RLC club is an absolute joke you pay a yearly fee for the system to constantly be down, especially in crucial situations for collectors that are trying to purchase the limited edition club member only Cars. We sit in a virtual line for ***** minutes to only be kicked off. Either fix your systems or start refunding club members their fees plus the time we sit in line for nothing.

False advertising and you should 100% be sued. Been a member and collector for 35 years and yesterdays RLC release was horrible with website crashes and no one was able to order. You should be ashamed at yourself for this. We were in logged in and ready to buy but our cart kept saying empty for 20 minutes. Then it finally said sold out. Huh!? Im done! They can refund me my RLC membership and refund me all 6 of my already paid preorders along with my NFTs. Its sad what youve become. BOTS are being used to purchase multiple cars 67 in fact for one guy I saw when he posted on social media. 67 when its 10 per house hold and we didnt even get the one car we wanted all year?? Horrible!!

I joined their RLC membership at a fee in order to have opportunity to purchase Hotwheels specific RLC cars only. I got ini-dated with emails and emails for everything from Barbie to HeMan. I turn off the excess emails to ONLY get Hotwheels and still get a solicitation weekly for all other items. Today 04/11/2023 the main car, a Skyline, was released for limited members yet they failed to send this email. So car sold out immediately due to all the bots and resellers on **** that were informed in advance and allowed to setup for purchase. Hotwheels also released the units early to members at a toy show over weekend prior to the release date even though unit was not to be released until 04-11-2023.

Mattel did nothing to resolve the issue nor place any real emphasis on repairing future limited releases. Its not in their best interest to appease the end collector when the bots and resellers drive up the cost of the limited releases and sell out. If resellers were removed from all future releases and the bots stopped by using newer sales software, Mattel COULD prevent the damages to actual collectors, however they might not sell out quickly. The employees at Mattel have no authority to make things right, and if they do, unfortunately do not take ownership and accountability to do so. Since a limited amount ALWAYS remain for issues, they have some stock possible if they truly wanted to correct. They dont !

Offering and having customers pay for a membership "RLC", does not even give them access to buy limited products as advertised. The inability to manage a product release and their website demonstrates how much of this is a cash grab. Why offer a membership when you wont honor it? Nor refund it?Advertent theft is what it is.

I bought the Tiger Shark Remote Control hot wheels. Right out of the box from Christmas, it didn't even charge. ******, don't take it back to the store, call and they can help. Called and reached someone in the *********** that didn't even speak english. Was very unhappy they did NOT have a replacement. The rep ****** wanted to give me a replacement that wasn't even a RC car. Why even suggest that. Then she said we can refund you. Why? I want the***** car!! It's what I paid for! She was no help, even asked for a supervisor who was conveniently busy. She refused to send me over to ****** branch to speak to someone. Refused to send me to a lead. I said I wanted to file a complaint, she said she was the complaint department. I am very unhappy and upset on how customer service handled this. This was under the warranty department. I did not leave a good review. I would like someone to call me back and explain this to me. Why are you located in ****** and all the calls are forwarded to the *********** that don't want to help people?! Please respond. What a ruined present for my child.

Money hungry business trying to monopolize. Sad excuse for toy *******. **** advertise lower price then raise the price at checkout. They have issued multiple people refunds for the difference until I called. Apparently they stopped giving refunds. If they refunded 1 person they should refund all other customers. Not to mention they take a year to ship products. Totally unprofessional. Poor customer service.
