1 star* I was told not to write on the test itself before starting the exam an to use a Scranton. The Scranton and the test were different one was numbers and the other was letters. Due to this I was having trouble filing out the form. When I asked for assistance I was told it was a mistake and to just write on the paper* Staff entered the room uninvited mid exam to ask if I was ok. Not sure why staff would barge in to speak to me while Im taking a timed exam in * Staff also instructed me to bring my snacks in the room which i did. She bag I had the snacks in was searched. While I was eating my snack I wiped my hands with a napkins an the staff barged in the room scaring me telling me I cant have napkins and I had to throw it out immediately * The separate room was a break room it was cluttered with stuff, had food, books, tables , office supplies all over as well as a microwave.* Room was not sound proof had a regular door which had space on the bottom an allowed noise to enter. This was was very distracting to be in * The walls were paper thin so I could hear staff speaking with every single Person who came into the waiting room. ** also hear staff on the phone. The clutter alone was unsettling and distracting. There was a computer on the desk I was told to use so I didnt get much space to spread out and and had to test around the computer* There was a window in the office I was in. The window itself was closed but the blinds did not close and the outside was distracting. The windowwas positioned right in front of the desk I was testing at and the desk was against the wall. The street the resting center on is a highway so you can hear cars speeding, honking and music coming from the cars* I asked for earplugs she told me this was not an option.* I was told after the fact I should have got a survey to fill out after exam about my experience I was never given a survey.Review fromGeordon G

1 starscam - horrible call center - hung up on I was unable to print my certificate, and referred to the email that is sent to tell you what is needed to move forward. it states nowhere the certificate cannot be digital, and so i proceeded. only to find out it must be a physical copy upon entering the test.I called in to request a rescheduling at no fee, as i did all my due dilligence before hand and would have taken my loss if stated, in any way, that certificate must be printed.after being transferred, put on "hold" for a supervisor for 15 minutes. came back and let me know supervisor was busy. i stated i would be happy to wait. after another 15 minutes, "****" the supervisor comes on and explains to me that;"the email clearly states you must refer to the handbook"I asked where it said that, because it doesnt. he hung up on me at 58 minutes on the phone. here is the email where it refers to "handbook" at all Mandatory Identification:-At least one form of identification is required. It must be valid, government-issued, photo-bearing, and match the name used to register. Please refer to the candidate handbook for more information on ID requirements.-Some acceptable forms of identification include: driver's license, identity card, passport, passport card, military ID (except for online proctored tests), or immigrant status ******* clearly states to refer for ID requirements, which i had no issue with.Review fromMegan M

1 starI was supposed to take an exam through PSI online with live proctoring. The exam never loaded. The exam was scheduled for 4pm. I started loading the exam at 3:50. At 4:10 I submitted a ticket and started searching for a phone number to call. I finally found a trouble shooting option and attempted to restart the exam and it still didnt work. It was now 4:15 and past the allowed time to start the exam late. I had been sitting there for 25 minutes trying to load the exam. I finally found a phone number to call and was told I would have to reschedule the exam and pay another fee. I told them that was bs because it was not my fault the exam didnt load. They asked me to call back in ***** hours so they could investigate the issue. Today they told me I still had to pay for a new exam because their end showed that I never completed all of the system checks and didnt submit a ticket for the issue. I told them I did submit a ticket but was never sent a confirmation number, I also told them I hadnt been able to log in properly when I tried through their website and that when I clicked the reset password button I never got an email despite them having my correct email on file, I also told them that the exam never gave me an option for system checks it just kept telling me to wait while the exam loaded. I said if they couldnt waive the fee for retaking the exam then they should refund me the fee for the initial exam because I didnt get to take it. She kept telling me that wasnt possible so for once in my life I asked for a manager who I am now stuck waiting to get a call from. 1 starThis company is absolute trash. I paid $269 to take the **** exam. The ******* stated they thought the expiration date on my driver license was hard to read when I held it up to the camera for the pre-exam checks and to submit a pic (even though I had already submitted a clear visible copy that the ******* could see when I pre-registered in mid-November.) The ******* then immediately cut the connection for the test before I could even respond. The kicker is...... this ******* intentionally blocked my access to take the test based on my computer's IP address. I was unable to comply with their request to upload a new DL pic or even reenter the testing website. I called the customer ********************** for *** and was jerked around for over 90 minutes. Initially I was told that my session was cut because I had an expired driver license. I told the *** that my license is good thru 2029 and I had uploaded a pic that clearly showed this. I was then transferred to "technical service" who told me the first *** was lying and it was my computer malfunctioning, not anything on their part and that they would never block someone from taking a test. After 90 minutes of the tech *** asking me to remove all my computer firewalls and antivirus software and let him have unrestricted access to my computer, he said "we'll open a ticket and get back to you later." I spent 2 months studying for this exam and paid $269 to not have to opportunity to take it. After I got off the phone with ***, I reenabled my anti-virus and for good measure turned on my ***. Amazingly, as soon as the *** came on and assigned a random IP address to my computer, I could access my **** and *** account (though I couldn't take the test as it was past the proctored time.) So, the *** ******* terminated my exam link prior to the test and blocked my IP address so there was no way I could log back in, while then asking to have unvetted access to my computer with the anti-virus and firewalls disabled.Review fromAmanda B

