    Rip off company. You buy the cameras and after 30 days, you can no longer return them, you have to pay per month or year to keep and watch your recordings. You can only view live footage and that does not even save. All other security camera companies keep the footage without paying.

    I had great service but then my video stopped working. I called and got a guy that had no idea what he was doing. At the end of our conversation he told me my product was broken & tried to sell me a new one & still had NO idea what he was doing. I told him to just cancel my entire ************ said he could not do that, I would have to speak to a manager. I asked to speak to a ************ said somebody would call me within the hour. It has not been almost 24 hours and no call. I am unable to cancel my service online so I just deleted my credit card information. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

    Ring did finally contact me with NO help whatsoever. I would not recommend using the RING product. I had to remove my credit card information from their site. After almost 3 years of being an excellent customer & when I needed assistant I was told to just purchase a new device. I am disgusted by the lack of customer service and knowledge of these people. Please be warned, it's all great until you need something. .

    1 Star rating is above actual rating. I probably should have read some of these reviews before I purchased the Ring Alarm wired. These responses are consistent with the issues I am having with this company. I had a scheduled appointment that was completely no-showed by Ring's third party contractor. I called Ring who referred me back to the third party company (On Tech). After spending over and hour in a perpetual loop (*********************), I get *** who says he simply makes appointments and I can either call back to Ring or wait on line for customer service. I have been on hold twice (10:02 am to 10:56am and 10:58....) I've actually had time to write this review while I'm waiting. The issues are apparent: Ring contracts out to a company who's customer service is below...below standards. Ring can absolve themselves of any responsibility for customer service by blaming the third party agency. The third party can provide poor customer service under the auspices of blaming Ring. Therefore the customer finds themselves on a merry go round that not only makes you dizzy....it makes you sick!!

    Horrible item, customer service shady no help. Purchased a Ring doorbell Pro from Lowes. Cost me much money. Didn't last a year! Called ring to replace, repair & get help. **************** gave me the run around I'm sure hoping I'd forget & sure enough I got busy with life & put it off for a bit. I'm so frustrated I spent my hard earned money on this & it didn't last a year. Ring offered me no resolutions. Very disappointed in this company because I thought they were better but their not. Even worker @ ***** advised me not to buy it but I did anyway. He suggested ****. I should've listened. My neighbors got ******* & the picture is ******* clear! When our cars got broken into we had to get video from neighbors Vivinit because our high priced Ring was just terrible all around in so many ways. When we changed wifi providers, that's when it decided to tear up. Honestly I'm shocked they didnt offer any solutions or resolutions! People, there are lots more options on the market for half the price that perform much better! Don't believe all the hype. Do your research first.

    I am an IT professional. In my role as a ***************** Analyst, I test hardware and software for my company. After 2+ years of experiencing many Ring Spotlight Cam (wired) and Video Doorbell 2 camera issues, it is my opinion that the annual subscription cost I am paying for is not justified, due to the following recurring issues: 1. Poor video quality. 2. Frequent dropped connections. 3. Missed recordings in history... sometimes for hours at a time! 4. Motion warnings not always playing. 5. Inconsistent/unstable video streaming once connected. 6. Excessive streaming delays after opening app to view. As a prime example, in April of 2022 a vehicle recently drove across my front lawn and onto my driveway, then collided with my wife's parked car, causing substantial damage to both my lawn and vehicle. To my utter disappointment, our wired (and properly setup and functioning) Ring Spotlight Cam, which is positioned directly in front of my driveway, failed to capture ANY footage of the event! In the most recent "event", last evening (9/7/2022) I was up past midnight resetting my Ring Spotlight Cam, after discovering that it had not captured ANY driveway footage after 6:20 PM. In spite of my efforts, I could not view my driveway on either my iPhone app or on my PC via the Ring.com web site. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Ring equipment and software has for the most part been very unsatisfactory. Inferior equipment coupled with continued substandard performance, including inaccessibility of recordings when needed, translates into little value to my Ring subscription. Based on the above, I see no reason to renew my Ring account subscription, and I would caution others to reconsider before purchasing an annual Ring subscription.

    Rings customer service is perhaps one of the worse customer service I've ever had to deal with. The installation was done incorrectly and was not connected to my phone. I called to complain about paying $120 for set up and how the person came and gave me the camera and said "it's easy to install yourself". Then left. Also, I had to wait on hold to have the company send me a charger which was never put in the box, or the person that delivered it *** have took it. But overall, I feel like I threw away $220 and caused myself a lot of stress over a piece of junk. Walmart has the same type of security cameras for $30. Also when I tried to return it they would not return it or resend anybody to come out and install it correctly. The company also forged my signature on a contract that the installer was supposed to have me sign. I never signed anything nor was I given a contract. This company is over price and the service and product is trash.

    The stickup camera is absolutely horrendous. The camera records a detection (about 2 out of ten times) when it wants to record. I actually sat down for 10 times, and 2 detections recorded. I actually received a response from a representative when i bought the product on Amazon. The representative only contacted me because I warned other potential buyers to avoid buying the camera. Unless you plan on looking out the window 24/7 365 days a year, don't buy this garbage camera.

    I just bought 4 ring outdoor floodlight CaMs and installed them. They don't work as the floodlights still come on when they are configured to be turned off, and shouldn't be turning on. Called ring customer service twice and both times they disappeared on me keeping the lines open. Together wirh installation this is a couple of thousand dollars worth job that I regret now going with Ring security solutions.

    Terrible company. I have a doorbell that's barely 2 years old. It has never worked well, delays in viewing live, it doesn't full record activity, the battery doesn't last more than 2 weeks and now it won't connect to the internet (which the internet is working perfectly). Called tech support and 3 people later I'm told to replace it, with no help from the company. So they want me to spend more money with them for another product that won't work well either. What a joke. Stay FAR away from Ring.

    I have a solar step light that is broke after 5 months, I have 5 of them and spoke to representative and said they will replaced it and send me a wrong one. You will be on the phone for hours and hours and they don't know what they are doing after 5 days I asked them what they will do said the item was out of stock and have to call again after 3 weeks without certainty. I spoke to 3 agen spend total of 5 hours. I have to print the label and go back and forth with UPS with price of gas and your precious time. They won't even offer something for their customer. Bad Service I won't but anymore Ring Products.
