SCAM - I wish I had checked here before I engaged with this company. ****** learned. Basically the same story that you will read over and over. I goes like this: when you swallow the hook for the trial offer, they sign you up for a membership. $90 for a 3 oz bottle, billed over 3 months. I called to say - woah I never signed up for a subscription and they said sure you did - it was to the right of the order summary - it reads, according to the service person on the phone, by buying this trial you are subscribing to a membership. Well, I said, if I had seen that, I can ASSURE you that I wouldn't have ordered. And then, to add insult to injust, to get a refund, you have to ship AT YOUR EXPENSE the membership bottle back that you never ordered yourself. Outrageous. Started on the chat bot online - but it was infuriating and I thought surely this is an AI Bot and it's not giving me the current info... so I called. And, yes, this THIEVERY is their policy. SmileActives is a n unequivocal SCAM!!! I ordered a 1 time trial and then I started to get monthly product that did not order nor did I want as the product did nothing and a $2 bottle of peroxide would last a year and yield better results. I had to contact them numerous times to inform them that I only applied for a trial sample. Ive ship back the second bottle that I did not order at my expense and have disputed current & future purchases on credit card. In the end this a total scam and it is my fervent hope that the BBB and Class Action Lawsuit will hold them accountable. Lastly my quick return of the second delivery that I never requested they are trying to charge me for $90 for no product for 3 months! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT OR EVEN DEAL WITH THIS SCAMMER COMPANY. I have given this company a 1 as the option for a truthful assessment would be a 0!SmileActives

Per your account you initially purchased a BOGO 30-day entry kit online 3/7/24 which included a subscription. The first 90-day kit was sent 4/5/24 with cost split into 3 payments. I ordered this product after seeing it advertised for a couple of years. I diligently used it for several months twice a day for 2 minutes plus for each brushing and I saw absolutely NO difference in the color of my teeth. NONE, ZIP, ***** I never wore braces, my teeth aren't "stained" from medications or any of the other reasons they might give as to why. "I eat the blueberries, I drink the coffee", NOT TRUE. I am a coffee drinker, I don't even drink red wine. This product just does not work. DON'T spend the money. Its NOT cheap either. If I could give zero stars I would.SmileActives

This place is a scam. My comments are the same as everyone else on here giving reviews. Difficult to deal with if you want to cancel. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to cancel. And, they still charged my credit card. I called my credit card. They are currently taking care of this. Do not buy this product. They are a scam. And, they keep ripping people off. This company is a scam, stealing money from customers, I saw product on tv, and wanted to try it, went to website & ordered it only to try it, well as soon as I put my credit card information in, it said I had a subscription, so called the phone number on the site, to cancel could not get an answer, they kept adding charges to my card for product I never received I contacted my card company, they advised me to cancel my *********** would give me a new one, well then they attached my new card, I talked to my card again they worked with me to remove charges & promised me they would flag those charges, I paid for the first 3 smileactives but refused to pay for product I never got, This product was a scam & only used a small amount ***** your ************ got sensitive, now they have sent me to a collection company, people please be awareSmileActives

Now she's upset and is going to challenge it with the credit card company and we will have to be issued a new card number because of the unethical conduct of this company. This company is a scam. Our records reflect that your mother reordered smileactives on 6/21/24 with the purchase of a special Buy One Get One free off for a full-size 90-day introductory kit. At the time of an initial purchase customers are made aware of additional ******************** special offers that are available. Some offers include additional products instead of just the Pro Whitening Gel as well as an offer to upgrade to a full size 90-day supply instead of just the 30-day introductory kit. We do try to make the offers for smileactives as clear as possible and regret if it was not your mothers intent to accept the full-size kit or that she found the offer unclear in any way.
The cost of her full-size kit was split into 3 payments of $32.44 to be billed over three months. The first was charged when the order shipped. The subscription was cancelled 7/2 per her request. The order was returned to us on 7/16, at which time the balance was cleared but the refund of the initial $32.44 payment failed to post because of the payment dispute that was in process. On 7/22 your financial institution reversed the payment which we accepted without contesting as a way to issue the refund.
