      Today I was denied using my Del Taco Gift card to make a purchase at the store on ****** Ave for the 3rd time and I wish that I had never bought the card. I was told that they could see my balance of $31.00 but that something was wrong with their system and they could charge the card. The manager acted like I was trying to rip them off and got rude and very indignant with me. If you like Del Taco don't go to this store! :(

      They sent out food through door dash and not only did the driver place ** on the last place on his list when we were a 3 minute drive from the store... the food itself arrived sealed and with cold water bottles in with the hot food! Our food was cold and missing items When I confronted them about it they told me sorry and that they would remake and send it out...They sent it with the wrong door dasher is what was told to me... so I never got the food and they offered a refund so I said ok...They put in a ticket and said that I would be reached out to shortly and I checked back every 2 days on the status... they said they were escalating it...10 days in now and no one has contacted me about it so I called back again and they said the same thing again! So I spoke with a supervisor and they said the same thing so I told them I would contact the BBB and the supervisor muted the line till I eventually hung up... now I'm here and I'm going to go through my bank to get a refund

      I had an experience so bad that not only will I not go to the Del Taco on *****************. in *********, but I am going to boycott the franchise entirely. DO consider going to this particular Del Taco if:1. You enjoy slow service. I consistently have to wait longer for my food at this place than any other fast food franchise, hands-down.2. You enjoy a scary or disturbing experience. There was a huge *** in front of me loaded with people. Not a good combination with the slow service mentioned above. There was a series of cars behind the the *** honking. The driver of the *** was waving his middle finger, yelling, and back backing up into my vehicle. The guy behind me got into a yelling match with the *** driver. When I reach the window, the employee, probably somewhere between the age of 16 and 18, asked me what happened. There is no way he could have witnessed what happened. I told him and he started to talk to me about how honking made things worse. Believe me, this kid was not a de-escalation expert. On the other hand I have had to escalate hospital patients for decades. I calmly told him that he did not know what I did for a living. He asked me what I did for a living and then stated, actually I dont care. Then he proceeded to do everything in the book that would escalate a situation.3. You enjoy being taunted by a kid decades younger than you. The same employee misinterpreted my driving a little too far forward for forgetting my food. He actually taunted me. I have never seen anything like this behavior in my life.Good bye Del Taco!
