      I'm not sure if I am feeling validated or triggered reading these reviews! I have been battling with Avetta for years. From excessive increases in annual fees, unexpected fees through unauthorised connections, unsolicited audits, followed by feedback totally irrelevant to our business and the services we provide our clients, unexpected invoice for the audit (over $2000!), inability to identify which client had requested the audit and on and on it goes. The platform itself I don't mind. But the lack of transparency around the fee structure and verging on fraudulent activity charging for connections is just wrong. The only time I have been able to reverse questionable invoicing is when I have involved the client. Even when I requested to be disconnected from a client, it wasn't until I advised the client and the client made the request to Avetta that it happened.

      This company is similar to organized crime. You are required to subscribe to do business with some long-time customers. They bamboozle companies into hiring them to "vet" their suppliers. Subscription costs thousands of dollars per year, and unfortunately Avetta is getting rich.

      I too would give a negative star review if I was allowed to. This company is brutal and somewhat of a scam if you ask me. I removed our Credit Card from the account and I get another Invoice after that saying Autopay is on. Just because someone notes us as a connection you think you can just charge us another $1000.00 plus even if we don't deal with the company. We need to be connected to just simply submit a Quote to them. So if we don't get the Quoted job it's cost us over $1000.00 just to Quote on the job??????? We are COR certified, why would we need to have a company like Avetta if we already have our "COR" certification, we have to upload documents, fill everything out on their site, so what exactly are we paying for???? Scam, Scam Scam.

      If I could give a 0 star rating I would, 1 star is too generous. As a contractor I am forced by my clients to use/pay for numerous companies such as ********, Complyworks and Avetta. I am uploading redundant H&S docs, insurance etc over and over again to numerous websites to be in 'compliance' with my various clients. The worst of these compliance groups by FAR is Avetta.Avetta charges you for every 'connection' that is added to your account. You have no say or ability to decline the connections, you just get billed for them. Literally anyone within Avetta can add you as a connection and you will be charged for it. To remove that connection and reverse the charge you need to use their online chat or wait forever on hold, there is literally no ability to email them. I submitted a trouble ticket weeks ago and was told the charges would be reversed within 5 days...never happened. So then I sat on hold forever for someone to eventually tell me they see the request to reverse the charge but it hasn't happened yet. Meanwhile, the 30 day window to cancel connections and get my money back is ticking away. The worst part is I can't just tell **** to reverse the charge and not use Avetta as I still deal with them for one of my bigger clients. If I have an outstanding invoice with them it will affect my standing with our legitimate client. Avetta takes advantage of the fact that as a contractor we do not choose to use their service, we are mandated to by our customer. Their service is representative of the fact we are completely powerless in the relationship and they literally provide zero benefit.

      We have become fatigued trying to get our refund for the Avetta ************** we did not sign up for and do not desire. When we were asked to sign up for Avetta we were told the first year charges would be waived however a credit card would need to be held on file. We reluctantly provided our credit card number as we felt Avetta could be trusted. Not long after, an unauthorized charge for ****** was charged to our card. We have made several requests to have this refunded and still have not received a refund and the responses we have received have given us no indication a refund is forthcoming.

      Extremely difficult to work with everything you upload needs to be edited due to some bs reason. ****** and rude support team more worried about finding something wrong instead of making sure you're compliant. When they said our files were to hard to read I offered to mail or fax hard copies but they don't have a fax number or a mailing address

      Terrible, terrible service. Why any company would use them and require their contractors to use them is a complete mystery to me. We will not work with companies that use this "service." As a small business, we cannot afford the yearly dues nor can we afford the time spent answering the relentless emails and notifications about compliance issues. If they actually provided some sort of service to become compliant, there may be some value in their offering.

      I cant even get them (1) Star. I have never been more frustrated working with a company than I have this one. This company sends you invoices for no reason. We haven't even made it through the entire Avetta Process under the first payment we made to them when I asked for our account to be cancelled and our money refunded. Nope they send me another invoice. Spoke to 3 different people all so friendly, outgoing willing to assist (at least that is what they want you to believe). State that follow up emails are coming to confirm conversation, nope I get another invoice **** with a threat that we are past due. Someone mentioned it below. This feels like extortion especially for the small business. Something needs to be done with this company

      I have emailed and chatted and spoke one time on the phone with someone and its always the same run around. Everyone ask like they are handling out situation and then I keep getting past due notices on a invoice we owe when we don't.

      We are a small business that spends 5 hours at the customer's site. We would spend much more time answering irrelevant questions and then have to pay $1000 for the privilege. It feels like extortion especially when they charge your credit card without asking and then you get an international transaction fee. So much time and money for little or no value. We need to band together as suppliers to get rid of this system.

      Crazy expensive and they send you an invoice with no rhyme or reason. When you call about the invoice - no one will tell you what the charges are for. They keep adding customers without consulting our company - who is paying for this service. When we go to the website half of the time the little mountain just keeps scrolling after you log in - never can access the site. Not worth the headaches. Their business tactics are highly questionable. If our company treated customers as Avetta does - we would be out of business!
