Hello,I'm grateful and 100% happy that my experience with ****** from the *********** office met all of my expectations. His company made the process smooth & easy for my wife and I. Semper Solaris did my Roof, Solar, and thankfully my Battery Storage. I'm glad that ****** made a strong case to add the Tesla Powerwall to my order. I live in PGE land and have experienced three outages since installation. I've provided 3 referrals to my consultant because I high recommend him and his company.

This company was recommended by my wife's brother. We wanted just a solar roof installation; however, they said they had to replace our roof because it would not support the solar panels. We ended up buying both a new roof and the solar system. After numerous delays, the project was finished after 8 months. They said it would take about 3 months but they forgot about coming back to finish up so it took longer. They also bungled the wiring from the air conditioning condensers so only 1 out of 2 worked. They had to come back and fix that issue which took over 2 weeks. Then after the heavy rains, our roof had some leaks which I reported to them. Again it took them 3 months for them to come and fix the leaks. In the meantime, my house remodeled was delayed for another month due to the fact they did not come to fix the leak right away. Also, when I did have a scheduled appointment, no one showed up and they never called to tell me that it would be delayed again. I do not recommend using this company for roofing or solar panel installations. They have a very poor service history.

terrible customer service! i had to fight to get my solar inststalled and operating, not to mention the new roof they installed leaked the first day it rained.my first system of 23 panels took almost a year to install. after about 3 years I had them install 9 more panels, those took roughly 7 months to install! After the 9 panels were installed my 23 panels stopped working. my phone calls and text were ignored! I was finally able to find someone to speak with only after visiting every social media account they have. Its back on now, just be ready to fight this awful company! Stay away from Semper Solaris!!!

My roof has given me constant leak problems and is only 5 years old Semper subcontract their roof jobs to others and the quality is suspect. The latest issue is to replace all the ridge shingles because of water damage to my ceilings. Now they will not reply to any service requests despite me having WARRANTY BY SEMPER SOLARIS When they did come out they damaged my gutters because they didn't use gutter protectors when placing their ladders. So I would NOT RECOMMEND Semper Solaris for roofing.

Hope you are not thinking of doing business with Semper Solaris!!! These guys do not know what they are doing. WE signed the contract in 2021 and it took them more than 1 year to get their act together to get the panels installed and get PG&E's and City's approval. Many more months to touch up where they cut into the wall for installing the battery and other equipment. And the first power outage we had during the rains, since the installation was complete, the battery did not kick in. We have been calling and messaging with no responses, except from the sales guy who sold us this contract who keeps saying he is trying to escalate it. We wanted to give our business to an organization that supports our Veterans, even though they were more expensive than other quotes. WE paid more for it and continue to pay for it in many other ways. I wish I could give a negative rating.

Had solar installed from them in 2022. During the sales quote I was told the roof is covered where the panels are installed if any damage is caused by the installation. December 31st 2022 during the crazy rain ********** has been getting I notice a leak. I contacted support and advised of the leak. Today is 03/16/2023. After numerous attempts the leak is still not fixed. Last week was advised they would not approve a reroof if I was not going to pay full price of roof. Only thing they would do is to come out and seal all the bolt ins from panels. What about the water damaged underside? I was promised I wouldnt be responsible for the roof replacement under the panels. Ive got no problems paying for my portion. I wish I wouldve gone with some other company.

Although my install experience was good, the monitoring, follow up, follow thru, repair, customer service and since of urgency is as we Marines say "Unsat" my whole system is down and has been for quite some time now. So much as to me and my wife received a $2600 bill in which we should not have to be responsible for because we have no solar power and batteries that can't be charged. In reference to my call on 3-14-2023 ref# ***** I have been trying to get some type of emergency assistance to my home, and I get nothing but hold music majority of the time. I have called trying to reach the actual technical support team, and its as if I was trying to call the President of *****************, nothing but hold music. Often I will get receptionists but they can only relay my message or try to connect me directly, but still I get nothing. I will mention that after all of my efforts, someone did come out, but he did nothing but sit in his car, check the app and tell me "one" of my panels is inoperable and needs to be replaced. This is something I could have done. Now my whole system is down due to his negligence in troubleshooting skills and since his visit no one has called me back to further troubleshoot the problem, so if and when a technician does come back out to my home, he is better prepared to repair my system. As a Marine myself I try to support my fellow Marines local businesses. But taking this personally I would suggest changing the name or changing your policy on faulty equipment failure and repair. There should be an emergency response team for situations like mine. I'm a disabled Marine vet who is on fixed income and I use all of my medical equipment daily. I can't afford to wait months for service much less years. With performance like this they deserve what we call a " Non Rec" which is short for Non Recommendation due to poor performance, reliability, and accountability.

Exceptional incompetence in project management, not listening to the customer's voice and concerns, and cost cutting (sub-contracting of work) that leads to project delays and based on other reviews likely an impact on quality too(yikes). This leaves the customer to manage the project for **********************, while being subjected to misinformation due to silos in their communication, repeated calls to customer service which abounds in mis information and resultant failure in providing a timely, professional, and well orchestrated install. They were quick to withdraw funds from my account (well before project completion- thus not abiding by their own contractual terms). They delayed acting on my project, giving me false information on having submitted my 'permission to operate' request when they hadn't, then pinned the blame on SDGE for the delay. All untruths! Once I caught on( after cross verification with SDGE), I took it upon myself to doggedly follow up until my project was complete, albeit with a 2-3 week delay. My follow up included several hours on the phone due to ******************************* ***** min long hold times, then making several trips to the location to provide photographs, readings and evidence needed for Semper to submit the application to the energy company. Shouldn't this have been done by Semper vs the customer ??It took a letter to the *** to get the promised referral bonus sent to me, as we had unfortunately trusted them with two solar installs for our family properties. Now, I have been assigned to a Corporate Accounts Executive for my concerns. She has continued to reflect the same ignorance of the customer's concerns as the rest of their agents and chooses to evade addressing the real issue. This seems to be a hallmark trait of this company.New customers, please don't be swept by the 'Veteran owned' sales pitch, the promise of superior service and be weary of the after sales lack of service. Buyer beware!!!!

Semper Solaris deserves the worst rating possible for their customer service and faulty equipment. If you are a new customer they will respond right away but after that - you are stuck in the dark. Literally. When PGE power lines went down (4 times this year) we were in the dark as if we did not just spend 30K to prevent that exact scenario.Initially it took Semper Solaris multiple visits/crews to install our batteries and the gateway. The crews mostly did not seem familiar with the Enphase product they were installing. Then it took months between diagnosing a faulty part to actually ordering it, and now they have been sitting on it for a month. We are still waiting for them to come install it and see if this whole system will actually work. All this only after we left 7 urgent messages by phone and email since there is no way to speak to an actual customer service person. Both my husband and I work from home. We are dependent on power for our livelihood and this was our solution to secure our work and income. Aside from the immense frustration of paying a lot of money for a product and service that don't work, we also lost countless days of work. Semper Solaris, as their name sake, missed the point of the US Marine's Semper Fidelis motto, being negligent and disloyal to their customers. Do yourself a good service and find a different company for your solar and battery needs.
