They do not return my calls, and their customer support is an AI calling herself "******" promising a return call. They did not let me cancel citing several reasons such as that I should read my policy again and give it a second thought since I have a lot of time. This happened 3 times. Or that their refunds department was out on holiday. They stated when first called that they would refund my down payment and cancel my service when asked no hassle. It's only been a hassle.Business Response

Made first and only claim 11 months into my contract. Reported problems with my washing machine. Took two weeks to get tech out to check appliance. Told me it showed some errors and parts would be ordered upon approval. Told me to anticipate 3-5 days. Day 5 no word and when I called told me they needed the serial number so they could order right parts. Problem 1. Why didnt tech get serial number at time of visit and why was I not contacted. Another 4 days go by. Parts ordered but one part not covered. Would I pay for this part, quoted ******. Since less than new washer said I would pay. Another 3 days. Asked again about the part not covered but now the price is escalated to 360. Said I needed 4 rather than 2. They felt the problem would be fixed without these 4 parts so I asked them to deliver the other parts. problem 2. Two scheduled appointments tech was no call no show. Told to wait from 9-3 each day! Third time, now 40 days without a washer I did have tech come to house. Problem 3. Did not turn water on and it was so tight off we had to call him back to get water to fill tub. Two loads later the whole tub fell into bottom of machine. Was told I would have to make new claim. At this point another 4 weeks, anticipated lost work days it was cheaper(for them!) to just buy a new washer. No one will personally take my complaint or my requests to cancel my contract with a prorated return of fees paid. The contract for three years was *****. Expensive but if it worked like it should probably over time equal out. Home is 7 years old with original appliances, me as sole owner. Needless to say my first experience has cost me anxiety, time and a new washer out of my pocket. Needed to lug clothes to laundromat as there are 3 adults living here one with urinary issues! I want an apology but I also want contract canceled with no further payments to the and reimbursement of prorated feesBusiness Response

I got a piece of mail that stating a home warranty. I had thought it was from my realtor. They said I could start the policy and cancel at any time. I called repeatedly and they keep giving reasons as to why I can't cancel. The policy doesn't go in effect until the 5th of January but they make little to no effort to contact me.Business Response

They threatened me with letters acting like my home warranty service when I just bought a house. I knew I had a warranty that came with it but they suckered me in to give them my card info and putting a processing fee of ******. Right after I hung up I tried to call them to cancel because I felt it wasnt right and it was spam. They told me to wait till package came in. Then I sent an email days later demanding they cancel it and they called me and asked me to wait till package came in mail then to call and cancel if I still wanted to and they would give me a refund of ******. So I waited then I called them a third time. Begged them to cancel it and the lady told me I would receive an email with cancellation number and refund well 3 days later still never received email or refund. Matter of fact after I hung up the phone an hour later they tried to charge my card again another processing fee of ****** dollars but I have my card blocked. I want this service cancelled and I cant seem to get any help from them. I have had my card blocked for weeks because of these people. They are running a scam and I never want to hear from this company again I really would like my money back and this contract cancelled and to never hear from this company again. Please help me and help others in the future from this company because they are the biggest scam and will hurt a lot of people. It has really been very stressful and depressing dealing with this issue for the last few weeks.Business Response

I filed an claim back in October concerning my garage door, we called them about an garage door they didn't have anyone in the network and they had given us some people to contact. So we contacted an ****** Precision Door and they wanted 800$ and they said they were gonna allow me 300 towards getting the garage door fixed afterwards I went to bought the motor and paid the labor. I got the door fixed through **********, and weve been waiting since October for a check of 300+ dollars and havent received it yet its been 2 months. Ive called on several occasions and talked to someone named **** but the second time when I called they happen to tell me that **** no longer worked there so she hadnt sent the information to the claims department and the second ****** was ****** who happened to tell me that the check was supposed to be mailed out on the 13th of November, and the third time I spoke with her she was very rude and also said I was calling the wrong department and they called me back after an series of conversations they reached out and so I sent an photo of my paperwork from ********** showing that the installation had been done, so im not understanding why this process is taking so long to see what is owed.Business Response

I was confused into thinking this was my real home warranty, not a new one. Upon realizing this, as well as the price being way to high for me to fund, I asked to cancel (still in the cancellation period). I was told it was cancelled but it turned out to not be. They took my money, forced me to get a new debit card, and harass me about 10 times a day about paying- allthough I have gotten told by different people, different times, that my account was closed. It is almost impossible to get through to them, as they use different numbers every text or call, and all lead to a robotic hold list. When I can speak to someone, they are always threatening and lie to me about closing my account, then hang up before I can say anything else.Business Response

After reading 15 pages of complaints with Home Warranties in *************, I see the pattern of abuse and manipulation that is so disturbing. How sad that there are companies that prey on **********. I was duped during a very tender time.I opened the mailbox to multiple letters from Home Warranty saying I needed to call them immediately. "This is our final attempt." The woman on the phone said my insurance had changed when my morgage was sold and that the seller would pay the last 18 months of the Home Warranty if I paid the first 18 months. This was a blatant lie. Then the conversation unfolded to how there were floods and power outages in my home and my neighborhood and to let them know immediately... so they could help me with the impending damages. She listed the neighboring streets and brought me to tears. So much confusion and they fed on the fact that I couldnt access my real estate agent to ask about my REAL HOME WARRANTY that the Seller gave me at my closing. I paid 100 deposit and got off the phone in tears. I called my agent and the seller and they confirmed I was duped. I called the next day to cancel and they put me on hold for several minutes hoping I would drop off the line. I didnt. I asked for a full refund and he said I hadnt even reviewed the "package". I said I needed to speak to someone else to cancel. He argued and bullied me and said I wasnt scammed. I kept saying thank you, please refund the $100 and cancel all future payments. He finally got back on the line and said he did his research and they didn't want to work with me. I laughed and said great. Please refund immediately and have an awesome day. He hung up on me. Finally after speaking with two other people, I was given a refund confirmation number. I will be canceling this credit card number as soon as I get a refund. Will I get a refund??? I doubt it after reading pages of complaints. I am sharing this tearful embarrassing experience to help others.Business Response
