BEWARE if you're a woman going there by yourself - Not from people who have their storage units there, from the "Manager," ****** I believe his name is. Tall, older, skinny, mustache. Lets just say, he's not very professional and totally creeped out my girlfriend when she was at the facility by herself. He kept making his way to the 3rd floor randomly as she was there by herself, he admittedly said he shut the security cameras off randomly. When she returned a day later, who came up to the 3rd floor, yup, him! He made it a point to come try talking to her - then he saw me inside the unit and his entire demeanor changed. She went downstairs to load stuff in her vehicle and he approached her there again and told her she had until 5PM to get stuff out of the unit (Day before he said she had until 9PM Sunday) - This was at 3:45 on Saturday. Would be interested to see if he's on any "lists" - she's not one to get uneasy, but, this fella really made her creeped out.

He begs for positive reviews as well because "he's gotten negative ones." Don't be a creep and you won't have to beg buddy.

***Update - 20 minutes after leaving a negative ****** review, the manager, ******, called my girlfriend threatening her to take down her negative review - This is who they employ!

I've had a storage unit with this Puyallup location at one time or another for the past 12 years! The old company owners were GREAT! IT USED TO BE AFFORDABLE! In fact THE CHEAPEST IN TOWN! Now that public storage the corporate took over , They raise the rent Alot every 6months! My rent is due to increase $50 again in the first. W. $45 late fee if I'm late. I have 2 (10x10) units currently w out the raise almost $400 a month. One of my units was broken into and I have not seen a ***** or any of my stuff back. It's been two years. Someone that was moving out decided to break my lock and take a few loads of my things w them.(on camera!!!) I have filed a police report, I have insurance but some how my stuff was still not safe. Or replaced. And they just want more and more money. I miss the old owner! There has got to be a cap or rent for storage!!! Oh and no one is in the office when you need them! All the bathroom are broke gross and out of order! Come on!

Called the Public Storage location on 9/13/2022, Located at ********************************************. I spoke to *******, and explained to her that I am retired and living on my Social Security check. I received a noticed that my rent had increased by approximately $60.00. Explained to her that I just couldn't afford the increase. My electric bill increased also approximately $65.00. She understood my problem and was very kind and had me hold to see if she could do anything to reduce my rent. ******* came back and told me not to worry, that she was able remove the increase. She was so understanding and helped me feel good about Public Storage and the kindness of ******* brought tears to my eyes. Wish there were more people like *******.

Good Day, I really don't want to be writing this but I was mislead. I really don't think it was on purpose by the employees but nonetheless. I called customer service two weeks ago to inform that I planned to check out on Sep 3rd 2022 and asked them if I needed to check out prior to the 3rd and if yes I can accommodate that. I was informed that as long as I check out no later than the 3rd that I could be provided a credit because I my storage rental started on 7/22/22. When I checked out today (Sept 3rd) I was informed that I could not receive a credit because it's after Sept 1st and my only option is that I can stay in the storage for the month but I was out luck. I had already cleared my things out. I feel as if I was either mistakenly informed or it was a bait and switch to get me to keep the storage until after the 1st of the month. I would like to think this was a mistake but it was a costly mistake for me the consumer. Per the policy that customers to not receive until after they've signed states the following "2.1.1 Due Date. Your Monthly Rent for each month is due on the first day of that month. If your Rental Date is not the first day of the month, you will pay the full Monthly Rent on or before the Rental Date and that payment will cover the first 30 days of occupancy in Your Space (but not beyond the last day of the second month). For any balance of the second month, you will pay one thirtieth of your Monthly Rent for each remaining day in the second month, but not to total more than the Monthly Rent (e.g., if your Rental Date is March 15, your first payment will cover your rental through April 13, and your second payment (due April 1) will be 1/30th of your Monthly Rent multiplied by the 17 days remaining in April. I fall into this scenario, was charged the full months rent although my rental started on 7/22. ************ explained that I would be due a credit but that didn't happen and was told that I was out of luck.

have been with Public storage on Bonita springs fl for a year ,, a last month just one Payment l could not make, because my son had Covid so I was unable to work,,, I called to see if I could make an arrangement, they said no. I'm a single mom and teacher who fell on hardship only missing 1 payment and they sold my things off to auction!! I feel hurt because I felt like I was put in a situation that it was my fault my son fell sick. ,I'm so tired of large companies like Public storage who take from the small hardworking people,,, it was just one payment. I will never suggest anyone to use a company like Public storage because they will take your money with the very small space and the large fees, but when you fall on hard times, they will never look at u as a customer.

I opted out of the insurance program because my items are low-value, and I have home insurance. Rep assured me of no charge, and the agreement was $53. monthly. For the next 3 months, I was charged $70, which included insurance. I hope I never need their service again and will vacate immediately.

ROACHES, ROACHES ROACHES. I recently vacated the public storage in Hillside NJ and when I went to get my stuff, the movers discovered over 200 roaches in my unit. My stuff was there for less there for just over 30 days and became infested with roaches. I have been told multiple times that the property manager and district manager will call me back with no response or help. I have had to come out of pocket hundreds of dollars to get exterminators along with it delayed my move by hours (billed at $200 an/hour). We had to get roach bombs and bomb everything in the truck to get my stuff out of the unit and hopefully not bring roaches into our brand new house (unsuccessful). Since no one local was getting back to me, I tried calling corporate to get this resolved without bringing online in which I was told "too bad. You signed a contract that you store at your own risk." All I am asking for is a refund on my money to help me cover these unexpected upfront costs that I have had to come out of pocket for. The only assistance I can get is being told to call a "we care" phone number. This does not seem like a company that cares.

Really a negative 10. Makes you purchase insurance. Then cuts your lock and steals from your unit puts their own lick and that makes it secure so they don't pay out anything when your stuff is gone. Moved from that storage only to have oklahoma storage sell to them. Now can't get into storage because no one is here. I had 24 hour access but no one here and I can't get in. My work material is in there. Worst place ever. Terrible customer service , locking me out when my payments are current.
