    DO NOT buy Ring products. They come with special screws that eventually strip and you cant remove them. VERY time consuming and unnecessary. I feel like Ive been taken advantage of. With so much advancement in technology this is completely unacceptable. A simple doorbell reset to reconnect the internet will now takes days or possible weeks. My homes security is now weakened because the cameras dont work. Im told Blink is much easier to manage.

    I bought a doorbell that they sent to my home address in ***********. It worked for about ten months and then it died. I contacted support and after some troubleshooting and an hour on the phone they decided to send me a replacement. A month later I called again and the replacement haven't shipped yet. FOUR months later I contacted them again and THEY said that they don't ship to that country called ***********. So I asked for a refund and they don't do refunds... After an hour in the chat, I had to ask a business associate in the mainland to use his address to get the replacement. So, several hours in chats and calls, four months waiting, bad warranty, bad business practices and in the end, I had ask for favors and I'll have to pay for the shipment. Would leave 0 stars, but it's not possible.. PLEASE: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

    An employee of Ring Corporation is harassing me after I cancel my Protection Plan. What happened today October 26 2023 confirmed to me that employee at Ring is sending me those alerts with no videos.Last night I sent an email to BBB in ********** regarding the unwanted alerts without videos. Before I received a response from BBB, I received 18 alerts without videos, when some of them were sent I was at the window, I can verified there were no motion in front of the house. Clearly some employee decided to harassment me. I took screen shots of all the no video alerts for evidence.I am thinking of contacting the ******** Attorney General for help.I read a complaint that this is not an isolated incident, Ring employees have behave in questionable behaviors before. I would like Ring security team to conduct an investigation because this is a security issue for me. Receiving those no video alerts at all time of day and evening is criminal, I think the perpetrator should be punish.I would appreciate that this matter is taken seriously. I can provide evidence, I have taken screenshots of the alerts.I hope to hear from someone at Ring as soon as possible.Thanks *********

    Ring charging my account $10 month charge says warranty however when I called for replacement they said my camera no longer under warranty doesnt make sense they are scammers not wanting to replace but just want to charge

    I have called ring support several times, and this time, I called about my flood camera not staying connected to the wifi. They market this product so that it will connect to wifi. The technical rep I spoke with on Monday did not make any notes on troubleshooting. Today, the tech refused to reset the camera and stated I had to go to the location to get help from Ring. If I could remove every device and return it, I would. This has been a total rip-off. I suggest Americans not to purchase ring products. I have never experienced customer service support like this. Now my business is left without a camera until i can get off work and go there because a representative will not transfer the call to a higher technical support team. i purchased 4 cameras and 3 will be turned to lowes today

    I installed a wireless Ring doorbell in 2019 on my house. The battery died in 2022. I called Ring and they offered me a 35% discount on a new doorbell. (One that the battery could be replaced if it failed). I purchased a new one from them. A few weeks ago I noticed my MIC stopped working on my doorbell. I thought it might have been a software issue. I troubleshooted it tonight to find that you had to yell into the doorbell a couple inches away for me to hear any sound. I called a representative and we went over everything. That representative then sent me to another representative. I was on the phone for well over an hr. They got me to send an email of us trying to get it to work. The representative said it was indeed a hardware issue and that it was out of warranty now. The representative offered me the same 35% discount as the previous one did. I declined. I only purchased it last year and I may have had 20 uses out of it. I will not be supporting a product that won't hold up. Espically one that is not cheap by any means. I am quite disappointed. I told the representative this and she said there is nothing she can do as it's over the "1 year" ***** Completely unhappy and will not be supporting this company anymore.

