      After being a patient of Gental Dental in ***** for 18+ years I had to leave the practice since their female Oral Surgeon was unable to remove implant screws that she herself put in. It was discovered that screws we're improperly set by her which created an absolute disaster and also compromised another tooth in the midst of it all. I'm in the process of seeing another dentist to help the fix what Gental Dental Tempe Oral Surgeon could not even though she created the issue.

      I have tried to contact the corporate office in California to file a complaint about the office staff at the Gentle Dental location in ********, *******. The office manager as well as one of the members of the office staff have been extremely rude in person and on the phone upon several different occasions since January of 2024 in regard to obtaining and trying to resolve a billing issue/insurance out of network issue. I have never received a call back from the corporate office to discuss this information.

      I have been with GD, **************** for many years, Ive been too lazy to leave until today. The reason is this: my temporary crown fell off and I called them Monday while they were open so I could come in and get it Re cemented. They stated they couldnt see me until late Wednesday because they were busy, they kept repeating, its a busy office, you just cant come in and expect to be seen. These are Drs, not covering an exposed root is dangerous to the tooths health, who knows what could happen in 2 days? I am offended, by their lack of concern for a patients dental needs. It was bad enough to have them constantly rescheduling and billing me more than quoted,, but not taking care of emergency dental needs has crossed a line

      BEWARE: The customer service from this office as absolutely horrendous. I received service a year and a half ago, but didn't get a bill for what my insurance didn't cover until last week. When received service I asked specifically for what my complete total would be, and was ensured by the staff that the amount I would pay would be the complete amount. That was a lie. And buried in the terms was a statement that it was simply an estimate. Time amount is only about $100, but the deception and misleading from staff is unreal. If you use their services please understand that you may be billed additional whenever they finally get around to sending you a bill.

      I was a patient at ****** Dental in *****, and I went to get some work done and the lady that handle the financial part told me that my balance left was ***** and so I got care credit and payed the balance, They made me believe that my insurance covered the rest and I ended up getting the work done. Finding out after all the work was done that I had to pay Gentle ****** over ***** dollars more. just in case if I did not mention before I have been on disability since I was 19 I get a limited amount of money each month and I would have never got the work done if I knew that I would have to pay such a largre amount of money.

      The billing and administrative staff here are horrible. They will give you one price and charge you another price later. It seems like this is not a new practice for them. Stay from this unethical place and save yourself some peace. A girl named ******* in the front office told me that they had sent a letter about the new price. This place will hike up prices and will not be transparent about the process and pricing.

      Went for Invisilign. Doctor gave me a price and I knew what insurance would cover so I knew what my portion would be. At the desk, they wanted me to pay $1,800 more than what I knew I should be paying. When I asked if they had put in my insurance, they said yes. When I said this sounds too high, more than what the dentist had told me it would cost (with my insurance) and I was told "it is what it is." I paid it because I was getting really angry with the attitude of the person I was dealing with so decided I would call after I calmed down a bit. When I called, they did a check and said the insurance # was entered incorrectly and yes, I was due $1,800 and they would have this resolved the following week. After numerous calls I was told it has to go through HQ and they would have it resolved in a few days. Followed up again and was told HQ is saying they do not give refunds. This is not a refund, they overcharged me. It's been over a month and no one will return my calls. I came on here and saw lots of complaints about the same thing. I no longer think this was a mistake. I think this is their business model. DO NOT do business with this organization.

      They are a horrible outfit they keep rescheduling all the time they don't bother telling u that they are short staffed and u have to wait for hours to be seen the back office has no clue the front office doesn't know what they are doing my appointment was for a filling and they schedule me for x rays they need to get it together they do not know what they are doing

      I wish I could do 0 stars.They try to upsell you too much, too constantly even if you ask them to stop.Also they charged my wife $79 dollars for an Xray when we clearly stated we didn't approve ANY service our insurance didn't cover.they REASSURED everything would be covered, otherwise they won't do the procedure and now we just received this statement in the mail.I should've seen the reviews before vising this place.I simply can't believe this place is still in business.EDIT:I spoke with ****, the practice manager and he said they will speak with the employee but won't write off the charge.Once you sign the "good faith estimate" you're basically agreeing to pay anything your insurance doesn't approve.This was at Gentle Dental Awhatukee.

      Didn't have a problem with the dentist but billing is a nightmare! Was told I didn't have insurance twice, which I did. They don't bill insurance at times, which I finally got straightened out. Was told my portion for oral surgery was over $800.00, which I paid, to later find out my portion was only $200.00. Its been 4 months and still waiting for my refund. 2 weeks ago I was told "The checks in the mail." Worse business practice ever!!!
