      My initial 1st visit at their ******************** ***********. 8am appointment. Dentist rushes on front door late at 810 am. Her hygienist doesn't arrive to work until 830am. Meanwhile neither of them acknowledging me after being called by to dental chair. Finally had to get up and leave. Obviously felt extremely uncomfortable with their professionalism and tge care I was about to receive. This place is ridiculous! The hygienist didn't care either. Dentist was worried she was going to be reported.

      I am sad to report that I have lost trust in this clinic I once praised. The lack of concern for my pain, the fumbling of caring for my ongoing needs, and the gaslighting of my personal health is is nothing short of obscene. Clearly this clinic does not give a rip about making sure their patients have longterm relationships and care.

      What is the culture being permeated at the Gentle Dental office located at *********************************************************************? The question is being asked based on my interactions with the dentist on October *****, 2022. The dentist attempted to file down my bridge without my permission because the lab did not make it properly.Fast forward to February 27, 2024. I was extremely disappointed when the licensed oral health professional (hygienist), did not thoroughly clean my teeth. During previous visits, the hygienist cleaned my teeth with the motivation to render exceptional care. A female assistant entered the exam room to record the numbers regarding the thickness of my gums. The hygienist said the numbers very rapidly and I never heard the clickety-click of the keyboard keys. The hygienist did not polish my teeth nor did she floss my gums. The dentist never entered the room during my visit to examine my tongue for oral cancer /abnormalities or discuss the results of my cleaning. I was told I had a credit, however, I was charged at the end of the visit. I should not have been charged because my dental insurance covered the visit. I have requested the credit in the form of a check. I was told by the business manager that she would contact the corporate office. As of this writing, I have not heard from anyone in that office regarding my refund. I will not be returning to this office.

      The switch to the new accounting software has left perplexed. I now receive 3 years of billing information with 0 credits. I believe that I have been overcharged, but it is difficult to sort it out based on the information they provide. Do not use Gentle Dental.

      I received care from Gentle Dental on 11-22-22, 12-15-22, 1-20-23 and a cleaning 2-7-23. I paid some $ and my insurance was billed. I had a cleaning on 08-08-23 at which time I was advised I had a credit from a previous payment which the insurance had covered. I was told it would be applied to the cost of the cleaning. I explained and confirmed by phone that my cleanings were always covered, not subject to the maximum benefit level. I was told they had to bill the insurance and then they would be able to determine if I had money due. October 12-'23 the insurance company had not yet been billed my Gentle Dental. October ***** I went to the office, talked to billing clerk. She told me the receptionist had misinformed me, that contrary to previous practice, they would not bill the insurance for cleaning. She indicated they would clarify with corporate and get an exception. She called in a few days to advise they were billing the insurance. On 12-5-23 my insurance paid the August cleaning charge on Nov *****. I called Gentle Dental and asked for a refund and was told it had to be referred to corporate. I have not received a refund as of 2-22-24. I attempted to call corporate but their answering system does not work. I called the local office and was told the billing clerk was not available.

      Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. I visited twice with my son for the orthodontist with the prospect of getting him braces. The first time, we had to wait an hour after our scheduled appointment before he was seen. The second time, we waited 40 minutes past our appointment and finally got up and left.The receptionist never checked on us and spent the majority of her time on the phone with some friend or family member dealing with personal issues.Please start holding businesses, especially medical-based businesses, accountable for their wasting of your time like this place wasted mine and my son's.

      Fncking garbage company. If given the opportunity to rewind time and yank my own teeth out instead I'd do that. The over charged and after THREE appointments for the same issue they still couldn't get their act together. Go somewhere else. Or, grab some pliers, rip out your own ************* wipe your a** with a twenty dollar bill. It'll be less painful, and less expensive.

      Absolute nightmare in ****, **! I had a filling done and the Dentist did such a horrible job that I had to have the tooth redone at another practice. My filling was cracked with sharp edges and I was in horrible pain for week. They charged my insurance and I had to pay $1200 out of pocket at the other dentist to fix it. I disputed my copay with my credit card company for service paid but service not rendered and won! Thankfully the new dentist took amazing pictures of the botched job and cracked tooth that I submitted ***** Zero stars if I could!

      This organization is horrible! They refuse to address a billing issue that has been ongoing for 11 months. And this if for services that were 2 and 3 years ago, which they started billing me for just this past Oct. They will not respond to calls or emails. They keep sending statements that have no useful information, such as the date of service and the service associated with the charges. Everything is generic such as "insurance adjustment". We have record of paying over $800 out-of-pocket for the services already, and then out of the blue they tried collecting an additional $787. Then in July they emailed to say they made an adjustment, so we only owe $115. Well that's cute, but we aren't paying a dime without a proper *itemized* bill. They seem to have no idea what they have charged and what they've been paid - but expect us to blindly pay more. I was a patient with them for 14 years. Never again. They clearly cannot handle basics tasks such as proper billing nor any kind of minimum efforts in customer service. The local office and the corporate office have heard from me consistently for months and no one responds.

      OUR ORTHO ORDEAL Ive never written a flaming review before. But then Ive never has such as bad experience with a doctor before. The doctor was an orthodontist at Gentle Dental in ********. Heres a summary of the 6 pages of notes that I took: 1.NOT Gentle at all lots of pain and discomfort 2.Dr. started treatment too early all baby teeth 3.Dr. caused her own delays miscalculations, poor planning & scheduling 4.Dr. and staff LIED to us 5 times about procedures and scheduling 5.Dr. made mistakes sizing the expander AND retainer -- both had to be re-ordered 6.Dr. and staff very unprofessional lacked confidence, equipment broken 7.Terrible communications no treatment plans, gave verbal instructions, ignored written feedback, cancelled appt with no warning The only good part of our experience was the technical staff. Kudos to them, at least.
