  Hire a Helper is a scam website. They are a listing website for moving companies to be visible for move jobs. They charge too much per booking. They are rude and unprofessional. ******* is a major bad attitude in that office. The no show department is trying to charge me over $300 in fake cancelation fees. They are fraud. Stay away from them.

  I hired Hire A Helper for my move out in ********. They sent me 2 movers from ********; I live in ********, ********.the 2 movers they send to load up our 26ft moving truck were there for 2 hours. We provided 12 blankets to protect all my furniture. Once I arrived in *****, (my helpers( from Hire A Helper also); but from a different sub contractor; furniture was taken off the truck, these helpers here in ***** allerted me right away. They said to me come here , you need to see this. they said the way the helpers loaded the truck was awful. They showed me a piece of furniiture from my 5 piece set. it wasn't standing it was leaning and after they brought it down from the truck myself and the helpers said I should take pictures and document all the damage on this piece, which I did.. Then 4 more pieces of my bedroom set were brought down from the truck. All 4 pieces were damaged as well. I took more pictures. there were other damaged items: a living room upholstered chair, and 2 dining room chair legs. The worst damage was to my late husbands ****. There was a hole the size of a quarter in it. This was the worst experience I have ever experienced in my life. I have moved several times; but this was a absolute nightmare for me. I have filed a claim for damaged; but thus far, nothing has happened. I am asking them to repair all my furniture that was damaged. I want my husband urned replaced; as it cannot be repaired. I would not recommend the movers in ******* to anyone ever. The ones here in ******* were great and very respectful of all my belongings. the ones in ******* were just in a huury to get done and go home. I was the last job of their day, lucky me!.

  HireAHelper sent a subcontractor to wrap and load our furniture and packed boxes in PODS. Every piece of my furniture is damaged due to improper wrapping and loading. Some items are beyond repair. Company only want to pay limited amount and want me to go to their subcontractor for the rest. I hired HireAHelper, LLC for the job and paid them. I have no relationship with their subcontractor. Also, I had provided lots of pictures reflect the job was not done by professionals. My job was to be handled by experienced crew and I have been defrauded.

  They were the best movers I ever had. They were hard workers and very polite and were very alert to the fact of not damaging anything. I would absolutely recommend them to everybody

  Horrible experience. Used their recommendations for labor requirements for a moving job and said recommendations were way off!! Essentially they made me overbook the job, i.e. hire more men for more hours that was required. Guess who was left holding the bag for the 75% extra unused hours? Yep, me, the customer, the idiot who relied on their expertise. I will not use them nor would i recommend them to any friends or family. I know i won't see a dime back.of what I loss, but you don't have to just don't hire them.

  This was easy. Everything went well, there were no bad surprises. The moving help I hired (Majik Movers) were on time and done a great job. They worked hard in plus 90 degree weather with high humidity. I would hire them again if I needed help.

  Had A1 loyalty in ******* cancel a job on site claiming take more than 3 hours more like 6 for simple unload job. They were on the phone with highahelper for our for half an hour, then claimed I use the n word so they can get out of the job. Got other unloaders from local source and took an hour and a half!

  It gave me peace if mind to go through Hire A Helper to hire a reliable and responsible help with loading my belongings into a pod in an efficient way so they would arrive without damage to my new home. I used Above the Rest Movers in *******. I didn't have much to move, but it was from a 3rd floor apartment. They were very nice and fast, way under 2 hours. Didn't even use cords or ratchet straps. When I asked if they didn't need them, the guy told me he would pay me $1000 if anything moved. Let's just say after ****** miles I couldn't collect the money. I am very satisfied.

  Great movers! Professional and pleasant at all times! They worked fast, carefully and did a superior job. Would use them again and would recommend!
