      This company is scam, they put expiration dates on their cards which is against the law and make it extremely difficult to contact them. I lost $88 even though they claim on their site they will extend the expiration date if you contact them. I recommend NEVER getting a gift card through them.

While federal law does specify that funds from gift cards cannot expire, promotional, loyalty, or rewards gift cards are exempt from this restriction.       I received a gift card for my birthday on January 8th and about two weeks later $190 were stolen off the gift card. I immediately called and they sent me a new gift card and told me to send them information to start a dispute case. Today I receive the money back into the new gift card! And I thank Blackhawk for there work! Took about a lil more than a month but I really appreciate it !

      Every time I have ever gotten a gift card through this company the experience has been awful.They make you go on their website (mcgift.giftcard.com) to register the card to use it online, but their website doesn't work at all 90% of the time, and when it does actually load you either have a bug where the capcha doesn't come up but it tells you to complete the capcha that doesn't exist, preventing you from doing anything. Then if you do manage to get the capcha to show up you get the error: "Technical error, please try again later."How is it legal for a gift card company to be this bad? When a card company makes it this difficult to access your money it borders into criminal behavior since their goal is probably to have their service be so bad you'll just give up on ever using the funds on the gift card so they can pocket it.I feel like this company is slipping under the radar of some government agency that should be suing them into oblivion.

      From my dealings with this **** league bank, all I can conclude is hackers have compromised their website. My girlfriend and I received a pair of gift cards as Xmas gifts, and after registering them online, both cards were used by someone other than us on the registration date. **************** does little to assist you. We were given different stories each time we called (2x) to file a complaint. There are endless complaints on this site, many of which sound similar to ours. I filed a complaint with BBB and the company's answer was they tried to call three days in a row and there was no answer. Therefore, the complaint is resolved. How convenient and a crock. We had no missed calls or records of them calling, text messages, or voicemails. We followed up and emailed them and filled out dispute forms. We need to wait up to 90 days for an answer. And what will they tell us then? How can they have an A+ rating? Beats me.

      I called and spoke to the Dispute team. The person was very nice and told me they are working on my two disputes. He intimated it would be resolved within 90 days. They have so many similar complaints. I hope they tighten their security.

      2/27--I followed up with the dispute department and was told an email was sent to us asking if we recognized the person and email that used the card on dispute case DS0466160. We never received an email and told the person on the phone, we know no one with that name or email. They are delaying doing anything as we originally said we received two gift cards and registered them on the company site on 1/2/2023 and our transaction was declined an hour later. We were unable to use the cards and still out the money. The second dispute case is DS0466160. We were told they are working on it,

      ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABHORRENT AT BEST. HANDLING OF VIRTIAL CREDIT CARDS IS SHODDY. MY VIRTUAL CARD WAS HACKED 6 TIMES STILL ONGOING PROBLEM This pathetic company handles the "virtual cards" for lawsuit awards NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS LAW. firms should investigate the abuse/theft by this company. I have not been able to use my virtual card but someone sure has been using it. CORPORATIONS ALLOW THEIR CUSTOMERS TO BE SCAMMED ESPECIALLY BLACKHAWK
