I purchased a VIZIO TV (M50QXM-K01) from ****** on July 16, 2024 for $474.44.A foreign object appears to be stuck inside the panel, causing a visual obstruction on the display in the form of a black dot on the screen.A warranty claim was submitted to VIZIO (*****************************************************************) on July 3, 2025 with a description and clear photos of the issue. These included a close up of the issue, and a full view of the display powered on with the logo in frame. After multiple claim cancellations by VIZIO and escalation attempts over the phone, VIZIO has denied the claim with the following statement:"This letter is to inform you that the VIZIO TV with the serial number and model number above is no longer covered under the manufacturers warranty. Per our warranty (which is available for you to view at *********************************************************************), Damage to the panel and Insects inside the TV. VIZIOs one-year limited warranty only covers defects in materials and workmanship."However the panel has not been damaged, and this issue does not stem from any exceptions stated in the warranty:"This warranty does not cover: (a) cosmetic damage; (b) normal wear and tear; (c) improper operation; (d) improper voltage supply or power surges;" etc.The display panel is expected to be assembled by the manufacturer in a way that is thoroughly sealed and free from foreign objects (including bugs) which present can visual interference.VIZIO is expected to honor this claim by order of repair, replacement, or refund according to the agreement.

VIZIO has stated that "the VIZIO television in question suffered a non-manufacturing defect. Non-manufacturing defects are not covered under VIZIOs warranty." However it is entirely implausible that this defect could not stem from improper manufacturing, and there is also no exclusion for "non-manufacturing defect" in the terms of warranty. VIZIO offered V4K50M-0807 as a replacement for M50QXM-K01, which is lacking major feature parity and represents a significant downgrade from the original purchase. VIZIO claimed the original model is out of supply, but also refused to refund the current available retail price of $398 on ******. The replacement offer has not been accepted.

I contacted Vizio phone support since I couldnt get anyone on chat. I bought a Vizio soundbar today from *******. Since I dont have away back to ******* since my car broke down I asked them for a replacement. I asked them to send a return label with the replacement so I can send the messed up unit back once the replacement comes in. They refused to do that. Instead mention something about a refund on Zelle. I do not use that and Im not going to. I simply want what I paid for. I just want a replacement shipped to me with a return label for my messed up unit to send it back. Model # SV510X-0806 Serial # *************** All Im asking for is a replacement sent to me with a return label to send the messed up unit back in. The picture of the serial and model number and proof of purchase is uploaded to this claim.

I purchased a 70 inch Vizio TV in 03/2022 and on June 17th 2025, the display has began having issues (color distortion and dark/black/red coloring on the display) making the TV unacceptable to watch. I have purchased Vizio TVs over the years and have always known them to last 5 to 10 years, possibly even longer. When so when ours went out after just three years, I was sure that contacting Vizio support would lead to some type of resolution. I was expecting the agent to provide a recommendation for a Vizio service professional to come out and possibly look at the TV and see if they could repair it for a few of course (not expecting Vizio to repair this for free). To my surprise, the only resolution that you offered me was to purchase a new TV. After I let her know that I was not in the market for a new TV as we had just gotten ours three years ago and that I would like an option to have it repaired, the agent directed me to geek squad through Best Buy. I was disappointed by this, but I did reach out to geek squad through Best Buy as instructed by Vizio and geek squad through Best Buy referred me back to Vizio and stated they do not service the model number TV that I have. I understand that TVs wear out over time, but 3 years for a seemingly very nice pricey TV feels unreasonably short. I would love to see Vizio provide some type of repair service, or a credit for a newer TV, or a replacement of some sort. I look forward to hearing from Vizio to see if theres anyway we can resolve this. Thank you