    What a terrible company -- I have called them three times and spent over 2.5 hours on the phone since September 10, 2023. The first time they said they would give me a years' worth of free monitoring since they charged me for it, and I was not getting monitored. They said, "your internet must have been down". I had a kitchen fire and luckily my wife discovered it, but no phone call from the monitoring service. The second time was September 10, 2023, where I set off the alarm and again no call from the monitoring service. I called to complain, and they confirmed that although they were charging me it wasn't turned on. The supervisor ***** said he would give me a free year going forward. On September 17 I got an email stating they had cancelled my subscription and my monitoring! Two calls and several hours later they still had not reinstated it and I asked ***** for a supervisor. They said one would call me back. No call back was received. Here it is already a week later, and I still do not have monitoring. Since this is a requirement of *********** either me or my wife now has to be at the house at all times. Basically, we are self-monitoring at this point.

    My husband is a contractor and bought the ring jobsite security alarm starter kit for his work trailer which is left on jobsites. It was over $400. We also signed up for a monthly subscription fee. Box is very misleading in stating 24 professional monitoring. We found this out when our trailer was robbed blind last night. Alarm kit was set to armed. Took 2 hours to even send us a notification that the motion detector sensed something (thing goes off all the time in error anyway). When husband finally received this notification he check the cams and found the system offline after the guys robbed us then ripped the camera off the wall. He saw the video and manually activated the alarm. Throughout the robbery our siren never activated. Our property was long gone before we received any type of notification. We called ring today and were notified that in order for our alarm to alarm you have to purchase additional special sensors to actually activate an alarm. They had no worries or apologies about the fact that this product failed us horribly. They did not care that we lost thousands of dollars worth of tools. Apparently the monthly fee we are paying is just for cloud space. A trail cam would be cheaper and probably function better.

    I ordered Ring cameras.Ordered them through the Ring.com site.Charged to my card and received another email. Your order was fulfilled. The last package in your order has been shipped. Thank you for your patience. Your order is now complete. When I opened the package, it was not the same as what's advertised. I called Ring.com today August 31,2023 , Talked to *** and she asked me for a *** no. I could not find it. I called again and talked to Honey she asked for *** no. I could not find it. She asked for *** ***** said she could not find it in their system. I said that's all I can say. ***** told me to open the box. I will not open the box, you might say that I used this product already. The box is still sealed. *****, said that is okey just open it. So, I opened some of the boxes I could not find the *** nO. that she was talking about. And told me to take pictures of the **** I did and sent that to the link that Honey sent me. ***** said she still couldn't find the **** And I said now, what do you want me to do? Send this to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU? They might be able to help me with this **** I was on the phone for almost 2hrs and everything went a mess. I asked for a supervisor and there comes *******. I told **** will return the products since it was not the same as what the picture was. I took pictures of all the *** and ******* WANTS ME TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT. I said, when I ordered it, Ring did not asked me to create an account. Now, that I would like to return the items, I have to create an account? ******* said YES in order to process the return. Now, is this the kind of business the people/ the consumers are facing? When you order, no questions asked. When you RETURN, YOU HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT! They are hesitant to return your money. I wanted to return only 5 items, when ******* forced me to create an account to process my return, I SAID I WILL RETURN ALL THE ***** Please BBB, look into this matter. Thank you.

    I have used Ring products for years and recently upgraded to a wired doorbell camera. Unfortunately, I was unable to transfer my existing protection plan to the new device. After canceling my old plan, motion detection notifications were infrequent during the free trial period on the new doorbell. However, once the trial ended and I did not immediately renew my subscription, I suddenly started receiving an excessive amount of motion alerts - as many as 5 per hour.This seems to be a ploy by Ring to provoke anxiety and pressure customers into repurchasing the plan. During my free trial, I barely received any notifications. Now without the paid plan, I am bombarded with "motion" alerts even when no activity is visible on camera. This tactic of exaggerating notifications to upsell subscriptions feels manipulative. Customers deserve transparency from security companies, not exaggerated alerts used as sales pressure. I had planned to renew my subscription, but this experience has made me hesitate to support a company that relies on provoking customer anxiety instead of providing a quality service.
