The control board failed in our Bosch refrigerator. The part is covered under warranty. I have submitted every required piece of information for Bosch to fulfill the warranty claim and they will not authorize the part shipment because they want the appliance repair company to type their diagnosis and quote instead of the hand written document, which includes official company letterhead, license number etc. Their only other option is that I pay for their repair provider at 2X the cost which includes paying for re-diagnosis. The part is clearly covered, and in fact, it is a control board which is an item that has notoriously failed in other Bosch product. Meanwhile, my fridge has not worked in over a month.

Heres a revised version of your BBB complaint written professionally and clearly within the 2,000-character limit:---I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Lowes in ****************, **. After installation, the unit failed to function properly from the very beginning. Despite repeated attempts to use it, it never worked. When I contacted Lowes, I was informed their policy requires me to go through the manufacturer for any issues and could not help directly.I contacted Bosch and scheduled a service appointment with a licensed repair technician. The technician determined the dishwasher had a leak that could not be repaired and informed me that Bosch would be initiating a replacement process. However, a week passed without any follow-up from Bosch. When I called Bosch for an update, I was told they had not received the necessary information from the technician and that my case had now been escalated. I was asked to submit my proof of purchase and a photo of the product information label. I sent this via email, but later found out (either due to misinformation or language barriers) that the email address I was given was incorrect, and the documents were never received.I followed up again, was given the correct email address, and promptly resent the documents. Despite this, I was then told they didnt have a working contact number for meeven though I had called and spoken with Bosch representatives multiple times. After yet another call, I was finally informed of the replacement process timeline, which could take an additional 23 weeks. It has now been over a month since I purchased the dishwasher, and I still do not have a working appliance in my home.I am requesting that Bosch immediately provide a fully functioning replacement dishwasher, installed within the next two weeks, and also provide financial compensation for the poor customer service, miscommunication, and ongoing inconvenience.

I have a Bosch dishwasher that stopped working. I contacted Bosch on April 24, 2025, while the warranty still had about 5 weeks remaining. A technician diagnosed a bad motherboard and some other electronic part. More than 10 weeks have passed. Bosch kept telling me the parts were on backorder. Bosch has canceled 4 repair appointments, most recently today, despite assuring me they were 100% sure they had the parts. The tech texted that he realized the part he had was damaged. I have spent about 90 minutes (so far) on hold trying to get through to anyone in customer service.... A month ago an escalated agent agreed that enough time had passed while awaiting an out-of-stock part that they would replace the unit. Two weeks later, they called to schedule this repair because magically, the part had been located. So, that was another 2-week delay. I cannot get a commitment of a repair, a replacement or a refund. Either they provide and honor a warranty, or they don't. It's just incredible. The **** case number is ********** ... There's also the Bosch customer service case number ***********) and the Bosch appointment number (**********). ... I've been hung up on, transferred supposedly to a higher level only to be back in queue with agents whose only authority is to book an appointment. They've "lost" documentation they asked for as proof of purchase to process a claim to replace the unit, and each time I have to wait 3 or more business days before that department looks at and processes emails. Their customer service system is designed to delay and deter. I've owned Bosch appliances for years. They'd always been reliable. This is just incredible.

Purchased a Bosch 500 series dishwasher back in May 2025. Upon first cycle discovered it does not dry the dishes. My husband and I called the provided customer service number. After spending hours with phone calls a very rude contractor came out and would not disclose the findings to us but stated he replaced the water pump. Unit continues to not dry and is obviously not getting hot enough. We have a new home with a fully functional water heater. **************** kept giving us the run around and blaming us saying its our hot water its how I load the dishwasher etc. the same rude contractor came back out representing Bosch and was in my home approximately 3 minutes where he seemed to check the temperature of the unit. We have reached out to the company asking for dealer credit or a refund. Now the unit does not drain and does not function at all. We have lost count of all the phone calls we have made to Bosch but its ***** calls my husband and I have made. Now they are saying a manager has to approve a dealer credit. It has been a nightmare. As working parents of small children we need a dishwasher to help with daily life. We have been told customers but ********************** sold us a lemon and is giving us the run around with no intentions of making their bad deeds right and refunding us. They are not even sending a service person to attempt to fix the dishwasher because we live in the rural ** and they state there is no one to service us. We just want a refund and they have taken advantage of us greatly.

