      They lie to you about the prices and when you call them they act like they dont care. I wish I would have never picked them to put my stuff in their units I would have given them a zero but it wouldnt let me .im gonna have to move my stuff because I cant afford what they are asking me to pay every month

      **** AND CHANNING IS A JOKE ! I HAD A STORAGE UNIT ON ********************************************, AND MY STORAGE WAS BROKEN INTO AROUND CHRISTMAS, A LADY CALLED ME LETTING ME KNOW I OWED A PAYMENT I EXPLAINED TO HER IN JAN WHAT HAPPENED SHE SAID SHE WILL FORWARD THE ISSUE TO HER DISTRICT MANAGER, A WEEK LATER THE LADY CALLED ME BACK AND WAS LIKE LATE FEE WAS GOING TO BE ADDED I TOLD HER I STILL HAVENT HEARD FROM THE DISTRICT MANAGER AND SHE WAS LIKE I FOLLOW UP WITH HER AGAIN BUT SHE GAVE ME THE DISTRICT MANAGER CONTACT INFORMATION, FAST FORWARD THE LADY CALLED ME BACK AND TOLD ME NOW MY ITEMS IN AUCTION AND I STILL HAVENT HER FROM THE D.MANAGER AND I DONT KNOW WHATS LEFT, SO I CAME TO THE LOCATION AND A *** SHOWED ME MY UNIT AND WHAT WAS LEFT , BUT I STILL HAVENT HEARD FROM THE D.MANAGE AND AUCTION WAS 2/24 SO NOW I POPPED UP AT THE LOCATION 02/22 AND THE I WALKED TO THE BACK BECAUSE I SEEN THE *** THAT SHOWED ME MY UNIT, SO IM TALKING TO HIM BUT HIS ATTITUDE IS DIFFERENT SO I SEE A LITTLE LADY SITTING ON THE ***** NOT MAKING ANY CONTACT WITH ME, COME TO FIND OUT THATS **** THE D.MANAGER WOULDNT KNOWN THAT UNTIL THE *** SAID SOMETHING , SHE IS VER PROFESSIONAL RUDE AND SHE KEPT SAYING BRO I BEEN BUSY I HAVE OVER 100 EMAILS AND THE BRO PART REALLY MADE ME MAD BECAUSE YOU ARE STEROTYPING , BUT SHE REALLY DIDNT WANT ME TO KNOW WHO SHE WAS SO SHE CURSED A LITTLE BIT TRYING TO JOKE BECAUSE FOR MONTHS SHE BEEN DODGING ME , BUT **** IS NOT MANAGER MATERIAL SHE DOESNT HANDLE CUSTOMER ISSUES AND THE *** IS HER PUPPET HE NOT GOOD EITHER. SO I STORMED OUT THE OFFICE UPSET BECAUSE SHE WAS RUDE AND STAYED IN MY CAR FOR ABOUT 10 MINS TO GATHER MY THOUGHTS AND I DROVE OFF, THEN SHE SAID THE CAMERAS DONT WORK SHE CAME UP WITH ALL TYPE OF EXCUSE BUT SHE REALLY WANTED MY ITEMS TO SALE IN AUCTION TO GET RID OF ME AND ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW UP WITH ME.

      RATS, RATS and MORE RATS, if I was able to leave zero stars, I would. We trusted this place, with ALL of our belongings, clothes, furniture, food, memories, photos, EVERYTHING, while we renovate our home. We just found SO MUCH DESTRUCTION, its mind blowing, we have photos and videos as proof. We also spoke to another storage renter, close to our unit, and they also had damage, they even lost their children clothes because the rats made a nest in them. We will be alerting the Department of Health as well.

      Employees run an inside scam where they switch unit # plates on units in good standing with valuable items for number plates on derelect units then notify accomplices to bid on your unit, there by stealing your stuff. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this happen. We can unite in a class action suit to get justice. The only reason I left one star rating is because I have to rate something to leave this review.

