Horrible customer service. Left me with a 1500 piece of metal. The customer service representative gave me the contact of the service tech in our area. He came out and said the compressor is no good ( 2yr old unit) he said he doest know how to fix and would buy a different brand in the future. He continued to go on bashing thor and all the quality issues they have.

The oven started turning on randomly and smelling like gas, and we had to fight to get it serviced. The company they required us to use not only destroyed our kitchen floor, but the oven doesn’t even work a week after they came to “fix” it. I called to get someone out in an emergency but nothing happened. Do not buy an oven from this company unless you enjoy being incredibly angry and disappointed. Thor should buy us a new oven from a different company and take back their piece of garbage that cost us thousands of dollars.

The worst stove I’ve ever owned. The only thing worse was the customer service. Do your self a favor and do NOT buy this brand!
Oven door doesn’t close all the way, despite multiple hinge replacements. The front gets so hot, it will burn you if touched. Griddle will not hold temp and was told by customer service that the drip pan for the griddle that must empty into the griddle inlay in order to be removed is part of the design and cannot be fixed. WHAT? The drip pan is designed to not hold the drippings when removed?!?!?
Doesn’t really matter, since the griddle temp issue makes it basically unusable.
Did I mention the bad ignitor that lets propane pour into the house? Do not buy this stove!

I brought this TGC3601 Cooktop from Bestbuy.com and was installed on Sept 22. The installer turned on everything back and tested it and left. Later in the week, when I want to turn on the range for cooking, the burner front right most failed to generate the spark and I could smell the gas coming off as it missed the spark and failed to produce fire. I called Thor Customer Service on Sept 26 and showed them a video and they assigned it to an appliance repair shop who fails to show up despite having given 2 days back to back appointments.. Thor assigned me a newer appliance repair professional, he comes and was able to fix 3 out of 4 burners.
however, a day after the fix, the issue comes again and all the burners went dead.
Never bu THOR. Faulty products with dishonest and rude customer services support staff

VERY disappointed in the THOR electric range that I purchased FEB 2022. Wish I'd seen reviews like below before I bought. Stove top works great, so far. Oven failed to heat at all after only 6 months of use. It was a 3 week customer service process to get Thor to approve service. Then a new thermostat was sent BEFORE the technician came. So he simply installed it without doing any diagnostics (per what he was contracted to do). I use an oven thermometer. The oven heated to proper temp upon his test via my thermometer and his at the end of install, but since then it either over heats/ under heats/ and varies WILDLY during a simple 10 -minute baking cycle. It just pre-heated it to 350 and put a batch of cookies in; checked on them at 5 minutes and it had fired up to 450 - burned AGAIN- many bakes have been ruined due to this problem. It's an OVEN - it needs a functioning thermostat.

Purchased a THOR 20.8 Cubic Feet FDR Refrigerator/Freezer. Within the 1 year warranty, both the fridge and freezer portion went out. Thor has yet to let me know when they will get this fixed or replaced and I have been waiting 3 months since the original complaint was submitted.
Apparently, the service company in Ridgeland, MS said that THOR is pretty bad at getting back to their vendors with parts to fix the broken equipment. Pretty bad to pay $2,300 for a fridge and have it break in the first year. Even worse to not have the decency to contact the owner of their product to explain the hold up or offer a refund.
Would not recommend buying their products given their customer service.

We remodeled our kitchen and had a Thor range as well as Thor wine fridge installed. Both appliances are defective. The wine fridge short cycles and the oven stopped heating. There was only a parts warranty on the wine fridge, but the replacement parts did not fix the issue. The range is warrantied for parts and labor, but customer service uses the 3 year old pandemic as an excuse not to schedule service. I would recommend not using Thor appliances.

I purchased a dual energy stove from home depot and it went defective three times within the first 18 months. Customer service was slow, took months, repeat months, to get the part to us which then went defunct also. Horrible experience don't buy Thor

    Hello,
I am sorry that you feel this way about the service. I have reviewed your case and it does appear that the part was out of stock the last time service was needed. There was a delay worldwide due to the pandemic. We can move forward with service to help get your issue resolved.
    Thank you

    NEVER buy Thor Appliances!!!!!!
I really wanted higher end appliances to finish off my kitchen, and specifically a Professional look. Thor appliances had the exact look I was after and I went for it. All seemed good for about 3 months but in August the range stopped working. Honestly, I didn’t panic as I knew I was under warranty, but that’s where the nightmare began. Thor customer service is/was horrible. They could not find anyone to come service the range and three weeks went by. My frustrations grew, and things got worse. Still no resolution on the range and the dishwasher stops working. Again they can’t find anyone to fix them. Obviously, I start getting really ticked off and ask for new appliances to replace the faulty ones. However, they say they won’t do that until an appliance technician informs them they can not be fixed. Duh, how can we do that if you can’t even find someone to come out here? Wait, it gets even worse! the ice maker on the refrigerator stops working properly. At this point, I’m just done with Thor and start copying in my lawyer on my emails and documenting everything. Finally at nearly 2 months in I get my first hint at resolution as they start delivering replacement parts and find a technician from over 70 miles away to come out. On the day of the appointment, he cancels!!! I do finally get word they will be refunding me in full. I won’t bore you with every detail on the return issues but I’ll leave it at this, it took another 2 weeks and I had to take them out of the house myself and place all 3 on pallets. Just this morning, after months, I finally received my refund. In sum, Thor appliances are poor quality and the service is even worse. You will NOT be “cooking like a God!”

    Hello,
I am so sorry to hear about your frustration and the service that you have experienced. Thor does it's best to make all customers happy. A customer's service call can take a bit longer to locate a tech if the customer is located in a remote area where service is not available. We do our best to call every company in your vicinity to get us to assist us with service calls. Sometimes we do have those that are to remote, and Thor then has to take other actions.
