an agent. It is not possible to speak to a human at Experian and it is frustrating! I see other responses on here where they say to write a letter. Are you kidding? No live chat, no way to email? For an agency that is supposed to protect consumer credit, I find it disturbing a consumer can't get the help they need.Experian Consumer Services

I opened an online account with my ITIN number and now my account is blocked and their system tells me to enter a valid SSN!I called so many times and the automatic system is so bad that doesn't give you an option to speak with a live/human agent. It's frustrating, I had an anxiety attack while trying to contact them over the phone.I did it all to reset my password but once it was blocked the system give me NO OPTION of doing anything!!!Too bad I can't add the screenshot in here :-( I just want to delete my account at this point!Experian Consumer Services

Contact Experian about address showing on my credit report. After verifying my information, I asked the customer ********************** **** **** to remove from account. I advised this is not even a physical address and I was concerned someone was trying to use my account for fraudulent purposes. He tells me they will have to start a dispute and will let me know of the answers via mail. Knowing Experian policy they do not remove address if there is something attached to it, i asked the ** rep is there anything attached to the address(knowing full well he can not give me specifics if it is attached). I want to know so I can protect my information from scammers. He stated he could not give me any information about the address because safety measurements to protect my credit. So I asked to speak to a supervisor in which he told me they will tel me the same thing and he could not wait because he needs to help other people. I demanded he stays on the phone till I speak with a manager to get more information. He stated they would call me back within ***** hours to answer my call. After waiting with him for 40 minutes a manager, ****** called me on my cell phone. I asked what is the company procedures on giving out management names or call back- She stated WE can not get this information.I could not even verify if she was a supervisor. After verifying my address middle name DOB, SS# she confirmed NOTHING was attached to the address. She told me if there was they can not give out information unless you request your credit report at experian.com/viewreport. Stated for security measures we need you to access your report then talk to us about what is on it( Terrible process). She even stated the ** rep should have given me this info since nothing was attached to the address. As a member I should NOT have to go through tis much to make sure my credit is correct. I can see why 1 star rating is consistent for reviews from this departmentExperian Consumer Services

I just experienced the same horrible stuff I am seeing in these reviews! It is almost impossible to get through to someone in person. Their pit bull of a phone system just keeps asking the same questions and then hangs up on you. In the reviews I have just read, I see over and over the same complaints. Why don't they make some changes? Unbelievable! I would not use this company if I had a choice. Unfortunately, if you are buying from someone who credit checks through Experian, then you are ****. HORRIBLE! I would rather not even give it one star but it looks like I have to mark at least one.Experian Consumer Services

I am a physician applying for part-time work helping the ********* hospital in *************. As part of that arduous process, I am required to request (and pay for) a "self-query" from the *************************** Base. In essence - I am asking them to send a list of law suits, complaints, issues etc to ME. As part of this process - they need to verify who I am... which they farm out to a third party (EXPERIAN) OR you can print out a form, drag it to a notary have it signed and upload it. For this same application - I did this already but now the Mass medical board wants it again because it's been over 30 days. BOTH times I applied for this self-query I could not be verified through Experian because I got my answers wrong. (Let that sink in - I got my own personal answers --- according to Experian ---- WRONG)2020 auto loan bank? bought car cash (none of the above)How many bedrooms in your home? (2 in the current apartment; 3 in the house the year before) I tried both.Line of credit bank? (I have never taken a line of credit)Previous employer (none listed where I've worked)I failed before (had to have a notary verify) and I failed this time (3 tries). Always the same questions.THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THE ****** THEY HAVE INACCURATE INFORMATION AND THEIR LAZINESS IS COSTING ME MONEY AND TIME.Experian Consumer Services