      This place sucks- go elsewhere- they quote one price during reservation then we and then when you actually move your stuff in they bill a whole different higher price And I was 7 days late and charge $24 and none of the workers would waive it and they took away my access to my storage then the following month I called to see if I could get it waive and she told me she would consider waiving if I pay my current charges so I did and the late fee still showing past due so if you like outrageous late fees- high storage ************* then this is the place for you

      I moved in for $1 I wasn't aware the 9 days remaining after the month was up were suppose to be paid before the 1st so I went to my unit 10 days after my month was up to find out I wasnt able to get in the gate so I called n called n called never got an answer so I went there and went thru the gate that was open and I seen an employee talking to my neighbor across from my unit the employee didn't speak nor did I but 1 hr later she came by I was on a phone call she rudely interrupted and asked me how did I get in the gate with attitude I said I went thru when it was open. She then began to become even more rude and demanding I leave and I need to go to the office and pay what I owe and Everytime I tried to say something she would cut me off and repeat those same words so she finally left I then called her in the office I tried to explain how I didnt know about the 9 days of payment needed to be paid s she Immediately cut me off and said I told u to come to the office I responded with I dont know what your problem is with me but you started out being rude when u approached me and now your continuing to be rude she hung up. I went to the office and she was no help I asked her what happen to my refund for paying for 2 locks she could not show me it she said I got it refunded I said show me where it was refunded she changed the subject I then asked if I move out now how much do I owe oh you need to pay for the 9 days plus all of Feb and 2 late fees and a lien fee and I was only 14 days without paying. She wouldn't answer me then she said I'm not allowed to be there until I pay in full so I have no access to my unit all month but they want me to pay for the month? A so called manager called me acting like she knew nothing about none of this but she lied she was calling to get Info and never called me back like she said . This place is a joke, scam, rude and not a good ethnical place at all..

      I tried to move out on 02/28/25 but one of the elevators was broken (not working) and no carts were available. I came back again on 03/02/25 and the one elevator still wasnt working and no carts available again. I went again on 03/03/25 and found one cart available and the same elevator still out of commission. The other elevator was completely full and hadnt been emptied. I was charged the full months rent for March even though there was no equipment available and the elevator was broken for at least 4 days (but somehow that is my issue). Additionally, they just raised the rate almost $18.00/month (a 26% increase) and yet I was told that is the going market rate. I think they must base their business model on pay day loan companies. I visited the site the last two days and asked for the manager to call me (Sandreen). I have yet to hear from her or the district manager. I certainly hope they use the customers monthly increase for security guards, more cameras and infrastructure repair. Terrible customer service and I will ensure I tell everyone I know about this experience.

      Public Storage is advising that they will be charging me a full months of rent when I was moved out by the 1st. The Representative that I spoke with said they would be sending the account to collections and that I must pay even though I have moved out. This is very distasteful and unprofessional. I have dealt with other companies and was never charged a full months of rent when moving out. They also went up on my rent after 2 months. I would not recommend renting with this business they have some shady business practices.

      I moved out of unit by 2nd of month. They are still charging 30 days rent. Still have my account open as well so that I can be charged after I requested move out closing.

      Make sure you do your research before signing a contract with Public Storage. We moved out of the country and needed a 10x25 space to hold some of our household goods for up to 7 years. Public Storage advertised the lowest rates so we signed a contract. After only 3 years, we had to take a trip back to the ** to move our goods to another storage facility (Storage Q in Festus, ******** owned by a nice couple). It was well worth it. What we learned about Public Storage (and other corporate-owned storage facilities) is that they hook you in at a low rate and begin raising rates steadily, thinking that people would rather pay the higher rate than go to the trouble to move again. Our rate started at $138 per month and after three years, we were paying $421 per month (a 205% increase). Even after the first year our price rose by 54% (which is way beyond the cost of inflation). I called them several times and they said that I could rent one of their other storage units at a lower price and move my goods to that one - which obviously is an absurd thing to have to do. By policy, they allow you to delay one increase, only one time for three months. After that, they do not negotiate nor do they allow you to lock into a fixed rate. Had I kept the unit for seven years, I would have ended up paying the price of a two-bedroom apartment. Public Storage is unscrupulous. Just doing 5-minutes of research you will find many similar stories. So my recommendation is that if you need a rental unit for more than 6 months, do not rent from Public Storage.
