    I am filing this complaint because I never received my Maryland state tax refund for the 2024 tax year, which was processed through Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (TPG). The **************************** confirmed my refund was issued on February 25, 2025, and sent to Green Dot BankTPGs third-party banking partner.I do not have an account with *************** and to date, I have not received any check, direct deposit, or communication regarding the status of my refund.I have made multiple attempts to contact Santa Barbara Tax Products Group by phone, but each time Im told they cannot trace my refund or provide helpful information. The **************************** continues to verify that the funds were sent to Green Dot via TPG, yet I still have no access to my money.I believe there has been mismanagement or mishandling of funds, and I am suffering financial hardship as a result. I am requesting:A full trace of where my refund was sent A written explanation or proof of where the funds were deposited Immediate reissuance of the refund or return of the funds to the Maryland Comptroller This has been ongoing since February, and it is now May. I am preparing to take legal action if the issue is not resolved immediately.

    If youre accounting services is using this bank run ..These people are a scam,stole my refund..They will never transfer you to a supervisor and they will never help you..Fraud alert

    I Been fighting with SBTPG-Green **************** since 2021 for $1800 these people are rude with no customer service skills, it should be a law the way they treat people. I feel like a Class Action lawsuit needs to happen. We are only trying live and feed our families in this horrible economy. #justiceplease

    Was supposed to receive my tax refund via cashiers check in the mail and every time I try to email someone to find out if it has mailed all they do is tell me to check the website. The website hasn't updated for days. I was told 2 days to mail and it has now been 4 days with no updates. I NEED MY MONEY NOW. There's no way to call someone about this.

    Filed taxes with efile.Was supposed to be FREE to file federal and $25 for state. When SBTPG processed my refund, I only received $3,200 of the $4,397. When I called, they cant help me / I have to email they said. Now when emailing back and forth with them - they told me I opted to pay $809 on a site prep fee , transmitter fees, doc prep fees, electronic fees - all of this totaling over $1,000!!! I never agreed to any of that. Now what do I do? SCAM SCAM SCAM. Lets get this companys doors shut!

    They refuse a higher up when requested, overall a scam TurboTax and is no better of a service provider either. I will never use TurboTax again due to this my entire family is against TurboTax now. And as well as the irs being a joke I cant get through to anyone of them companies either.

    they service is very bad when the *** sent people tax return to them on 02/21/2025 and my deposit date is for 02/26/2025 and they they are telling i got to wait 48hr to even track it. when it was supposed to be here today. The more they charger the more we have problems getting our money

    santa barbara tax products group is once again scamming innocent people. I filed with turbo tax for the first time this year because the other company I use had a data breach. Somehow SBTPG received my refund even though my bank info is on my 1040. When you call they are so nonchalant and have no care that they are fraudulently receiving money that does not belong to them. If my bank info is on my taxes how do you end up with my refund? I had $0 in fees and I did not apply for a loan. They have now held my money for 6 days, If my money is not received by end of business tomorrow I will be filing a formal complaint with all the proper channels and filing a suit against this company.

    Yall hold onto our return to long and the word is that y'all are drawing interest off of money. I wouldn't recommend using anyone that has to go through y'all. Yall need investigated. Will not have fee taken out of my refund again.