Purchased a Bosch Dishwasher SHV9PCM3N and installed. 2 days after install unit stopped working and was giving error codes. Called BOSCH and was given a case number *********** and referred to an so called authorized Bosch authorized warranty and service company. They came and took my dishwasher for repair. Over 30 days passed and no repairs were done. called Bosch customer service and were told parts were being expedited. contacted the repair servicer and was told a completely different story that parts were back ordered and they had no estimated date of completed repairs. I told them to put the dishwasher back together and return it to me. I essentially have an $1800 box in my garage at this point. Bosch needs to replace this unit.

The customer is scheduled with a ********************** factory technician 7/3.

      Customer Answer

The Bosch technician came out today 7/2/2025 a day earlier than anticipated which was good but didnt do anything because the dishwasher was not reinstalled by the Bosch authorized technician from Mikes appliances who initially removed the dishwasher. The Bosch technician who came today stated that the dishwasher needs to be reinstalled in order for him to work on it. I advised that it was not installed when I spoke to Bosch so now another delay because he wouldnt hook it up to work on it.

The reason I am not accepting the response is the technician did not do anything to attempt a repair. I reached out to Bosch to advise them of the situation.  The Customer Liaison Representative, ****** ******* advised that, " If I can arrange to have him return tomorrow, will you be able to have the unit in the house and hooked up?  If not, we can proceed with an exchange. Unfortunately, your model is on backorder, so if you do not wish to continue with the service, it may take some time before it becomes available. The only other option is to initiate a buyback of the dishwasher, where we would send a check to the installer made out to you.  They would then pick up the dishwasher and hand-deliver the check." I don't have the ability reconnect the dishwasher.

I replied that at this point I wanted the dishwasher exchanged for a new unit. I would like to keep this open until such a time I receive the new dishwasher.

We purchased our new BOSCH dishwasher from Lowes 2/10/24 for $1228.02. Model: SHP78CM5N/22, Serial: *********** This came with a one year warranty and a five year parts warranty. On May 31 we had a beeping noise coming from the unit and an E-31 error code. We tried to hit the reset button and it didn't turn off. We turned the power off at the circuit breaker and then back on and the beeping was insistent and every single light turned on. I called customer support and they stated they would cover this under a Good Will ******** and sent me the service provider information for our area. They also gave me service# ********** to use for the service call. I called the service provider and they stated they did not cover our area. I called Bosch customer support back and they stated that due to their not being a servicer that will service our area that they can no longer cover the product by warranty. I asked for a supervisor which they stated they could not transfer me but could escalate my case and came me the escalation# **********. I never received a call back. I called again 6/16/25 and I got the same response that since there is no servicer they can not give us any warranty for either parts or the product. I don't believe this is a sufficient answer especially when they never said anything about the area being involved in what the warranty covered. I don't think a brand new dishwasher should have issues after a little over a year and would never purchase a Bosch again.

In February 2025, I purchased a Bosch 36" electric cooktop Model NET8669UC / installed February 28, 2025. Shortly after installation we notice some scratches on one of the glass ceramic top elements and a service request was made. At the 3/11/2025 visit, the technician found mechanical damage and ordered a new glass ceramic top, which was installed on 3/28/2025. About a month after the replacement, we notice that the center touch keys (3,4,5) power levels/control panel were not working. The remaining 5 levels work fine allowing us to use the cooktop. Service was requested and on 5/16/2025, the technician determined that the control panel needed o be replaced and a new panel was order. A follow up visit was schedule for 6/6/2025. At the 6/6/2025, the technician replaced the control panel, unfortunately instead of fixing the issue it made it worse, now none of the touch keys are working. The technician stated that the glass ceramic top needed to be replace (the same part replaced in March). A new appointment was set for 6/11/2025. On 6/10/2025 I had a voice mail stating that the visit was cancelled since the part was not available/in back order and could not determine when it would be available So, after 4 service visits by 4 different technicians we are without a functional stove and no commitment from Bosch as to resolution.

Within 4 months of buying a new Bosch dishwasher, the spray pump went out. I attempted to file a warranty claim with Bosch and they stated that the only option available to me was a buyback. I submitted the relevant buyback paperwork they required on May 1. They stated it could take up to 3 weeks for the buyback to be completed.Almost 5 weeks later (June 4), they still have not paid me for the dishwasher or picked it up.I have not received any communication during this time except when I call to check on the status. The only update I have been given is that they are still looking for an installer in my area.
