      On 11/9/23, I had a conference call with our TriNet Rep and my HR Manager confirming our letter sent to TriNet in October 2023 terming services, effective January **** for customer service and better strategic alignment with a new provider. At that point the TriNet Rep threatened my company with an early termination fees because we pay bimonthly and our new provider will be processing our 1/15/24 paycheck of the *** 12/31/23, because services will be terminated with TriNet, effective 1/1/24.We are remaining a TriNet customer for Payroll and HR thru 12/31/23. The contract with TriNet does not require us to accrue fees for TriNet for services they have not performed. Nowhere in the written contract does it state we have to pay them for services following termination. The TriNet Rep told me I would have to pay the *** 12/31/23 on 12/29/23 in advance, creating a punitive financial impact to our company and this is not required in our contract.Our TriNet Rep sent my company's executive team a written email via TriNet's connect360 email address falsely stating we submitted a written statement on 11/9/23 (after the call concluded) requesting a termination date of 12/15/23. No request, written or otherwise, was ever sent stating or requesting this. TriNet rep had this sent after I refused her threats of charging us an early termination penalty approximately double the fee just to process the payroll in the first place. The email was misleading and false, and I don't appreciate my company being treated like this or threatened financially, after being a customer for three years and complying with the written terms of the contract.I have retained the 11/9/23 email from TriNet and our letter to TriNet in October terming, effective 1/1/24. I have withheld publishing documents to keep the names confidential.The resolution I want is a written apology for making false statements and no penalties, allowing us to process payroll with our new provider, starting 1/1/24.

      Trinet uses non-transparent fees to grossly overcharge it's customers. My monthly service fee has more than doubled in 3 years from $500 per month to $1100 per month. My worker's compensation insurance has increased to $1400 per month per employee when the maximum payout is $1099 per week--most companies have a maximum salary when calculating worker's compensation insurance. My medical insurance premiums went from $48,000 per year to $150,000 per year--a direct violation of the affordable cares act.

      *********************************** has been in communication with several members of our team, including our President and CEO, and TriNet has reviewed with him the pricing structure, the services he is paying for, and the transparency of our fees. As he has received the agreed-upon services, and paid the agreed-upon charges, we are unable to issue him a refund. Furthermore, throughout the entirety of this relationship *********************************** has been and remains free to terminate his agreement with TriNet at any time without penalty.

      My former employer used Trinet for payroll services. In the year of 2019, Trinet withheld an excess amount of $5248 on my social security tax. When I talked with Trinet on this issue, Trinet refused to reimburse me the excess tax and ask me to file a form 843 to IRS in order to get back the money.Although as IRS's website suggested, a statement from Trinet is necessary to confirm that I didn't receive any reimbursement from Trinet, Trinet refused to provide such statement. They asked me to file the form without such statement.After years of back and forth with IRS and Trinet, I found that IRS could not process the refund without Trinet's statement and Trinet always refused to reimburse me or provide me a statement that they didn't reimburse me anything.I'm filing this complaint to get a reimbursement of $5248 from Trinet.

      We submitted an inquiry to Trinet (zenefits) about a for we received from the **** This is due to credits/taxes based on COVID leave. We submitted six weeks prior to the due date, 10/11/2023, and never heard back. I had to submit another inquiry and was contacted by a specialist that our inquiry was escalated. I received an email from the same specialist on 10/9 that my inquiry was escalated to her supervisor. We have not heard from Trinet as of this submission.This is a regular occurrence when we inquire about IRS/tax related matters.

      Trinet is a 3mployee management company. i worked for a company that Trinet profived payroll and all other employee/employer services. I left the company *************** of which Trinet managed their business. I aske that O receive a termination letter an the end of my employment. i did not get this. i then find out they removed my email address form my profile and added someone elses from the company their email to my personal file. this file contained my person information, social security, OB family information. I asked Trinet to remove this and deactivate my account as I was no longer employed with 828, they did not do this it has been almost two months now since I have made this request. The response was they sent my letter the email address theystated is the email address of rdean@828productions who is another employer in the company not my email address ******************* which is what is on my profile and my account. this s clear violation of my privacy. trinet ha not responded to me numerous calls nor email.I want my personal information removed from rdean email address as this is not my email address and this is what they have on my file.