Complaint Title:Vizio E55-E1 TV Screen Failure Requesting Repair, Refund, or Replacement Complaint Description:I purchased a Vizio E55-E1 television and have taken good care of it since the first day. Over time, the screen started getting darker, and now nearly half of the screen is completely dark, making it nearly impossible to watch anything. This seems to be a common issue with this model based on online reports, and its extremely disappointing coming from a brand like Vizio. I believe this is a defective panel and not due to ********* family and I are on a tight budget, and we cannot afford to buy another television. This product failed far earlier than it should have, and we are asking Vizio to take responsibility.I am respectfully requesting one of the following resolutions:Take the TV back and repair it at no cost Refund the purchase amount Replace the TV with a working model of equal or better value We trusted Vizio for affordability and quality, but this has been an unfair experience. Please help resolve this matter quickly and fairly.Product Details:Model: Vizio E55-E1 Serial Number: *************** Issue: Progressive darkening of the screen over time; half the screen is now unusable Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I bought a Vizio sound system on May 13th, 2024 200 for $196. I got back from deployment on the 19th of May, and my wife said the soundbar stopped working 15 days ago on the 5th of May. I tried to restart it and factory reset it. No lights came on. It wasn't working. I called Vizio and told them that it wasn't working and it was within the warranty when it stopped. They said since I complained about it 7 days late than they could not replace it. They offered me a $60 rebate on the purchase of a new surround sound system that cost around $187. The rest of the system works fine. All I need is the soundbar replaced and they will not do it. I don't feel I'm asking too much for them to replace a single soundbar. The agent said that if it was still under warranty and they sent a refurbished soundbar to me that that warranty would start the day it gets to me. But they say the warranty starts at time of purchase for the customer. So if the product got to me a month late then I would only have 11 months of warranty not a whole year. I think this rule is unjust. Please help me. I would either like an exchange or a refund. If you look at the picture the light is not on and the soundbar does not respond when plugged in.

      Dear Vizio Customer Service,

I purchased a Vizio soundbar that died just days before the one-year warranty expired. I promptly contacted you to report the issue, but since my call was made after the warranty period ended, my claim for repair or replacement was rejected. Instead, I was offered a mere $60 credit toward a new sound system.

This response is unacceptable. Vizio claims to stand by the quality of its products, yet my experience clearly shows otherwise. A product that fails so soon after purchase does not reflect quality or reliability. The timing of the failurejust before the warranty expiredstrongly suggests a defect covered by your warranty obligations.

I request that you honor your warranty commitment by either repairing or replacing my soundbar at no additional cost. If this issue is not resolved promptly and fairly, I will be forced to escalate my complaint through consumer protection agencies and consider further actions.

I purchased this tv on 9/25/23 at target. 3 months of having this television it was starting to flicker and lines was going through it. I called customer support in March of 2024 to file a complaint about the tv and was told to send photos which I did. I was then told that a replacement would be sent out after they go over more details when the troubleshooting did not work. Now I called back today 5/19/2025 they did more troubleshooting which was to turn the tv off and on I dont see how that would fix the issue but I did it and still flickering. Now they stated they have the call on file about my complaint and they stated they reached out to me which was false because if they did no voicemail or email was left now the factory warranty is up when I called the TV was in warranty and now they stating its nothing can be done and I need to buy a new TV. I find this ridiculous because I already contacted them of the issue when the TV was in warranty now they telling me its nothing can be done. I only had the TV 1year, 7 months and 21 days something needs to be done about this issue. And its very wrong of them to sell people TVS that only last 1yr? For the price I paid I either need a new tv or some type of refund for selling damaged goods and all they could tell me is I need to buy a new unit I would never purchase another VIZIO TV AGAIN THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

I have purchased a Vizio V4K75S-0804 TV and have had continuous Wi-Fi connection issues. Not wanting to connect saying wrong password, dropped connections and disconnecting performed all troubleshooting found online. I have just reached out to Vizio and was told that it will only connect with certain Wi-Fi networks and could connect then just disconnect without notice. I feel that I have paid a good amount of money for this TV to be having the problems we are having and basically get told there is no fix. At this time I'm requesting either a fix for the Wi-Fi connection problem or a full refund. I have been very supportive and have purchased many TV's over the years along with my friends and family.
