      I am having issues with Powur getting my solar panels turned on because they installed equipment behind my fence and Dominion wanted it out front for 24 Hr. access. I have been having issues with them leaving job site dirty and unfinished. Sheetrock dust and insulation particles. Now Im paying electric and solar because panels are not turned on. Im being ignored by my project manager and her supervisor. No resolution is in sight. Im getting conflicting information from them on reimbursement. First I was told yes, now Im being told that I have to wait until they fix their mistake and get approval to operate from dominion then Ill get reimbursed. Ive had no other recourse and I cant afford a lawyer at this time. I just want them to get their equipment, refund my money and leave. Ive been making De payments because I dont want to mess up my credit. I want nothing else to do with them.

      We purchased the solar panel back in February 2022 with the verbal promise that they will cover the cost of uninstalling the panels when we were going to be ready to replace our roof. We advised the seller that we didnt want to buy the panels until we complete roof replacement and he conveced us that we wouldnt have a problem because they will do that for us when were ready to do the roof. Now we called them to uninstall the panels because we are on the process of replacing the roof and they are giving us uninstaller companies names for them to do that for us for is going to cost 10k. Powur said they dont cover the cost, so basically we spent 42k to put solar panels from Powur and we have to pay extra 10k to do uninstall them because the seller of the panels didnt wrote his verbal promise in the contract. I feel this company its not transparent with their clients and they will say anything for you to buy their product. Now we have to pay an extra 10k when we could have just complete our roof first and save that money if we had any idea that we was going to pay for that.. the seller lied to us..

      When I bought the panels, the representative to sell us the panels lied about this for us to buy it. We were going to do the roof prior and the representative to sell us the panel stated that they will remove and reinstall them for us free of charge. For us, this not good communication to the buyer since now the list the Powur provided us, they want to charge us an extra 10k which we could have avoided if we did the roof first like we were planning to do. Now its fair to the customer that we paid 42k for panels and now have to pay an additional 10k, I dont think so.

      these problems have been for 2 years, trying to come and do some work and the work never been complete. This company I been doing all kinds of complains to come to fix the connections, call emails, and contact the customer service and they have always an excuse to not fix the connection.

      I agreed to solar installation via purchase. The array shown to me by my salesperson was to be on the topmost section of a ******* roof. When the workers arrived I gave them access to the building and they proceeded to install. Upon my return home from work I saw they had installed much of the array in the lower section of ******* roof facing west - and many tall trees. I said something to the installer, who said he thought it was an error also but called the office to confirm the design. I later learned from a Powur employee that the installer should have reviewed the plans with me before beginning, but they did not. I asked them to halt installation, but they had already drilled holes in my metal roof.I called Powur to stop the process until they could correct the issue, and eventually declined a rescheduled "connection" appointment which would have obligated me for payment. They have only offered (after they had angrily responded to my complaints multiple times) to add 2 panels without displaying the details on what should have been provided with proper design. Had they planned correctly, I would have paid for fewer panels to get the necessary output. Forcing me to pay for extra panels is bad enough, but denying what their own software (a "shade report") and salesperson and installer said was an inefficient design is unacceptable. I have wasted many hours and still have unusable panels in inefficient placing on my roof, and they are threatening to sue.

      as per my complaint, the layout of panels was not what Powur told me it would be. What they installed did not maximize the roof sections with the most access to sunlight, and instead used a surface that is shaded by trees for hours each day.  As a result, I had to pay for more panels than needed to achieve my required output.

      Again, i would like to see detailed reports showing the output per panel for each surface.  I have been offered 2 additional panels but I still believe I am being forced to pay for more panels than I needed due to a highly inefficient installation plan.

       

      Finally, the response from the company has been, by and large, rude. They have been more interested in their own demands and perspective than in hearing my issues, which has resulted in a great deal of my time fighting this when I should be enjoying the benefits of solar. It has also been a great deal of stress in my life that I never wanted.

      "Powur" requested that we "move our conversation to email. "  From there, they returned to their original position and have continued to bully me.  Power's application did not provide me access to the design prior to installation. Powur's installers also neglected to follow Powur's policy of showing the design to me prior to installation.

      I acknowledge that I approved the initiation of the project, but I never saw the design of the solar array before they installed it (I only saw total output). I could not see it on their application and the installation team did not show me their plan prior to installing it (which, again, violates their policy). The installation team did, however, agree with me that the panels were poorly arranged due to angle of roof surface and shade on the lowest surface.


      Their poor design (placing panels in shade) resulted in me paying for more panels than necessary to achieve my electric capacity needs. If they can make it right, I'd rather they take back their panels and fix my roof. I have purposely stopped the process as soon as possible so the array is not yet operational. 

      The salesperson advised me that the reduction in efficiency from being placed in the shade resulted in over 2 panels' worth of electricity. In order to compensate for the design, and to compensate for the extra cost of the inefficient panels I had to purchase, two free panels is unacceptable. As i stated to Powur, I might consider four panels, but even that is a compromise on my part.

      Purchased a new solar system from Powur. I paid in full for the system around December 28, 2024. The system was sold as a complete turn key package. After original installation they realized several missing components and a required panel upgrade that wasnt disclosed in the original agreement. They installed the electric meter in a location not compliant with village code and had to relocate my AC condenser. As of September 10, 2024 the system still doesnt work. It has faults and the contractor keeps showing up unexpectedly for hours at a time.

