I have been seeking a resolution to a warranty claim on a Bosch dishwasher for almost a year. The Bosch dishwasher I purchased from Lowes on 5/29/24 was delivered on 6/13/24. The dishwasher is defective and does not wash dishes on the lower rack properly, resulting in soiled dishes regularly coming out after the wash has been run. I first contacted Bosch in October of 2024 for a warranty claim and repair for my dishwasher. They referred me to a local repair company (********************************) on 10/11/24. ***** refused to service the claim as the appliance was not bought through their company. Bosch di not follow up nor did they offer any other services. The customer case number for this was **********.After some time of trying alternative soaps and other remedies, the dishwasher still proved defective. I contacted Bosch again in May 2025. I was referred again to the same repair company despite my objections. Once again, they refused to service my dishwasher. I contacted Bosch on 5/14/25 and was told they would resolve the issue and contact me within ***** hours. After no response, I contacted them again on 5/19/25. Again, I was told they would contact me with a resolution within 48 hours and, again, no response. On 5/22/25, I contacted them again and they again told me they would contact me with a resolution within 24 hours. I was given another case number ***********). Nothing happened. I called them again on 5/23/25, and they told me to send them my receipt for purchase and a picture of the model number. I did so. Again, I was given another case number (3046207120/4105315413). Once again, nothing has happened.I want Bosch to honor the warranty for the appliance that is defective. I plan to reach out to WA State Consumer Protection as well as BBB.Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau,In 2022, we purchased a full set of Thermador kitchen appliances, including a refrigerator, primarily because of the Sabbath Mode feature an important aspect of our religious observance. In our previous home, we used a Thermador fridge with Sabbath Mode weekly for years without issue, which influenced our decision to remain loyal to the brand.However, since installing the new unit, weve had ongoing problems with the fridge, starting with Sabbath Mode. About a year and a half ago, we noticed food spoiling during Sabbath, even though the fridge display showed a safe temperature. Every week since, **** had the same issue. Thermador sent a technician who insisted nothing was wrong, but the problem continued. We purchased an external thermometer, which confirmed the fridge was not staying cold. The technician returned and unhelpfully told us not to open the fridge during Sabbath defeating the purpose of Sabbath Mode entirely.We explained that this was not a matter of preference but a core part of how we keep our Sabbath, and that the fridge we had before worked perfectly for this. Thermador still did nothing.The issue has since worsened. Even during regular use, our thermometer shows the interior at 63F while the display reads 36F, leading to constant food spoilage. This poses a serious health risk, especially with young children in the house. We now avoid storing certain foods in the fridge out of concern for safety.Weve contacted Thermador multiple times, but they keep sending the same technician who dismisses our concerns. Weve provided proof of the malfunction, yet they refuse to take responsibility or offer a replacement. Weve tried to be patient and cooperative but have gotten ********** this point, we believe we were sold a defective appliance and deserve a replacement. This is a serious health and safety issue, and we are seeking BBB assistance to hold Thermador accountable and finally resolve the issue.Business Response

I purchased a home in ** with a Bosch HMC80242UC microwave installed. Starting in Nov. 2024, the unit failed. I had 7 Bosch service appointments from Nov. 2024Apr. 2025; 2 were canceled, and no repair was completed. Bosch now offers a prorated replacement at $489.80, not including installation or removal, and with a potential 1218 month delay. Have an expensive Thermador refrigerator that has been installed about ***** months ago.The fan started making noise about 3 months ago. It was replaced after waiting a couple of weeks. The noise returned. We had additional phone calls, waiting, until another technician changed the computer about a month ago. The technician indicated that if this solution did not work, there was nothing else that it could be done in our condo and the unit had to be sent back to Thermador. We requested that the refrigerator be replaced. After several phone calls we are being told that the case is still under review. We still have a very noisy refrigerator in a condominium with an open kitchen, makes our living very stressful. Please help resolve this annoying problem promptly, as I do not know where else to turn for help. I am not uploading documents because the company already received emails with copy of purchase agreement, photo of ID tag of the appliance and other details. I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in August 2023. It noticed a leak from the bottom in February 2025. After attempting to review/repair the leak, I contact Bosch in April 9th, 2025 who arranged for a company ************** to diagnose the problem. ************ came out on April 17th and diagnosed that my dishwasher had corroded and perforated causing the leak. Per the diagnostic report, the problem was due to "structural damage" and recommended replacement given the difficulty of repair. Over the last month, I have contacted Bosch several times/week without any formal resolution of my leak. Each call, I was given conflicting information about what they needed from me (or ************) and where we were at in the case processing. On May 6th, I was verbally told by a representative that my case report said the leak was attributed to my attempt to repair said leak (very much not true - why would anyone repair a functional dishwasher) despite the repair company saying it was structural. Bosch verbally stated that my warranty was voided and would only offer me a pro-rated dishwasher. I gave them a replacement model however have yet to hear any follow up information from them. To this day, I have yet to receive any information about my case, it's resolution, or a replacement unit. On May 6th, I emailed a complain to **** ****** the CEO along with the customer service email. I received no response or resolution of my case. I have never experienced such complete disregard for customer service. I now have an expensive leaky dishwasher that has ruined several of my hardwood floor planks and business who could literally not give a s*** and are probably waiting for their customers to stop calling/pestering them. At this point I would like some form of compensation to replace my hardwood floor that shouldn't involve taking out a claim on my homeowners insurance policy.Business Response

