      The worst Ive been through! They make you do their job for them and they still make you wait until you can get the drug screen, leaving very little time. I have one day left to get it done which is fine because maybe this is a sign.

      This company is in the middle of doing a background check for a new job for me. I had another background check with them in August of 2021 and it took almost a month. Well here I am again going into week three of waiting on them to finish so that I can start my new position. This is absurd that it takes them this long. They are costing people money that rely on them to finish their report in a timely manner so that they can start a new job. I really hope that I never have to deal with this company again. The funny thing is, they still have all of my information from the background check in August. They are literally asking for the same items over and over again even though they already have them. This company feels completely incompetent. I wish I could leave less than a 1 star review. And their customer support is no help at all. Just a lot of "I apologize" over and over again but no real answers or solutions...

      Never have I experienced a more convoluted, frustrating, and difficult background check. First time I have ever been personally responsible for providing information for a background check other than my name, SSN, and other basic personal information. Honestly, if I ever get a job offer from somewhere in the future that requires me to go through HireRight, I will more than likely pass on the job due to my unwillingness to be subjected to this ridiculous process again.

      I pray to god I never have to deal with hire right again for a background check all of my information was accurate and Im positive they are prejudice I havent changed any of my information and they said it was self adjucation 3.0. And I called and the representative wasnt smart enough to give me the correct information I needed totally ridiculous Id rather have first advantage for a background check anyway at least they are honest thanks hire right for costing me a job real bright.

      This has to be worst experience I ever been through. I called customer service and each person tell me something different every time. I have been escalated to the supervisor and still no help. I am waiting on one single county for a background check. The county said that they do not have any request from hireright. Hireright claims they have runners to manual get the background check but it was never exercised. Each day they keep pushing my date back. Now the escalation team is being very rude because I keep calling and asking for an update. I see this is an ongoing issue with this organization based on the comments. I pray that everyone on here job is not in jeopardy because of the poor performance of this organization.

      The internal site was up and not the external site. Hireright customer service said they have runners that can go to the court house and a manual process can be done. Another person said we are waiting to hear back from the courts which was not true. On Monday the external site was up and running and I was told it will be completed this Tuesday which did not happen.Now my completion date is January 31.

      This company is 100% inept at performing employee background checks. First, they use 3rd party companies to get the data, which means they don't even do their own research. Second, they are extremely slow (many weeks to complete simple reports). Third, their online customer service team is unable to provide any level of detail that is meaningful to explain why they are delayed. They simply provide scripted responses to try and pacify the end user. It's clear based on the ******************** reviews and every other site where they are rated that this company is 100% a joke!

      This has been the worse experience in my life. Both myself and my prospective employer have been waiting for my background check to be considered complete, it was even expedited from the start. I've contacted customer service numerous times and supervisor *********************. Just to be ghosted and told we will follow up with that team. No one I speak to knows anything and have zero communication within the company. I have provided them with more proof and documentation than what they require and still nothing! This company is a joke how are they still in business.

      Call center is a mess. A lot of misinformations; doesnt seem like the customer representatives have the correct hours of operations. I was told to call back 7AM eastern time for their health screening department so when I did the girl goes its actually 7AM central time, so I was placed on hold for a whole hour waiting for the department to open and when I finally got someone on the line again it sounded just like the same person and this time I was told I needed to talk to another department and theyre not open until 10AM eastern time. She then goes and reassured me under the impression that its 9AM and said that its just another hour of waiting, when its legit 8AM in my time zone. My job is on the line currently due to the miscommunication and misinformations that was told to me and the company Im trying to work for. They told my company that they been trying to contact me since last week but I heard nothing from them until my employer told me yesterday that my job offer will be withdrawn if I dont get this sorted out.

      A horrible experience. Both myself and my prospective employer have been waiting for weeks for my background check to be considered complete. I've contacted customer service numerous times and it's clear none of the representatives really know anything and have zero communication within the company. I have provided them with more proof than what they require and yet here I still wait. A joke of a company.

      The experience I had with HireRight conducting a background investigation was the worse I have ever had in my 30 year career! Their level of incompetency is literally indescribable! Vizient is the company that has contracted with HireRight for my background check and it has been a nightmare!!! HireRight could not verify my seven (7) year address information, although I have lived at the same address for over eight (8) years. Then it was a problem with them verifying my seven (7) year employment history, yet I was able to provide W-2/IRS reports. They could not verify my education but I was able to present my College Transcript. The killer for me was the criminal portion of the background. They sent Vizient a 30 year old criminal investigation report that (1.) was not me since I was in college during the timeframe lisited, verifiable by my College Transcript, as well as having become a new mother -my daughter is a 27-year old college graduate! I am not going to even address the fact that since ****, I have worked for the County, State and ******************* and have a Federal Security Clearance!!! Besides that, according to the Vizient Recruiter, nothing appeared for me criminally when the same information was submitted to the Nationwide and State of ******** Law Enforcement databases! How is that even possible since all ************************ are connected?! But I'll put all of that on the back-burner. What is really baffling is the fact that HireRight was asked to conduct a background investigation for a specific timeframe-seven (7) years- and they submitted data for over 30 years ago? No one from HireRight or Vizient can explain how that happened. When I called to request a copy of this alleged report by email, I was told to "expect it within **** business days! By email?!! The bottomline to all of this is simple: HireRight ***** at doing a quality, professional job. I suggest that anyone being investigated by HireRight choose an employer who does not use them
