5 starsExtremely helpful staff I had with my situation. If you are unsure of any company Loan Depot is for real! I went through them in ** over a decade ago, and had no doubts to turn to them again. Straight forward, extrememy helpful with things I did not quite understand. I am 60 and a widow and was scared of all the offers I recieved through different companies, once I had started inquiring about equity access. They were patient and understanding beyond any one I had previously spoken with. Every situation is different and Loan Depot alllows you to feel as a person that matters. Not just another client to make money from. I can never refer them high enough. Thanks again.Review fromSara B

5 starsWhen buying my first home, the thing that I thought would be the most stressful part of the process, securing the financing, turned out to be a much better experience than I anticipated. That is thanks to *** and his team (shout-out to ***** and *****)! Personable, patient, caring, funny, and knowledgeable are just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe them. This team walked me through this process one step at a time and were always available to answer any questions that I had, and I had a lot! *** and his team never made me feel like I was just another number to them...I felt more like family which shouldn't have been surprising. *** handled mortgages for my brother and my parents (my parents at the same time as me)! 1 starI have always made payments on time. When loan depot increased may payment, I still made my original payment but since it didn't have the $20 increase, they sat on the money and did not apply it. This showed a missed payment. They immediately reported to the credit bureau, and now my credit has taken a hit for $20 mishap that they could have contacted me.Review fromChantaye P

1 starI have a VA loan through Loandepot. They treat their veterans very poorly by making it difficult to get payments posted on time. For years, I had billpay setup through my bank, and for some reason, Loandepot was the only company that would not accept an electronic payment on my list of payees, so my bank had to send them a check. I have had ontime checks sent, only to sit on someone's desk for an extra 10 days, causing the payment to be late. Then they changed their payment address, causing me to juggle the payment. Later when my escrow increased, they returned my payment for the previous amount to me by mail, and charged me a late fee. Each time, their system won't allow me to setup autopay because it says I'm ineligible. A mailed check is unreliable, and electronic is impossible, and they refuse to help with the late fees. This is an unfriendly company to do business with.Review fromJeffrey W

Attempted to get a streamline refinance VA through loan depot. They requested documents that I did send and also had an appraiser come out. Although after the appraisal and my home was recognized as a remanufactured home. Their urgency to do the refinance was gone. No calls , no emails. Keep in mind mind my home is only 1.5 years old so I know it met appraisal although loan depot wanted to change my rates after appraisal. I decided to cancel with them. They new initially my home was a brand new remanufactured home that was very nice. Will never use them again. What a waste of time, money and the ding to personal credit for nothing.

Incredible customer service from beginning to end.. Our team listened to my issues with other lender, took time to go over options and was so very knowledgeable and patient with us, which allowed us the ability to make the best decision for our needs and goals in today's market. Excellent communication throughout process and the online portal was great for document handling and tracking. We cannot thank ****** and ***** enough - they are what makes Loan Depot GREAT!LoanDepot
