On 11/25/2023 I ordered a variety of whole bean coffees from this company. I tried five times to contact them thru their customer service department to check if this order was being shipped in time for Christmas delivery. Each email was answered that someone would get back to me asap. Theres no phone number to call only an email to customer service. Im beginning to wonder if this is a scam. On November 23, 2023, I purchased a 2lbs bag of light roast coffee from their section on the Shop App. I normally purchase it online because I live in **** and there are no Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shops in the state. It has been normal practice to receive my purchase item in a week. It is now December 15, 2023, and I have not received my purchase item. I have tried calling the company many times and have not been able to reach anyone via telephone. I have gone through their customer care inquiry submission twice. Once at the beginning of the month and the other just this past week. I have yet to hear back from anyone from their customer care team to help me resolve this issue.Initial Complaint

Accidentally place an order because I pressed continue as I was looking to re-enter a discount code that didn't apply. Tried to cancel the order 3 times in the week before the order actually shipped and never was contacted by customer service. After package arrived requested a return 3 times and never got a response. There is no active customer service line to call and they simply do not respond to the customer service form. I have a hard time believing this is not intentional.Initial Complaint

I purchased via their website on November 23, 2023 and have not received my order. On my order history it shows as unfulfilled. I have contacted them several times via email at customer service to no avail. I received an email yesterday asking how I am enjoying my order. I dont have the items and on my order still showing unfulfilled. Their response time is unacceptable. Please help me resolve this problem, thank you for your help with this matter. Coffee Bean did a 60yr Anniversary promotion were 60 winners were going to be picked to get a free drink every day for the rest of the year. On Nov 2 I received an email I won! Later that same day I received another email saying Big Opps?! But heres 1 free drink you better get it by tomorrow or it expires?! I dont know about you, but I dont check my email every day. So now when I see I won! Im over the moon! Then the next email is Big Opps?! So I try to find a number to call them and its just a recording. So all I can do is fill out their online form to have them get back to me. Since I have given them all my information I have not stopped getting spam calls?? That was in Nov 5. I just received a response, Dec.6. Still not saying anyone Won?! They say they had a system glitch? What does that even mean? They wont say. They need to honor what they sent in the email! Thats False advertising! I have looked everywhere and still cant find any winners? ********* clearly post who wins and where there from on there app. There very transparent. Am I wrong? Even in stores if something is priced wrong they have to give it to you for that price. I have reached out to Coffee Bean in emails and they keep trying to push me aside and offering me 1 free coffee Per our conversation?? I never had a conversation or agreed to that?! My email says I WON I expect my prize. Why does this company get away with this. On 11-2-2023 at 7:33am I received an email from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf informing me I had won a contest that entitled me to free coffee drinks every day for the rest of the year. Yay..On the same day at 1:31pm I received an email saying it was a mistake and I didn't win. That there was a glitch in their system. Sorry.... but, as a consolation, I'd get one free drink in my app.Guess what I've gotten nothing.I've written to them via their website and social media. No answer. This feels illegal and, from what I can tell is.I could actually *** them for making a false claim.I have both emails. I'm really perturbed that they will not respond. At the most this would cost the company less then $500 in free drinks. But, instead, they just decided to ignore it.Now I'm annoyed as I've been a loyal customer since they had one store in Larchmont Village about 23 years now.I want them to follow through on their original promise which would work out to about 2 months worth of free beverages or a payment.Initial Complaint

On November 2, 2023, I received an email from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf saying I had won free coffee for the rest of 2023! A couple hours later I get another email saying they made a mistake. For the mistake they made, they gave me a free coffee in the app, that didn't work. I think Coffee bean & Tea leaf should honor their mistake and give me free coffee for the rest of 2023.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for someone else using the app for coffee bean and ******** went to go deliver the order and the person was not available and the DoorDash driver couldn't find them so I'm wondering if I can get a refund. I have contacted and filled out their form for coffee bean three or four times now and also contacted DoorDash shoes filed twice now to have this issue resolved and I've gotten no response except for an automated email saying they would get back to me shortly and no one has gotten back to me. Their phone numbers talk about COVID and they're flattening the curve so they don't have any employees available to answer the phones and their mailboxes are full. I emailed Coffee Bean on DECEMBER 27th 2022 about my defective espresso machine asking to warranty it. There is no phone number to call or anything I could find so email it was. I got a reply on JANUARY 24, 2023 asking for more details/photos so I provided on January 25th. On January 27th, I was told by ********* (same person all this time) to mail in my broken machine and a replacement would be sent out once they confirmed they received it. I mailed the mail on FEBRUARY 8th and sent them the shipping confirmation. It was delivered to coffee bean on February 16th and I emailed the girl on February 19th with 2 confirmations of delivery with no reply. I emailed again on February 27th and got the same generic ******** reply of looking into it and sorry for delay on MARCH 8th. I fired back an email on March 9th saying unacceptable and still no reply to date. SEND ME A NEW MACHINE NOW!!! This is the worst service and such bull c*** excuse after excuse and fake delays.