      I bought a solar system from this company a couple of years ago, I have had nothing but issues with the entire thing. It seems that my panels are down more than they are working and I have had to pay for them to send service technicians to replace fuses that have blown and shut the system down completely. The first time was Nov 2023, next was Jun 2024, and the last time was Aug 2024. As of the last visit my system is completely turned off because it was found that the original installers did it improperly. The fuses and the box were too small to handle the power being produced and I need a bigger fuse box and larger fuses. I submitted my electric bills to them for reimbursement and got denied, Im a 100% disabled vet on a fixed income. Also, they did a roof inspection before installing (I have the report) and said everything was good and I didnt need a new roof (could have been rolled in with the financing) and now I had to file a claim with my insurance for my roof. I cant get up there to look so I had to go with what they said. I filed a BBB complaint on this same company right after installation. I am also being told by the service tech that there are wires hanging down from the panels and touching my roof and that could be very dangerous, which I also know from being a Deputy Fire Marshal in the past. What they did is dangerous and placed myself and my family in a dangerous life and death situation. They are refusing to reimburse me for my electric bills as well.

      My name is *********** ******* and I filed this complaint about Powur.  This matter is not closed at all, I only received the message that stated you were gonna close the complaint, nothing else.  This company has refused to refund my wife and I for 3 electric bills that we submitted to them for the months that our system was shut down do to originally installation mistakes that were made by the company they contract with to do the installations.  They did come out and replace my fuse box and installed a larger one with larger capacity one and larger fuses which should have been done with the original installation.  The company they contracted with, *********, came out on 16 Sept 2024 to do  the installation, did not come with any materials needed to do the installation and had to go to the store.  I live 20 minutes from Lowes and it took  them over 2 hours to return to the job site.  I contacted Powur through the online chat,  which is the ONLY way to communicate with them, to express my displeasure with the fact they didn't come prepared and I was waiting over 2 hours for them to return.  I questioned the professionalism of this company for sending a crew to do a specific installation without what they needed.  This company even did the same thing twice when they were called out to change fuses and even had to leave the job site to purchase fuses. The Techs finally returned and completed the job.  The following evening at 7:24 pm, I received a text from the technician that did the job  "I appreciate your concern with my professionalism  I hope your system is up and running the way it should be".  This is a stranger that knows where I live and  upset that I expressed my displeasure to Powur,  I am now concerned for the safety of my family.  The job was completed and there was absolutely no reason for him to contact me the next day.

      I would also like to request a phone call from upper management of this company so I can discuss all of the situations I have had to deal with concerning the system their company designed and installed for me.  This request is being made because there is absolutely no way to contact an actual individual to discuss this with.  I am a 100% disabled vet and have problems with just sending messages in an online chat.

      Informed by SCE ***************** my 2nd service acct# ********** is not on PTO. The only PTO on file is service acct# ********** for project id# NST ******. I have been told they are working on this since September of 2023. i have been paying SCE bills on 2nd service acct. Now my Solar Edge App reflects i am not getting any *********** since May 2024. i am paying for my Solar in monthly installments and my SCE bills. i have not rec'd any results from the mail or powur chats. i need this resolved asap!!!

      As of this morning I have not been contacted at my workplace # ******************. I hope they are not trying to contact me via my mobile as I do not have access to my cell during my work hours. Please expedite the technician. This has been very costly to us this past year with no solutions. This month I had to pay my Solar installment of $253.11 plus ********************* apx $390 and Powur Technician cost $250. This has been a nightmare and very costly to us.

      Powur solar company installed solar panels on my roof and it has not been working as it should. My roof is more then 20 years old and did not do the proper inspection there for are leaks that I had to patch up. The monthly payment is about $185. I was still paying in electricity $100 -300 in a month. The equipment was not working as promised.

      We apologize as our initial response failed to cover both items you brought to our attention,

      On the ticket you had with our Operations and ********************** on April 5th,  you were offered the resolution below and you declined on April 11th. 

      The initial design did not properly account for shading at your site properly. Since a design mistake took place Powur would like to offer you up to $****to remove the trees.... Removing the trees marked ... will allow the system to produce the proposed production. We will issue a reimbursement payment to you once the trees have been removed and invoices are shared with the tree removal company. Please confirm if you would like to move forward with this plan.

      2.  The second issue is that your roof is in poor condition and during our site survey they should have recommended replacing the roof before installing solar. We are willing to cover the cost of removing the system and reinstalling the system, a $****if you are willing to cover the cost of replacing your roof. Please confirm if you would like to move forward with this solution.

      I bought solar system from powur solar company they promised me that i would get nem 1 but in fact when i looked at my bill theyre saying i have nem 2, which gives me less for the electricity that ny panels create i tried unsuccessfully to contact them

We always seek to provide world-class service to all our customers, and we regret to hear that your experience has been less than stellar. Upon review, we believe there must be a misunderstanding because *********************** Metering 1.0 (*** 1.0) program expired on June 30, 2017 and has not been available since that time. This project Net Metering application was submitted for a newly built home before the *** 3.0 deadline of April 14th, 2023, and therefore qualified for the *** 2.0 program.

      I bought the home solar system from Powur , it doesnt perform like they promised, I still have a high electricity bill plus the payment of the system. They involved people based on lies.
