  WARNING: This place will raise the rates as soon as you sign their contract. Then they will CONTINUE to raise the rate BY A LOT and they will do it every 2-3 months. This is why they do not offer a "locked in" rate even when you sign a year contract. These people are shady so we ended up needing to pay (AGAIN!) to have our stuff relocated to a non-shady public storage. Don't make the same mistake we made! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

  I have no issues with the facilities, but they frequently increase rents by large amounts - just today I was notified that the rent is increasing by $80/month. In 2.5 years, the rent has increased by $132/month. They give very little notice, especially if you live far from your storage unit, so that you're held hostage to the new, random price increases. They provide no justification or explanation, just extortion.

  This self -storage company - Public Storage - is an absolute nightmare , employing under qualified and insensitive persons who have no ethical business sense whatsoever Because I was unable to arrange a payment plan , I became delinquent in rent I am a 68 year-old , impoverished and physically disabled female The storage unit contained only 2 shopping bags filled with previously used stuffed animals and toys and a luggage filled with my warm winter clothing ,a few books, and a new white embroidered blouse which I wanted to be buried in as I am terminally ill There was also a small plastic bag which included evidence needed in an upcoming Court case I explained this situation to Public Storage managers and personnel and was accompanied by a ************* Police Officer as testimony to this fact The company proceeded with the auction although I personally notified the auctioneer in advance of my unfortunate situation A copy of my birth certificate , blank checkbooks , various personal letters addressed to me and X-rays of my disabled legs were included in the sale as well These were never returned and in fact , were sold off for a sum of forty dollars The District Manager was rather insensitive towards me via phone although she was well aware of the trial evidence which was kept by the person who paid the bid The last photograph of my house was also kept in his personal possession , denying my need for a final memorable treasure as I lost my home to a tax-sale in ***************************************************************************************************** perhaps an illegal initiation of identity theft which no one at Publc Storage seems concerned about

  CRIMINAL ACTIVITY!! I am highly disappointed in public storage. I am on an important work trip and got a phone call from a detective informing me that my public storage was burglarized. Trying to call public storage to verify was like jumping through hoops because no one ever picks up the phone. I called the ***** number thinking they could help just to have to them unable to verify if this information is true, and that they cant even get a hold of a property manager. I finally got a hold of someone from the property the next day to let me know that my storage was in fact tampered with, but they gave little to no information on what happened. They also had no intention of calling me, had I not reached out to them first. I pay a hefty price for storage and I chose this location because I thought it was a safe area. However, since our move in date, I have seen the front entry gate broken, open, and unattended multiple times. Why did a detective reach out to me before public storage even informed me? Why is there no security? How is it POSSIBLE for a criminal to drive right into a GATED FACILITY and break into multiple storage units? Since Im on a work trip and cant immediately check on the unit, the property manager offered no help in trying to send pictures or solutions on how to check on our things. This is ridiculous that you pay for your things to be protected, but it seems there is no care for your personal items as long as public storage gets their payments and greed satisfied. Let me emphasize on GREED here for a minute: you have increased my rate on a regular basis, equaling out to about a 40% increase since my move in date. I work very hard for my money and those things in storage might not mean anything to you but money in your pockets, but for me and my family, those things hold sentimental value. Judging from your other complaints and reviews, I can see I am far from alone; as a company, you need to step up and do better in every area.

  So Public Storage decides to go by appointment only and doesnt tell the customer. So now the customer has to revolve their schedule around Public Storage. No sign on the door, no one answers the phone. You finally get a person on the phone and they are a robot that will not answer questions. Total nightmare. This location is in *****, **. ******** customer service and unfortunately ******************************************* has pretty much a monopoly on storage units around here. Storage unit companies should be regulated regarding price; it does become price gouging in a short period of time. It is a bait and switch organization.

  My rate went from $304. to $377. without notification. I paid $304. but in not willing to pay the remainder. They will not terminate my contract when I asked. I already have another unit at a different facility that is much cleaner and doesn't have rats. Don't ever rent from this place!

  I rented a storage unit at the facility at **********************************************************. The unit was clean and easy to access. The staff were invariably courteous and helpful.However, I found, like many others, that the rent was going up by large amounts. For the first few years it would go up about $10 per month each year, which I thought was fine, but more recently it was going up by as much as $50 per month. Finally I moved out. I was out of that unit by 8:45 AM on February 1st and still was charged a full month's rent. I called customer service, and they refused to compromise. If I ever need a storage unit in the future, I will choose a different company.

  Been using this company for a little over a year now and the rates keep going up. I started off paying $100 a year ago, now its $230 starting this month. The building smelled like a died animal for months and many spiders throughout the building. They close earlier than the other public storages in the area. I was told that customers are not allowed to use the trash, although I have seen many people use it. There is rarely anyone on site to assist with things, which is why I always see people using the trash, I assume.

  Started out at $68 and then $162 and then they were charging $261 all within a few months.Why haven't they been investigated yet or have a reliable way to contact them directly? Additionally, why does ****** show them with a rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars..........
