    I had ring for less than a year- we purchased a ring doorbell and a camera. We added 3 new devices in the last 2 weeks- a doorbell, and 2 cameras.
    In the last week my cameras have been constantly offline. I called ring tech support and was instructed to physically reboot the device by pressing the button at the top of the camera. That worked. However by the night the camera was back offline. I repeated the steps on my own. Since then my ring camera continues to go offline for hours at a time. Further, my front doorbell camera is always offline. This is supposed to be a safety app and tool and it is not contributing to safety. I have left home and checked my cameras, and 1-2 are offline at a time. My alarm was disconnected at 4AM in the morning.
    I finally recalled ring and the first 2 initial people were friendly but then I was transferred to a tech rep by the name of Toby. He ignored my frustrations and persistently said that he could not help unless I was home. I told him that I physically rebooted my cameras numerous times and that is not the issue. In a nonchalant manner, and with zero sense of concern or urgency, his response to my question of "what are other issues, that could attribute to this because it is pointless to have a camera that doesn't work unless you are home", was "well this is a trouble shooting line and we say you need to be home". After 45mins of increased frustration, I asked him what his information was. I specifically said "per your company policy, what is the information that you should provide to a customer when asked if they need to raise a concern". He continuously disregarded my question and answered we are not allowed to provide personal information and hung up the phone on me. I called back and another representative rudely answered and when I asked to speak to a manager, she refused saying they just left for the day and 1 could reach out in 24hrs. Needless to say, my cameras continue to be offline. This company is unreliable.

    $1,263.95 Bill? Warning of Predatory Practices! I have owned Nest cameras for years with no problems. I have owned Eero mesh network for years ever since version 1 with no problems. In Feb I bought 2 ring cameras, 1 ring doorbell and the Ring alarm pro system with extra sensors. On August 4th during the evening I received an email that my payment had failed for a $1,263.95 charge from ring. I instantly freaked out and called the company. They claim I used over 400 gigs of their LTE backup internet service that is only supposed to be activated when your internet is down. I already pay over $100 a month for Spectrum unlimited gigabit service. So why on earth would I need to use 400 gigs of rings LTE service? On average we use about 200 gigs per week of spectrums service which would mean my internet would have had to been out for over 2 weeks! I would have known if my internet was out for even just 1 hour! Plus rings service page states when you get close to the 3gigs of free backup LTE they offer, that they will send an email and app notification warning to me which they never did! This is unacceptable and predatory practices. I expected more from this company. I also read others had issues with the backup LTE not switching back to their own internet service on devices once their own internet was restored. Which means ring knows they have technical issues with their own service.

    Ring failed to advise me of the price increase of their protection plan and depicted my account unknowns to me $79. 98 instead of $60.00. Then when I called the service rep was rude and pretty much said I was lying that they sent out an email informing customers of an upgrade. She said the upgrade is to keep videos for more days. Really?
