      In April I contracted with KDesign to install 11 double pane windows at the price of $28,800. My contract stated there would be a crew and crew leader to install my windows. However there was only one worker that came to install them. He put 8 windows in and told us that our windows were ordered under sized. He called someone at KDesign and they told him to shim them so they would work, which he tried to do. 3 windows on the East side of my mobile leaked after they were installed. It took them them 2 months and 2 visits to finally get one of my windows sealed from rain. Finally the production manager, ********************* shows up and decides he's going to reorder 2 of my under sized windows. It took about 3 or 4 weeks for them to come out and install them. Summer came and no rain. I was told by installers not to run water from a hose around them to check for leaks. So I didn't. In the end of September we had rain and the windows leaked as if I had a waterfall coming over the top of my windows. I called and didn't get a reasonable response until I threatened with litigation. When the worker came and examined the windows he noticed that they weren't sealed on the top and around the whole window on both the reordered windows. The rain ruined my interior walls in two rooms and floor in one room of my mobilehome. They did have a person tear my paneling off the walls and put sheetrock up. It's just all the headaches and stress we had to endure for 7 months. I would have never contracted with this company if I knew how shoddy their business was. I mean to pay over $28,000 for a botched up job and stress it's just not right.

      **** agreed to reimburse him for hiring a cleaning service to handle all of the dust that permeated throughout the home as a result of the drywall installation. In addition, there was carpet damage from water that came in through our new windows. We also agreed to reimburse for a carpet company to stretch the carpet pack and attach it to the floor along the edge under the wall.

      I am rejecting this response because: I still have issues with my windows. The leaking problem has been going on for a whole year now and I have wall damage and floor damage caused by the leaking windows. My loan payment is coming in April and I thought I would have my house sold before the payment was due and because of the leaking I haven't been able to list it to sell. So now because of K Design I will have to pay interest on the principal. I believe I paid to much for inferior windows as well as inferior workmanship. I have video and pictures to back my statements up, but I don't know how to download them to your website.

      I am rejecting this response because: I haven't been given notice of anyone coming. My neighbor said someone was at my house to repair my windows windows however I was never informed before they showed up and I was away from my house running errands. My neighbor text me after the person left. When I got home I found a card stuck in my door with office number for K-Design. If it would have had his cell phone number on it I could have contacted him before he got to far out of town. I think the next time they send someone out it would be beneficial for them and me if they would call first and set a time so I could be sure to be here.

      4/6/2022 spoke with ***************************** at corporate office in CA who emailed request form. We returned it by mail on 4/8/2022 for repair of cracked window (same window replaced in 2019 with crack across top). This time it cracked at the bottom and headed toward the top. Windows are guaranteed if we pay trip charge and hourly fee. 4/14/2022, I spoke with ***** about window. 4/25, spoke with ***** who transferred me to ***** so he could sent the **** No word so called again 4/28 and left message for ***** to call me. No word, so called 5/2, spoke to ***** who said he would check on AGU and call back. He called 2x and left a message then called 5/3 with ETA of June 8 for the window to arrive there. Said he would call when it arrived. 6/10, called to find out if window was there. ***** checked and it was. Stated he would call in 1 to 2 weeks to schedule installation. We live in WA about 1-1/2 hours from ********. No call so called 6/20, 7/5, 7/6 leaving word for ***** to call. Still no call so called 7/13, 7/15, 7/18, and 7/22 speaking with ***** who said she would stay on top of it and be sure someone called me back. Still no call as of 7/27 2:05 PM. They blame covid for all this, however, we went through the same thing in August 2018 the window cracked the first time. After multiple calls, the window was finally installed 1/24/2019! Our first order was over $18,000 and this last one over $31,000. We feel they should be more responsive!!

      We do in fact have the ***.  It is a large picture window that will require multiple people on the job to replace it and will have to get onto their roof to install.  Weve had 2 installers turn it down so we are waiting for some of our other installers to get off of their current jobs to do this. We will call the customer now to let them know the status as well as call them as soon as we get the crew do to the install.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We really don't have a choice here since the window is there, but are very disappointed that these people didn't keep

      in touch with us at all regarding the problem or return my calls just like last time!
