I ordered a **********(kitchen knife) from ********, order #********, on August 6, 2022. There was no mention that this item was being shipped from ***** Their customer service said the item would be delivered on August 25th to my daughters address. This morning I received a notice that the item is to be picked up.
We don't have a phone or address or who the shipping company is, or anything other than the item is located somewhere in *************
There is no telephone number for StackCommerce, so we can't contact their customer service by phone. Is this a scam.Business Response

PayPal has refunded my money back to my *********** checking account.the item was never delivered and PayPal looked at the tracking site after I gave them the tracking number and they immediately refunded my money.
The retailer refused to give me a refund and insisted the package would be delivered.

I ordered a chair from this dealer and have not received it from date of purchase. The tracking number given was not valid. I have requested a refund and they have yet to honor it. Chair was ordered on June 24th 2022.Business Response

I purchased a copy of Microsoft Office for Mac 2021 through StackCommerce linked from AppleInsider on 5 August. All attempts to activate the software have been unsuccessful. Microsoft claims this code has already been used. Early in my attempts I sought Customer Support. I received one reply asking for more information including a screenshot. I have not heard from Support since.
I see enough related complaints regarding StackCommerce on BBB to request a refund for my purchase. I note today (just two weeks different) the product is offered at half the price I paid for it.
The amount of time required to get this far without having a working product is NOT worth the price.Business Response

Sold me a broken computer and I cannot get it replaced. It does not power on. It arrived today and they are giving me problems about getting it replaced. Having to go to small claims court and dispute this with my credit card. Stay far away from this bunch of scammers! I EXPECT A FULL REFUND!Business Response

I purchased from Stack Commerce a Microsoft Home Office for $39.99. When I tried to redeem the code it stated it had already been redeemed. I did contact the company,,however no response. I filed a complaint on PayPal and the company stated they cannot refund due to the code had already been redeemed, which I was never able to download. I believe this company yo be a scam and never intended to this item available.Business Response

I ordered a smartwatch and the additional one year warranty. It arrived as a complete DUD. It will not charge, it will not power on. There is no customer service help enclosed with the watch or on the box. It does tell you to download the app also produced by the manufacturer. THAT'S WHERE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE. So many people with my exact problem - a DUD. ********** response? Follow the enclosed directions for return (THEY DON'T WORK) and I must pay return shipping. Returning shipping for a dud that won't turn on? This is a scam perpetuated by ********. I have filed a scam complaint with ******* ***.
******** then responded that they would refund for the watch AND ONLY THE WATCH. Why am I responsible for the rest?
******** has an 85% one star rating on ********** and all have SCAM in the title. They are notorious for selling defective merchandise. They pretend to settle the issue but the money or device never actually show up.
*********** has refunded me in full. It is up to ******** to defend themselves and their actions. If they continue to refuse a FULL REFUND to ***********, that is what I want. These people are scammers.Business Response

No refund has been issued to ***********. Company has changed their "resolution" MULTIPLE times. It has gone from partial to full to partial to full refund, merchandise must be returned and paid by me to merchandise does not have to be returned.
I have repeatedly been told that to receive my refund, I must cancel the dispute placed with ***********. *********** has assured me that I must not do that. There are online reviews that stated other people were assured refunds if they cancelled the dispute, they did, and never got the refund.
I CHECKED WITH *********** YESTERDAY. THE BUSINESS HAS NEVER RESPONDED. I have received a credit from *********** and that will become permanent if the business contines to refuse to respond. THIS IS A HORRIBLE, DISREPUTABLE COMPANY.Initial Complaint

I purchased the ******************************************************* license from StackSocial on 6/25/2022, the order# is XXXXXXXX. Once I installed it on my ******* laptop, it became black screened. I assume it was the laptop problem, so I need to return it. Before doing that, I asked StackSocial rep if I can uninstall the software in one laptop, and reinstall it in another one, and the answer is YES. So I uninstalled the software and returned the laptop. But when I tried to install the software again on my newly purchased laptop on 7/12/2022, the product code is invalid. I spent money, but I cannot use the product!! I contacted StackSocial multiple times by emails and phone calls, but no solutions so far. I just stuck here!
