I was a customer from the moment I got my baby cat in 20. I started at *********************** and then went to this place. I have never been scammed out of so much money. Its truly such a disappointment to know these people will lets things get worst before the get better.I thought my cat was having a hard time with the fact that I had a baby in 2024 shes one now.. He wasnt eating and I expressed all of my concerns. They suggested a blood test and charged ****** nothing was done other than a general evaluation and some injections. I was there 20 min at most (the blood test not included in the cost)After reading the test and speaking to the clinic i was told my cat had gingivitis. I was so confused as to how this slipped the doctors mind after expressing his weird eating habits and expecting good care this expensive company. when I called to complain of this oversight instead of being offered actual help I was told offered their ******** plan (thats wouldnt cover the suggested exams) for 175 a month. Then I asked for a quote for the exams and I was quoted 500 for blood panel and 2000 for teeth cleaning. I couldnt believe It.. in this economy. After researching I found BANFIELD. They charged me 85 month plus their one time membership fee.for a care plan that includes the blood work teeth cleaning and the urine analysis I had to do because we kept getting abnormal results.. currently I have a cat with STAGE TWO kidney disease my cat is 5 years old and a pure bread bengal ..hes too young to be going through this. Hes probably been dealing with this for a while - under their care and VCA never ever suggested blood work or p*** sample or anything remotely close to be seen as routine work in his whole life. They never suggested teeth cleaning..ever. It absolutely ridiculous to think that I paid so much for quality of care and all I got was horrible care and wasted so much money. They wait for c*** to hit the fan so they can charge you an arm and a leg.

I would give this place a rating below zero if I could. While I appreciate the hard work of those who save pets' lives, VCA forced us to pay with no options or flexibility. What kind of heartless policy demands a deposit of over $6,000?VCA needs to change and become more affordable, not operate with cold shoulders and no ************* a Deaf person, I was overwhelmed with anxiety when they took my dog away and demanded thousands of dollars upfront-just so she could receive basic medical help and breathe. Instead of helping, they escalated the situation and convinced me my dog was dying, leaving me terrified. I was angry and deeply traumatized.I'm still sick over how heartless the staff were. I will never go to *** again. They outright refused to provide lifesaving services unless I paid first, while my dog was suffering from heart failure. I was homeless, desperate, and scared, and they showed no empathy. This vet is money-hungry and has no concern for your emotions or your pet's well-being. They falsely diagnosed my dog just to push unnecessary exams and injections--all to take advantage of vulnerable, worried pet owners. I cannot express how terrible this place is. Their license should be revoked for their lack of compassion and integrity.

I brought my 13-year-old cat to the *** Animal Hospital in *******, ****., two nights ago. I called before bringing my cat, and the receptionist said that I could bring my cat to the hospital. My cat and I waited there for nearly four hours, so we stayed until the early morning. Only one person checked on us when we first arrived. I sat alone after a staff member put my cat in a room to be hydrated. No one asked how I was doing or gave me an update about my cat for hours. After a veterinarian finally examined my cat, he told me that he could not give her an ultrasound (recommended by my regular veterinarian in *******). He explained that he was not "qualified" to evaluate the ultrasound results. I left with my cat and brought her home to rest. Shortly thereafter, I received a text from the vet who met with us, and he said that he'd forgotten to give me some medication for my cat. He apologized and said that I could pick it up at the front desk anytime. I decided against it at that point. Today I brought my cat back to the same animal hospital because the receptionist said we could come at any time. What she did not tell me was that there were only several slots open for animals to get ultrasounds. When I arrived with my cat this afternoon, two staff members told me that that no one could give my cat an ultrasound. They advised me to come again tomorrow at 8 a.m., but they could not guarantee that my cat could receive an ultrasound even then. I am so disappointed and upset. I will not bring my cat to this animal hospital again. I spent more than $600 there, and the vet hardly did anything to help my cat. What a waste of time and money!

This company should be ashamed of themselves for what they are charging people when they are visiting for an animal that needs care. I get it sometimes its sn emergency but this is absolute robbery. Especially when they know people want to do what they can for their pets but sorry these guys are absolute crooks. Apparently greed has no boundaries.

My dog was a patient at *** for over 12 years. She was a rescue with some issues, all of which were taken care of by the vets. Everything was fine until they started losing vets. You just never knew who would be available. Two weeks ago my dog suddenly couldnt walk on her back leg. It just flopped as she tried to navigate. I called VCA the next morning. They said they could see her st the end of the day, but since they no longer take emergencies, I should probably take her to an emergency facility 40 miles away. The vet there diagnosed her with a ruptured disc. Because of her age and other health issues, I opted for no spinal surgery. I called VCA the next morning asking if they could x-ray her leg to be sure it wasnt a hip out of joint. They refused, and told me I needed to follow what the first vet said, knowing my dog would be put down. I couldnt take her on another painful journey to the vet 40 miles away. All I needed was an x-ray to see if it was a dislocated hip. They didnt care. The surgery to repair a dislocated hip maybe would be as bad as spinal surgery, but my dog was never given that opportunity My sweet little dog was put down 2 days later. The girls in the office and all the assistants are great, but one of the vets they have now shouldnt be a vet. They dont care, after 12+ years.

DONT GO HERE FIND ANOTHER OFFICE. This is a scam organization that has zero compassion for animals and plenty for their own pockets!!!! Doctor had no clue left from right.. brought a urine sample to be tested not until after like the fourth time mentioning it did she think to have it tested I paid $135 for her to poke and prod my dog and send me out the door. Ill never go back to this location after how I was treated. Office manager called to follow up and she was nothing but defensive and combative on the phone. These people need to open their ears and listen to what people are saying instead of just going off in some random direction not doing what was asked. Left me feeling sick to my stomach and on a journey to find a new veterinarian office

The business practices of ************* are crooked. I enrolled in a 12-mo care club plan and they continued to charge me after that knowing full well that my plan had expired. I do not recommend that anyone enroll in these care club plans as they are quite overpriced and provide only minimal care.

I love my ************* ***************. They have been my vet for the better part of 10 years. They know us by name and I can call and get almost anything I need. I trust them with everything i need for my 4 pups. Now, In their infinite wisdom, *** corporate has decided to shut them down. This is a hospital that has been in this community for 30 years. It blows my mind that in order to make a few extra dollars they would shut down our community hospital that serves well over 500 clients. Animals with surgery's schedule have to cancel them. Animals who have been seeing the doctors for ongoing conditions have to stop. ***'s position is. " you can transfer to another ************ near you" but you get shuffled to the end of the line with vets that have no idea about your animals. I've been to other VCA hospitals, they are nothing like mine. The family feel of our hospital is second to none! Once my VCA is closed, I will never use another one again once mine is closed!

Terrible experience. Do not do business with ***. My dog is my child and the experience we received yesterday is unreal. VCA separates you from your animal while they examine them. My dog has hives and swollen. They talked me into a $160 shot that would stop the itching and give him ******** when at home. This morning he is no better and now ******* and shorting in the house because of all the meds. Talk to *** this morning and they want me to spend more money on more meds rather than getting to the root of the problem. My dog was jabbed not too nice but twice and I heard him crying when they gave him the jab. Unreal. Do not use VCA. I have started legal action for damages/emotional distress, posted here on the BBB website and fired the ***. Absolutely heartbreaking the way my animal was treated.

They wrote a prescription. I tried to mail it into chewy. The *** declined it from chewy so that I could not fill it. And then charge me four times the amount for a weeks worth. Not only do I not get medicine for my dog to last until theyre out but they also charged me $40 for what shouldve cost me $15 for six months. They dont care about animal welfare they care about money.
