      I have been trying to get this company to electronically release the lien they have on my vehicle, thats been paid off for years, and they consistently fail to do this. I have called multiple times and talked to supervisors. They send a letter saying I dont owe anything on the car, but they have not released the lien. I have not gotten any clarity as to why or when, but this has been a multi year ongoing issue. I was told this year they would work on it, and it still isnt done. This is utterly unacceptable for a company to claim whats rightfully the customers. Please help.

      I am finances with HMF for a 2013 hyundai ********. I requested A deferral back for Oct and Nov 2024. Since that deferral I paid my car notes every month up until March. March payment was made in April over the contractual amount of $838.36 I made a payment for $881 along with the late fee, where hyundai missapplied and miss allocated the additional payments made. April payment was made in may over the contractual amount and so forth and so on. I should only be owing for June and Junes late fee and July late fee coming here soon but I am being told I have late fees on my account from Jan and March. They are missallocating my June payment which was over by $80 to June payment. Instead of allocating some of that overage toward March late fee

      5/22/24 leased a '24 Niro at *** ************* Down payment, signed up at the branch for ********Since then received communication from *** by email, phone call, physical mail on yearly service, surveys etc.. Happened to check credit score 7/1, saw it dropped from 700 (when leased) to 493. Checked my email, VM, physical mail (keep all mail from vendors), no notices there despite other messages from **** 3 weeks ago in *** branch for service, where I provided payment. Asked many times if there were any issues with my account, car, lease and was told no. Interacted with several members of *** staff who confirmed account in good standing. Called ************** Told that there was a repo order (no prior notice). Had to pay $35k or car auctioned and pay balance. Asked to pay balance immediately, told not possible. Asked to speak to someone in their legal department - told everyone in a meeting could try next week may hear back 72hrs after. Spoke with attorney, advised if there were no notices of default or repo a violation of protection laws. Again checked communication from ***. Didn't miss payments knowingly, wasn't notified by ***. Never any issues with car lease or loans. Always had a good credit score (700 prior). *** made an error in billing and communication. Spoke with *** with attorney. Informed we couldnt speak with anyone other than ************** When asked (many times) if they could share the communication with us, told it looked like a couple letters had been mailed in June '24. To an incorrect address. Unable to share copies. No tracking or confirmation on letters. *** unable to share any communication history. Unable to share any account or payment history, unwilling to take payment. Locked out of my account from ***, not permitted to see any of this history. CA protections are provided including - CA Civil Code 2987, ******************* Act, ********* Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Consumer Privacy Act, Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.

      Transport Vehicle Request - account number: **************, VIN - *****************.

      We have submitted multiple requests along with all required supporting documentation to the Vehicle Modification Team seeking approval to transport this vehicle on the following dates: 6/3, 6/9, 6/11, 6/13, and 6/26. We have spent a significant amount of time—over the course of several days—on the phone trying to obtain assistance with this matter. Our two other leinholders fulfilled our request within hours of our initial contact. But here we wait, a month later, for ***.

      The vehicle was originally scheduled to be loaded into a shipping container on 6/23 in preparation for departure on 7/7. As the required approval letter from *** had not been received by that date, we were forced to make alternative arrangements and ship the vehicle separately—resulting in an additional $***** in transport costs. Due to the upcoming holiday weekend, today was the final opportunity to deliver the vehicle to the port for shipment.

      We are relocating off-island next week and will not be available to facilitate vehicle transport after our departure. Because we have still not received the necessary letter, we are left with only two options—neither of which is reasonable. We can either:

      Pay $** per day to store the vehicle, then incur further costs to return and ship it once the letter is finally received, totaling no less than $***** in added expenses; or

      Leave the vehicle behind indefinitely, as we have no viable means to transport it.

      Both outcomes are a direct result of the delay in receiving the required documentation from ***.

      We have now received notice that our request has been under manager review for the past three days. At this point, we are unclear as to what remains to be reviewed. All requested documents have been provided, and the urgency of this situation has been communicated repeatedly.

      We respectfully request immediate action to resolve this matter.

      First, we have not received any correspondence from the company today.

      We did finally receive the document requested, after 6 weeks of asking. It arrived 18 days AFTER our deadline - resulting in significant financial damages.

      We are weighing all options for recourse for their failure to act.

      I paid off my loan in full over 2 weeks ago and called hyundai financing to release the title and lien to me by mail or electronically . I have only received the Title but it was mailed to wrong or my very old address that I haven't lived at for 4 yrs. This car is mine i paid off. DO YOUR JOB. I want my Title AND Lien release mailed to my correct address at KARMA S TOPDEN ******************************************

       Hyundai only sent me the original certificate of title that still shows HYUNDAI MOTOR FINANCE as the **** HOLDER.

      Hyundai has not released the **** even after I paid off my loan in full .

      This place is a complete scam, they are lying about where my payments are going to when I ask for a breakdown it shows my money is floating and in thin air. Which in turn caused them to repossess my car. They are lying, manager ****** is completely rude placed ,e on hold wanting me to hang up after not doing her job. Promised a call bs k twice did not follow through.

      Just recently lost my job and Hyundai motor finance doesnt ever offer any kind of help nor do they care just as long as u pay them your payment on time ..HMF is the most uncaring company ever ,they could care less if your in a time of need and need some kind of assistance ..I pay my payments on time ,never missed a payment and been with them for years and this is how there customers get treated .. ************* ever

      On June 12, 2024, my vehicle was declared a total loss. My lender, *** *********************** received $20,649.37 from my auto insurance. At that time, my remaining loan balance was $5,765. In December 2024, *** ********************** closed my account and transferred the balance to collections. Despite my *** coverage, the claim has been delayed since August 16, 2024, due to alleged missing vehicle service agreement check. According to Assurant, the refund check was sent to *** ********************** and has been confirmed as received and cashed. However, *** ********************** currently has no record of this transaction on file. *** contends theyve submitted everything for the *** claim; the *** insurer disagrees. These ongoing delays have damaged my credit severely, and Ive experienced emotional distress and financial hardship from this mishandling

      Good afternoon afternoon upon returning my car to Hyundai I owed a remaining balance of ***** which was going to be paid by the dealership the amount was financed into my new loan. I began receiving letters that my payoff amount was not received and that the correct payoff amount was ******* not 3884 which I now had to pay out of pocket even though it was financed. Hyundai motor finance applied the check to another persons account which they owed *****. Finally they refunded me the ***** leaving the remaining balance in this unknown persons account. I was working with someone named Moline from the care department who was staying in contact and said she was getting the refund processed and said she would call me the following day to confirm. This was on June 12. I have left plenty of voicemails and sent emails as well and cant get anyone to call me back. I can really use some help with this thank you.
