I recently bought a ring and it was delivered yesterday. It is beautiful. If its fake, I would be ok with that. I spent more on a fake wedding ring, (to wear of vacation), in the department store that doesnt look nearly as nice. I will take it to my jeweler to confirm, but either way, I am very happy with my purchase. I won 2 more biddings and cant wait for them to arrive.

If you take the item to a jeweler, please print the description page and take it with you. 'Fake' is not a material used in manufacturing, but if you take a plated ring to a jeweler and ask them if it's fake, they will say yes, since it's not solid gold. This is a common source of the negative reviews we receive. Reading the full description is key to having a positive purchasing experience. Nice costume jewelry, but it's NOT real. Bought some pieces and they're very pretty, but when I tried to resell to a jewler, it turned out they were not real diamonds. (I dont even think there are any diamonds on anything I bought, even tho it says there are.) The estimated value is fake. Only buy for fun, not for serious buyers!!PoliceAuctions.com

5 starsI have purchased many items and I love each one. One bracelet was a graduation gift for my grand daughter and she loved it! I will continue to participate in the auctions. Right now I am hoping to win a ring for my daughter. Read the descriptions and print all the information on each item. Again my five rings and two bracelets are so beautiful!! Today was the first time I had purchased anything from this site. I am pretty surprised to find out that they are in no way affiliated what so ever and that they are able to have a site that states they are a police auction, even the logo appears judicial. You would think that would be considered a deceptive tactic especially if they are selling "fake" items. I have purchased many rings on this site and there are only 2 that I have issues with however, most were supposed to have 2 types of gems yet only had one. There was silver where the 2nd gem was supposed to be. One looked nothing like the photo but to return it would cost far too much because I have to pay for shipping both ways which is $17... one way so it is not worth returning it. The silver "dots" (which are supposed to be diamonds) on it are larger than the stones and it is really horrible looking. I have only done home testing and there is only 1 that I can say is fake, the others appear real, at least using the home testing methods. The majority of rings are all size 7, very rarely there is a 6 or an 8 which can be frustrating. It would also be helpful if you could search for only what you are looking for, such as "Rubies" instead of having to search through many pages to find what you are looking for. It would also be helpful if you could search for the size you want, unless it's a 7, you can count on any of them being a 7.PoliceAuctions.com

Every single time I've bid on an item, its immediately followed by a bot bid. Its a no win situation until the bids get ridiculously high and not worth the actual item. Thaks for your review. Apparently, you are unaware of *** bidding, where users can set their high bid, and the system bids up for them as needed until they hit their high bid. There is no scamming going on, just normal behaviour for an online auction. Your review is indicative of people screaming scam when they don't understand the fundamentals of the site. We could have easily explained this to you if you had just done us the courtesy of putting in a support request. We have an A+ rating because we do over ******* auctions per year with very few complaints. We are very responsive in our customer service with response times of no more than 12 hours, 365 days a year.
