  Total mess. **** came out and told me my motor was fried. *** said that I would have to pay for the battery back-up (the battery that is installed in the opener retails for $30) since the new one that was to be installed had to have one and I had to pay $625 out of pocket for the new garage door opener. I even asked if they could install a less expensive opener. But that was a NO. Even ****** sells a *********** (Lift Master) for $150 with more features. I would have been better off NOT using American Home Shield and Aces and just hired a handyman to install. What a rip off. If you have an opener that is broken and you have AHS and they refer you to Ace Garage Door Repairs, you just go buy a new one and hire a handyman because it will be less expensive in the long run, and you won't be ripped off. And you won't have to wait two plus weeks for the install.

  Total scammers. If you have american home shield, avoid these guys. Had my garage door, motor, etc. For forty years. Motor went out.. **** came out and within 90 seconds he decided I needed a new door, motor, bearings, alignment, etc.Called American home shield and told them my door was too heavy, and broke the motor. Door wasn't too heavy for forty years ****. Worked fine every day ****. Nonsense. Called my insurance and claimed I needed a new everything... Go figure they wouldn't cover that.I told ****... Dude, just fix the motor. Be informed me "i won't touch it". *** and ************** $100, just to roll up and refuse to fix my motor. Get that? He refused to fix it... Because I wouldn't pay for a new door, rollers, alignment, etc. that's total slime ball stuff. Worst experience I've ever had with a contractor ever... And that's saying something.

  Your issue is with your insurance coverage not with us. Unfortunately if the home warranty is not paying for the job and youre not paying for the job who is? Some customers like you abuse the review websites to blackmail and twist the owners arms to get free work. It is not up to us to have your claim covered.

  Ace's Garage Door did a fantastic job supplying and installing a new garage door with high lift tracks and a wall mounted opener. The job was done quickly, expertly, and at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

  Our home warranty company assigned Ace to repair our broken garage door opener. The **************** were in need of repair and are covered under the home warranty policy. The tech spent less than 10 minutes taking pictures and sent us a quote for $900 in uncovered repairs, alleging that the door panel is compromised and needs to be replaced. I immediately called to voice my skepticism at being charged an outrageous sum for an unnecessary repair, and was promised that they'd call me back with a revised quote.I was shocked to find out that they'd told our warranty company they'd fixed the garage door and closed out the claim as complete. This is fraud. I am requesting that my home warranty company reopen the repair ticket and reassign my claim to a business that doesn't scam its customers. Tech called back shortly after my yelp review and tried to justify why replacing a panel is necessary...to fix the bent rails. The two are not affiliated and is clearly a cash grab. Tech is going to come back today to discuss options but my guard is up and I'm highly suspicious of their integrity and quality of work. I just want to have a working garage door again using the warranty that is paid for.

  The company was very unprofessional. The company didnt come within the 4 hours time they gave me (1-5pm)The technician came out at 7:32pm and then told me that Fidelity home warranty was closed and they couldnt do the work until the morning . I had to wait another day for the work to be considered despite waiting 7 hours to be told they couldnt do the work . The technician came at 9:12am the next morning said to be completed within ***** minutes . So I had to wait another day for service after waiting 7 hours out my day the previous day After ***** minutes at my residence the technician said that everything was covered and left without giving me a receipt of the transaction or any other proof of what was supposedly completed. A day later my garage door still had issues functioning. A day later I received an estimate from this company saying that they adjusted my door and put in nylon rollers which they did not .. Its hard to believe if they did all of the work the technician claimed he did , my garage door still doesnt function at full capacity. I filed a complaint with Fidelity home warranty about this company. After filing a complaint they sent another work order and sent the same company to do the work . I contacted the company to complain and cancel the job . The woman ***** answered my call and immediately starting to justify the unprofessional/ lateness of the technician. She was extremely rude , hostile and unprofessional. I will never have that company do any work on my property and I do not recommend the company to anyone.

  I have a home warranty through American Home Shield and upon paying my $125 service charge fee they dispatched ACE Garage repair and installation. Upon arrival the technician agreed with me that the spring was broken and said that he would need to do an adjustment which is not covered by my home warranty and would cost $249.99. He does not install the new spring without an adjustment. After replacing the spring he was immediately able to move the garage door up and down and still charged me $249.99. i could have had all this done by a reputable company for $300 replacing the spring with no home warranty.

  This company sold me a new garage door and operating system in June, 2023. They told me they have 24 hour service when they sold me the door. The first day after the door was installed it malfunctioned. I need another person to come out again.Today, October 14, the door will not open and the override is not working. I called the company to send out a technician and they said they don't have any technicians available and would send one in 2 days. I reminded them that they told me they have 24 hour service. Their response was we do if we have a technician. They have my $4,250 fee so I have nothing I can do other than contact another company and pay another service fee.I strongly suggest that you do not use this company. They are not reliable.

  This company is a complete scam. Our garage door opener stopped working and we placed a claim through our home warranty company who set us up with this contractor. The technician came out and tried to get my husband to upgrade the opener and when he was told no to just fix or replace the motor with something similar he said we would hear back from them in 2 weeks regarding the repair. Almost a month went by with nothing. I called ***'s and was told that I had to call my home warranty company which I did and they said they still did not have the report from the technician. After several calls and escalations the report was finally sent and the technician said that the problem was with the side rails. If the problem was with the side rails then why was he trying to upgrade the motor. Now I'm stuck with a garage door that only opens manually because their technician lied and the claim was denied. DO NOT use this company unless you want to just throw away your money.

  I had an appointment through my home warranty company, set an appointment for 4/22/23 between 1 and 5 p.m., sat here all day with important appointments to keep. This company did not even have the decency call to say they couldn't make it!!! NO CALL, NO SHOW!!! If you are planning to do business with this company....BUYER BEWARE!!!!
