If I could leave no stars I would. I created an account with them when I got my new ev back in 2021. I never touched the account past creating it, as my step father had encouraged me to have an account with most charging companies just incase. Fast forward to last week, reiterating I never touched this account, I come to find out this account had been fraudulently used without my knowledge. Because I never touched this account, none of my information was up to date. My account was sent into collections, and I only became aware of this due to an email I received. I tried to reach out to the collections company and informed them, they told me to speak with evgo to get documentation to dispute the collections charge. The first time I called, they found my account and saw no charges. The second time I called they couldn't even find my account at all. I then emailed them explaining and they told me to move forward with the dispute. I did that, I used the email from evgo telling me to dispute the charges as documentation as I wasn't provided anything else, they denied saying evgo validated the charges. I reached back out to evgo and they told me to work with the agency and pay for the fraudulent charges they sent to collections. This is all to say, THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY SYSTEM IN PLACE TO HANDLE FRAUDULENT CHARGES ON ACCOUNTS. Do not create an account with them, and if you have one delete is ASAP because if someone gets your info they will not help you and you will be held responsible.

The app is bad, not user friendly. I think this company is owned by old people who dont know who are bad in technology.

I have used EVgo for the first time and am incredibly pleased with my experience. I found several stations which were all apparently functioning properly with ample availability. At first I freaked out because I thought that I had been overcharged. I reached out to the company and was responded to appropriately within one hour. There was just an initial surcharge as they explained and they were correct. Issue resolved already and it's been less than 24 hours. The best part is that they offer so many of the fast charge. I am now interested in a membership as they offer many benefits.

Evgo is a scam! The station do not ever work. Drivers are sitting for up to 4 hours just to get on a charger. When I first began using evgo; I was charged multiple different prices. At this point; I am spending more charging than I was with my gas vehicle. These cars ****, and should be recalled due to lack of demand!!! I have complained about this for over 6 months; to no avail. I have owned my car for three months. I will be returning this car immediately! I cannot get anything done. I spend most of my time sitting on a parking lot and afraid to drive bc it will take attest 6 hours of time that I do not have. This is a very stressful situation tbh. These cars should not have been made without any idea of convenience for the buyers!!!!

I no longer own my Electric vehicle and somehow they are charging me for someone's else's charging on the other side of the country. I reached out to EVgo and they told me there was nothing they could do and they wouldn't be able to refund the charges.

Too many charging stations in the area are offline ******* Locations:Whole Foods - ****************************** - *************** ********** Location:************************ - *************************************** This is extremely inconvenient as drivers have to go miles before finding a charging station.I've emailed CS and they apoligize and say they are working as quickly as possible to get these stations up & running and to use the app to find other locations. The problem is the other locations are offline as well!

I believe Evgo is committing fraud! I went to their charging station for the first time, was told on the screen the estimate was $8.00 for the charge and then eventually was billed $38! When I talked to customer service they admitted that the first figure was "only an estimate". Their exact message was: "The cost displayed at the charger is an estimated cost, not the total cost. The total cost is determined on how many KW your vehicle receives between the timeframe that are are plugged in during the timeframe rate that we charged in, for this session your session started under ON-PEAK time for a total of $56 per KW." If the real cost is almost 5x the estimate, that isn't an estimate. It is a bait and switch scam. You are luring customers in with one price and then charging something completely different. They do not deserve a start but there is no option for zero stars!

I havent had 1 time in the 6 months Ive been trying to use their charger where I didnt have to call them to initiate a charge. Sometimes its just broken & they send me all over town to find another charger. Its ridiculous & has cost me so much ************ that when my lease is up, Ill be done with electric vehicles!

EVgo is the least reliable EV charging service. The app doesnt provide accurate status of the sites availability or chargers not functioning. This includes not on line or even when the cable has been cut off.