1 starI was sent to ************************** to ******* my licensure exam. The map provided was not accurately reflected through ***'s website/directions (placing the address in the middle of an undeveloped area with no buildings) and I went to *** directly for help finding the location thinking I was completely lost. I live in a frontier area and have to drive from several hours away to reach a testing center. Ergo, I am not familiar with the area. Staff at *** told me that the college doesn't do any proctoring, and aparently other people have shown up there with the exact same problem. I called the test taker support line and they told me they would call me back within 2 hours (AFTER my scheduled test period). Not only did they not call me back, but they will not reschedule me because the "address provided was correct" despite their directions to the location being entirely ambiguous. After this, I have sense discovered the actual location and called PSI to notify them that the information they distribute needs to be corrected. I was completely dismissed. For anyone else who may have the unfortunate luck of getting scheduled at ***, please be aware that the test location is actually "TrainND Northwest". They are a seperate subsidiary of *** with their own Foundation and ***************Review fromCorey P

1 starI applied online for a tattoo license. The state of Virginia requires you to take a theory test through PSI. I have had THE WORST experience with these people just to get scheduled for my exam. You get the runaround and have to wait 5-6 days for a response back from anyone. And usually when you do its because youre missing some random paperwork (that they never asked for in the beginning). This is all a huge waste of my time and when you speak to someone in customer ********************** to escalate your situation, they barely speak English. ****************Review fromSean D

1 starDoor locked at test center, 10 people waiting outside. We get a call 10 minutes AFTER the test was supposed to start they are canceling.... I booked out a month in advance!? 1 starIf I could give *** and their companies a 0 star review, I would. I have been trying to get a state exam taken for months now...they have been conflicting in their information. Their follow up seems to have been outsourced and the individuals who are charged with following up and resolving the problems have broken English and are hard to communicate with.If I had a choice to employ PSI, I would not. If I could fire them, I would. They seem to have a monopoly on this testing space - I think it's time for some competition to clean their mess ****** I get to restart a several month long process to re-attempt to get this test taken. 1 starI was scheduled for my state exam for life health accident producer could not get logged in for the exam called support that was no help support tec could barely speak English would not transfer me to a supervisor so now I am just out the exam fee I have a screen shot of the bridge secure browser stating this session has been completed for the test contact PSI support,,,,, I dont understand how PSI is still ripping people off after reading the reviews obviously there needs to be something done definitely looks like a total scam anyone having issues feel free to contact me I will be seeking legal counsel to stop these scammers Keithdowland1gmailReview fromMonique M

1 starI arrived at the location 40 minutes prior to my testing which was at 12pm CST. I entered the building at 11:45pm CST. I was advised without so much as a look to obtain a number and sit down. I obtained the number and promptly sat down with two additional ladies. The facility was not clean and there was only one representative working at the time named ***. *** took over 20 minutes before she called my number in which additional ladies appeared studying for their medical assistant license. There were six ladies, not including myself. I did take a picture of the license plate numbers in the event that I have to file a legal complaint and require witnesses. I was the third ****** to be called as I had pulled number 7. I proceeded to stand up with only my keys and my drivers license on my ****** at the time. I stood in front of the lady and she advised that I would have to remove my turban from my head to proceed with testing. I had checked the candidate guidebook prior to coming and it advised we were unable to wear a hat. A turban is not considered a hat, it is a religious garment that in the state of ******** is observed as such. I advised her that I was unable to remove my turban in a public setting especially with other people in the room. *** proceeded to tell me that I could not test unless I removed my turban and even mentioned that I did not tie my turban right in the first place. I have never in my time of being a litigation adjuster been so disrespected, overlooked, and discriminated against because I choose to wear a turban in public for my religious/spiritual beliefs. I requested her name as well as her supervisor's name. She refused to provide me with her full name and refused to provide me with her supervisor's name and advised that I should contact ***. I was unable to take the other ladies' information down and asked to leave. I was unable to take my test or do anything aside from show her my drivers license.
