I was scammed through catfishing and wanted to use SocialCatfish. I uploaded a photo, and after I paid $5,73 with my credit/debit card ending in #****, I received zero reports. I tried emailing SocialCatfish, but the email address doesn't exist. I uploaded the same photo several times, and though I received payment confirmation, I am still directed to pay $5.99! I should be compensated for my time and effort. $1,000 per response from email delivery that the SocialCatfish email address does not exist.

    Hello ******** -

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to receive feedback and try and help you out. We've received your response and took a look at your account. In your complaint, you stated that you received 0 results. You had paid and used for two separate searches and received results. You uploaded an image and got 285 matches for the image search. The image was a photoshopped image and we showed you the original image that was photoshopped. This is valuable information for people who have been scammed. We've attached a screenshot for you reference. The other result was your own information. You received 10 addresses, 58 relationships, 9 additional emails, possible current address and email along with the age. You also received social media and data breach information on your emails. We also attached a screenshot but, redacted your personal information.

We don't provide free services and don't force anyone to sign up or run searches. We're sorry that you were scammed. Additionally, you claimed that our email address wasn't valid. We've had this email address for 8.5 years and it's also listed on the BBB website. We get thousands of emails through this email every day. Unfortunately, we don't have any record of you contacting us prior this this complaint. Could you have typed in the wrong email? Based on this information, we won't be able to provide any refund. If you didn't understand your results, we'd be happy to review them with you. Additionally, we've attached screenshots of your results.

I uploaded a photo onto Social Catfish so that it could be removed from their search results. They sent a confirmation email, but when I clicked on the link it stated "Invalid Verification Code."
