    I WANT OUT!!! I got roped into what I thought was going to help me and I'm pretty sure I got scammed. I have a 100% payment record and have worked hard to keep it that way but now its going down the drain as I was told to stop making my payments. If no negations have been made yet, then you should not be taking money from me or telling me to stop my payments. I have made several phone calls and either get stuck on hold, get disconnected, or get stuck talking to someone I can't understand. Reading a script trying to get me to "understand" makes me feel like a 2 year old and that I am stupid. I need to know how to get out of this as I want nothing to do with it. If I end up paying more in the long run at least I know my credit score and payment history is still in tact.

One of those services consists of representing consumers in financial hardship who need help getting out of debt. We have successfully represented thousands of individuals. No individual at our firm told you to cease making payments to your creditors. In fact, we urge clients who can afford to pay their creditors to do so. Our debt settlement process if for people in financial hardship who are unable to pay their creditors and this was explained to you. You engaged Guardian on 6/29/23 and made one deposit to your savings account on 7/7/23. We have not charged you anything nor have we had the opportunity to settle any of your debts. Our phone records show that you reached our ****************** team quickly and directly yesterday, then hung up on our representative after a brief conversation. We received your email notification (sent yesterday afternoon) and immediately initiated the cancelation of your program. The deposit made to your set aside savings account with Forth Pay will be returned to you via check at your mailing address on file. Should you have any questions please contact us.     I regret trusting them to negotiate my debt. They gave monthly "update" calls telling me they were working with one of the creditors and after that, would start working with the next creditor and the next. After 6-months, still no agreement reached with the CC company (the first they said they would deal with). I am now having other companies I was in default with sending me "Notice to Cure" letters threatening to *** me and garnish my wages; those letters were sent to the "mail@guardianlit" and never acknowledged. Yes they were right that my credit score would fall. But it did more than fall...it tanked to the lowest it has ever been. It feels as they are kicking the can down the road trying to delay things as long as they can in order to take the money you paid into a "trust fund" as money paid for "services rendered." Ive gone ahead and done what I should have in the first place...started negotiating on my own. Have reached agreement with two companies in three weeks while after 6-months with my CC, they still have not reached an agreement. And, Guardian Lit, dont give me the, "we cant find you in our records" spiel...that in an of itself is as much an insult as the services you "rendered."

    Hi *****, thank you for the opportunity to respond. You retained our firm in January of this year and the first two monthly deposits did not clear as scheduled. That slowed our process a bit because we rely on deposits taking place as scheduled for our settlement algorithms. Based on the first cleared deposit date (which is the earliest we can begin reviewing debts to negotiate, for without available funds we cannot settle) your enrollment with us has been approximately 3-4 months. On average, we obtain our clients first settlements at approximately 120 days after their first deposit is made. We did receive your correspondences and acknowledged receipt via an auto reply, which may have gone into your spam folder. We saw from your emails that you decided to pay the past due balance on one of your creditors. Based on our experience with them, that account would be just about ready to settle for less than what is owed and we believe we could have saved you a substantial amount had you given us a little more time. Finally, it hurts us to delay things because we do not charge a fee until debt is settled. In fact, we have not charged you anything. One of our supervisors has already attempted to contact you and will be reaching out again today. We hope you will take the time to speak with us. Thank you.

    I was told to not pay my creditors for 6 months while Guardian took $500 a month out of my bank. Then I was told that they would give me a loan to pay off what they negotiated with my creditors. They tanked my credit, I was denied the loan THEY PROMISED, they are still receiving $500 a month from my account and I am receiving notices and summons from creditors. This is a SHAM!

    Dear **************:Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond. When you hired our firm to negotiate and settle your debts in June of 2022, you expressed understanding (verbally and in writing) of the fact that we do not offer or guarantee loans. Prior to your decision to engage our firm, we also ensured (again, verbally and in writing) that you knew debt settlement would have a negative impact on your credit. We did inform you that, after 6 on time deposits to your set aside savings account, you would be able to apply for a loan to accelerate your debt settlement program and that there was no guarantee that this loan would be approved. When you decided to apply for the loan, you were reminded that there is no guarantee of approval (as with any loan application) and you were put in contact with one of our lending partners. For reasons unknown to **, this lender did not approve your loan. If you are still interested in the debt settlement acceleration loan, we can put you in contact with a different lender.Despite your loan application being denied, we have still settled nearly 50% of your enrolled debt although you are only 25% into the term of your program. On the lawsuit you mentioned, we negotiated an agreeable settlement offer before you were even served (unfortunately we are still waiting for your response to that offer) and we are confident the lawsuit will be settled. Furthermore, so long as you continue with ** your Guardian attorney will appear in this matter on your behalf. Our commitment to getting you out of debt has not changed, and we look forward to speaking with you soon.

    I am unsure of my review at this point. I am fairly new to this program and I have had one settlement in about 5 months. I did not get the details of the settlement with the creditor or I just don't know how to find that information. I did not get a call prior to the settlement, which is not what I was told would happen. I thought prior to any settlements a call was to be made to the customer?. I do hope that Guardian Litigation comes through for me as promised. I will continue to remain hopeful and optimistic for my future accounts to be settled, and that Gaurdian LItigation will be transparent with me through this settlement process. Thank You