      My company does not do or have business with TriNet now or in the near future. I did not sign up for any email communication subscriptions and am unable to unsubscribe. The verbiage on their email states, "Please note that you cannot opt-out of an email that is required to provide you information about your relationship with TriNet. To update the types of communications you receive from TriNet, including opting out of all non-operational email communications, click here to visit the TriNet ******************************** Or you can mail your unsubscribe request to: TriNet, **************************************************." The "click here" link takes you to a login page which forces you to enter an email, retrieve a passcode and then allow you to "opt out" of any communication. It is very frustrating to have a business sign you up for email communications that I did not opt in for, in addition, I should not be required to jump through hoops to unsubscribe especially for something I didn't subscribe to in the first place. I do not appreciate TriNet's tactics and would like for them to stop calling our office as well.

      We use Trinet as our PEO and have been attempting to file for our ERTC credit. After almost a year of back and forth with reports, Trinet still has not filed on our behalf and has continually changed their submission schedule of filing. Also, after telling us we had submitted all the info we needed to give them, they then ask for more information. Their response has been extremely slow.

      Both my current and former employer use TriNet as their PEO. So legally I am an employee of TriNet. However I now have two 401Ks with TriNet one associated with my current employer and the other with my former employer. My former employer's 401K is now charging me very steep monthly fees. Because I am an employee of TriNet I cannot rollover that 401K. My only option is to merge it with my new 401K so that I can avoid the steep fees. I have been asking TriNet and Empower to complete the rollover for the past 5 months and they have yet to do it. They continue to say it's "in progress" and that it will be done in the next 3-5 business days. As a result I have been locked into a 401K that now charges very high fees and I am unable to get out.

      The issue has not been resolved. I still have not been able to combine my two TriNet 401Ks and I'm being charged extremely high fees on one of them. Empower continues to say TriNet's policy will not allow it. TriNet continues to share inaccurate information about the status of the rollover.

      Trinet HR was hired by my previous employer to manage their payroll. In December 2022 I was laid off. Immediately I contacted Trinet as they are responsible for handling unemployment questions & providing me the information to file for unemployment in WA. The agent forwarded my request on to their ************** and I was emailed a FL Trinet address to use as my "employers" address to file. I then filed using this information. Weeks went by & WA state still hadn't processed my claim so I gave them a ring. I was informed no wages had been filed for me at all in WA state in 2022. Called Trinet again and received the same answer/address.Back and forth between WA **************************** for the next 2 months, one blaming the other. Multiple case numbers & calls to Trinet who claimed they had done everything right. After requesting supervisors & continued persistence, I found out in March (now it's been 3 months) that Trinet had not infact ever reported my wages to the state of WA. They had been processing my payroll since June of 2022 & had never reported any of my income, or paid any of the taxes, they were withholding from my paychecks. Legally now they are 6 months late on these reportings. Needless to say this has made it impossible for me to collect unemployment. As WA state has no record or my hours/wages since Trinet never reported them. As it's a very tough job market, I've gone without the unemployment I'm entitled to for the past 4 months due to Trinet. I can't pay my rent & massive debt without unemployment that I paid into & have listed on my Trinet stubs. Trinet also issued me a 2022 W-2 without ever paying the taxes or reporting.Even after them finally admitting the fraud in the beginning of March they still have not reported my wages as of April 11th. Now when I call I get a customer service agent (who is unable to help) the case numbers I create won't even get me a call back from anyone. My guess is they're worried about their obvious *********************

      I was covered under my wifes insurance. We received our tax forms from TriNet and have been chasing TriNet for about 3 months now to get our 1095B fixed. TriNet seems to have a lot of internal miscommunication. Every rep I have talked to has been less than helpful, even after confirming that they have indeed made a mistake. The attitude of the csrs is unreal and quite combative. Apparently talking to me about my insurance is a phi concern, what the actual eff. *** had multiple reps hang up on me and try to pass the buck to the insurance company. Id really like to escalate the issue as there seems to be a training issue with trinets CSRs as well as their internal handling of data and data corrections.