Chronological Summary of Service Visits:Installation January 2022 The Thermador oven was installed around this time.11/13/23 Service Visit: Issue: The left front burner and oven turned off by themselves. Action Taken: The technician replaced the main control and iris control per a service bulletin. The oven was tested and passed after running to 350F.1/14/24 Service Visit: Issue: The oven was completely powered down, and the thermal cutoff reset was tripped. Action Taken: Technician **** *. replaced the terminal block and power cord. The oven was tested and found to be heating properly. Invoice: $314.40 1/24/24 Service Visit: Issue: One burner wasnt heating, and the oven was still nonfunctional. Action Taken: Technician rebooted the unit, and both the oven and burners were tested and found to be functioning properly.2/9/24 Service Visit: Issue: The oven continued to malfunction, with only one burner heating. Action Taken: Technician rebooted the unit, and the oven was tested to confirm working.6/19/24 Service Visit: Issue: The oven continued to reboot during use, and burners malfunctioned. Action Taken: The main control board, iris control, and display were replaced as per Thermadors tech support instructions. Parts Ordered: Main Control, Iris Control, and Display 1/14/25 Service Visit (Most Recent): Issue: The oven completely powered down again. The thermal cutoff reset was tripped, and the appliance was dead. I purchased a Thermador Refrigerator from Plugs Appliances. The fridge was in working order but has failed to function. I contacted the warranty department in August 2024. They sent out a tech who took two weeks to come diagnose the problem. They diagnose it and order parts that takes another two weeks. These parts claimed to "fix" it but it broke again a few months later. I contacted the warranty department again for the same issue. Same service company "911 Service Today" came back out but took two weeks to schedule them. They claim it is a different issue and ordered parts that took weeks to get. They came back and opened the box and noticed one of the boards they ordered they didn't get the right replacement. They ordered the board but I have requested a replacement refrigerator because this one keeps breaking and food it going bad and I have a family of 5 relying on a refrigerator. I finally had Thermador accept and agree to a replacement. Now, they no longer make the model I had, so they have to give me a different model. Not a big deal, however, I have a panel ready refrigerator and the new one has a different layout so I have to buy new panels for it. The cost is $2100. I am asking for compensation for this as I do not want a different layout, but am forced because they do not make the other model any longer. I requested to talk to Thermador Management but have not gotten a call and keep getting an email saying they will only approve 50%. I wasn't going to ask for cost for contractor to remove old refrigerator and install the new one, but now I will. Need help getting what is right. I'm not trying to ask for anything I don't think I deserve for the inconvenience and wasted groceries I have already lost. Yes, I bought my dishwasher on 02/11/2025 Lowes *****************************. On April *******, I was putting clothes in the washing machine. When out of the kitchen I heard a beeping sound. When I traced the beeping down, it was my brand new Bosch dishwasher. My controls are on the front of the dishwasher were all on. I tried to cancel but they would not go off. So, I unplugged it and plugged it back up. The beeping continued. I have tried several times to plug it up and cancel but it continues to beep and will not wash or do anything but beep. So, on April 21, 2025 , I called the ************* number provided in the book. I talked with *****, She said she would have the ************************ repair person call within 48 hours. Case # **********. No one has called. I called again on April ******* and talked with ********, she said she saw where I reported it and she would have someone at the repair service call me within *********************************** On April 29 , I called back and I talked with *****, he said he would contact a different repair service. That I should receive a call within 48 hours. I have yet to receive a call from anyone. On, May 1st, 2025 I still had not heard from anyone from any repaired service. I called for the fourth time and talked with ******. I told him I was tired of being lied to. I need someone to fix this dishwasher or to replace it. At this point I want my money back. A two month old dishwasher should not even have an issue of any kind. I paid $840.99 for this dishwasher. The 300 Series 24 inch Front Control Smart Control Model she41cm5n/27, Bosch FDO50102688. I have a Bosch dryer is less than a year old and stopped working in mid-February. We called for a service appointment and were told the earliest they could come was March 11. On the morning of March 11, Bosch called and canceled, offering another appointment two weeks later. They have now scheduled and canceled FOUR appointments, always canceling on the day they are supposed to arrive, so I have missed four days of work waiting for technicians who havent showed ***** the meantime, they gave us a list of local repair places that are authorized to service Bosch appliances. Only one of the places on the list was still in business and willing to work on an appliance under warranty. They came in mid-March and said that its an easy repair but requires a part from Bosch. They ordered the part but have not received it six weeks ******** summary, I have a brand-new dryer that hasnt worked for two and a half months and cannot get any assistance from Bosch customer service.Business Response
