First of all the sales ***************** told me it would take 3 to 4 days to complete.It took 7 days!We ordered a shower shelf he showed us & when they delivered it we got a soap dish. It was discontinued! *****/*** fixed it with a small one,but no refund on that! BIG SURPRISE!The contractor, not employed by K Designers showed up when ever he wanted & left when he wanted to as well.Some days he would show up for 3 hours! Really doing nothing.The corner of the bathroom looks terrible!He moved the ************** to ******************* when we moved it to put the new cabinet & sink in he didn't even finish that!He had tape dangling & mud that was not sanded so we had to do it before we could let them install the new one.The safety bar for my husband is rusting & it's been like a month since they installed it.Around the toilet shut off valve(hose coming from wall)is all broken, just hanging there ready to fall.I thought it would after painting.The caulking around the bench in the shower is a joke!Also, the caulking on the bottom of the shower looks like he put the caulking in & sanded while it was wet!So, the caulking looks dirty.I can't get it cleaned. We were rushed when ***** the "contractor" finished to go over ********* off.When we had time to go over everything, problems. I talked with *** the boss I guess about exchanging the shower rod & getting our own.We paid $228 through them that kept falling!We bought one for $22 & have not had any problems! He was rude waited sometimes a week to call me back. Then sent me a check for $23 & change. When I explained it's $228 through them he said oh, you wanted the whole amount back.Then said he had to talk to sales. It was like 2 weeks to get that resolved. I am so angry with this company.For spending almost $18,000! I expected ******************************** had neither. I wish I went with someone else. ***** even flooded our basement, TWICE! We spoke with ****** yesterday to schedule a time for us to come out to make the necessary repairs. She asked us to call back on Wednesday to let us know if they decided to let us come out or not. We have gone to the house to inspect and see what all needs to be fixed. We have come up with the list of items that need to be fixed as well as some items we are not able to fix. There are some items the customer needs to pick out for us to buy. There is also a question of monetary compensation we are working out. ******************************* contracted with Judson Enterprises, dba K-Designers on or about October 13, ************************************** the home several doors and windows. Installation was so incredibly a problem, it was several weeks attempt to fix. The original contact include a warranty for a period of either ten (10) years or "lifetime" depending on the problem that arises. On May 3,2022, less than eight (8) years from the date of purchase, ************************ notified K-Designers that some doors and windows needed repair or replacement from warp-age, leaving gaps around frames. After communicating with K-Designers both in ******** and ********** offices, someone came out to conduct the review of problem. In March of 2023, a repair person out and out of three doors, NONE were repaired. One door was the wrong size completely, One door was installed but with no weather stripping, One door was missing to complete the install. Attempted repairs were wholly unsatisfactory. ************************ bought a sweep for one door and weather stripping. A poor bandage for a very expensive contract. Installer had the nerve to say he needed to collect a fee for him coming out. We have the customers products in our wharehouse, we called him today to schedule the installation of them, and he said he would call us back. Please see email from ************************ at 9:35am today. He states in the end of his email that he will get back to us when he is ready to get this completed.

He has erroneous information at best.
He said he had several people on the call with us that will attest that he has called and left a message at a number that has been disconnected.
I called Century link and was informed that indeed my cancellation from them for both my email and phone was cancelled, more than two years ago.
Now, I have been in the people business for 35 years. If someone had not responded to phone calls or emails since late April as he suggested.
I would have investigated the issue more closely. Voila, on numerous emails to K-Designers, It has my new number and new email address(s).
To add further insult to this call, I asked that I would call him when I returned.
He responded with what does that mean? I responded with just what I said.
None of K-Designers business whether its this afternoon or tomorrow or week from now.
I have now placed the burden on me to get back to K-Designers.

Back in August I entered into a contract with ******** to have my windows replace and to get shutters. In November I got the new windows but didnt get the shutters. I contacted them about when I would be getting the shutters and was told they are waiting on parts. That was around December/ January. I never got them and so contacted them again but never got a response. That seems be a common problem with this company. I still havent gotten my shutter and so want a refund for them.Business Response

K Designers were at a local Home Show, they were offering a "Giveaway" if you entered in to it. The Home show took place back in January of 2023. Since then I have received around a dozen calls from K Designers. Each time I have asked to be removed from their list. They still keep calling with the same Thank you for entering into the Giveaway, what would you be interested in doing with ****** dollars. I ask if they can please removed me from their list every time they call with the same results, another call a week later.Business Response

We have added this phone number to our internal do not call list. I have advised our IT manager to make sure this phone number never gets called again. Sometimes it can take up to 48 hours, but we are going to do our best to make sure it takes effect right away.

I am rejecting this response because: There needs to be a better way for people to get removed from the calling list. There also needs to be consent given by an individual to receive calls from a company for the possibility of doing business. Offering ****** dollars and then repeatedly calling someone that has nothing to do with winning ****** dollars is illegal and misleading. I am going to be looking into the laws on this misleading technique K Designers is using and talking with some different people about this tactic K Designers is using.Initial Complaint

I conntackted K Desighners last November. I am having a problem with the button not working that changes from the hand held shower to the upper on. I called *************************** and exsplained the problem. I received a letter dated November 15 2022. I called the branch office in ******** ******* and exsplained what I needed. They said they said they would call me back and never did. I called 3 to 4 more times and never got a call back. I also tried calling *************************** with out any luck.Business Response

We had them install new windows and siding in Jan 2022. The window was broken when it was installed and they were aware of it. This was done in the winter and last summer I sent an email asking when they were coming to fix it. No response. I then sent another email and did get a response. I had to fill out a form which I did explaining the issues. I submitted pictures of the siding with poor workmanship. I did receive a call and a representative came out, but only to look at the window. Nothing was ever told to him about the siding. As of this date, we have not heard back. We paid $50,000 for windows and siding, putting $25,000 down for products that is not worth it and they dont live up to their warranty agreement. The siding looks like ****, trim isnt attached and the siding is starting to waffle where it is not tight against the house. We want it redone or our money backBusiness Response

Since May 2022, I have been trying to have a damaged piece of siding replaced. In June I contacted the main office. I have been given numerous excuses (employee quit, but didn't tell anyone, piece is not in stock) by the office in ********. The main office in ********** says I have to deal with ********. However, in large part there have been no returned calls to my phone calls and text messages. The last time I spoke with someone, ****, I was told the part was now in stock and someone would be out that weekend. No one has come, and again, my calls have not been returned.Business Response

Sorry for not responding sooner.
On Thursday, December 15, ***** from the ******** office for K Design came by to complete the work. However, he said he did not have the correct materials and planned to return this past week. With temperatures topping at -13 degrees to -21 degrees, I am not surprised he did not come to do the work. Perhaps this week with temperatures around the freezing mark. Anyway, I informed ***** that I would be away on vacation the first two weeks of January, so he may wait until then since he needs me to sign paperwork.
